I purchased a new vehicle on Friday. Today (Tuesday) I brought it to UHaul of Scotch Plains to have…read morea hitch and wiring harness installed. Everything seemed to go well with the install, but when I arrived at home and looked more closely, I saw that my rear hatch had been both dented in one place and badly scratched in another. Having just carefully inspected the car when purchasing it, I knew that it was pristine when I brought it in. Now, mistakes happen and anyone can drop a heavy part and do damage. That happens. The real problem is that the UHaul of Scotch Plains staff hid the damage from me and just expected that I wouldn't notice it. That kind of dishonestly and untrustworthy behavior means that anyone who does business at this location needs to watch everything the employees do and double check all of their work. That can get exhausting, so I just recommend you go elsewhere.

Most were 17-18 pounds. After looking around for a local refill station, I went to Atlantic Bottle gas. They inspected my tank then topped it off. It definitely felt heavier. The guy told me that the exchange sites never have tanks that are filled to the top, as what I had previously read during my research. Maybe for safety reasons for their long storage or cheating the customers? No one knows. Atlantic's prices are way better than the competitors. I'll be going back to them again and again. The staff carries heavy 50 lb bags of feed out to the customers' cars. You can buy feed for chickens and rabbits here as well as suet and birdseed and birdfeeders. The store carries Mazuri brand feed which is the very best for geese and ducks. They also have Oxbow which is the best brand for rabbits and guinea pigs. Prices are comparable to other stores in the area. The town of South Plainfield recognized this business and a few others in town for their importance in the economy of the area for over 100 years. The corner of the parking lot has a quarter-operated vacuum and air machine for tires. Employees are usually pleasant to deal with, but gas prices here are astronomical--the highest within the zip code--and currently $0.35/gallon more expensive than the least expensive gasoline options in Middlesex County!

The odd thing about this review is that it is probably a five star place, but the one thing that…read morekeep the ratting so low is the fact that the gas prices are through the roof. If you live close to here and you want to fill up on gas I would recommend going to one of the stations on Oak Tree Road or Plainfield Ave because they are much cheaper. That being said, there are always cars here waiting to get gas, so I guess they hit the market they wanted to (locals who don't want to drive out of their way to get gas). This place also has a convenience store inside, which is nice because you can fill up on snacks before you head out on the road or you can pick up a newspaper and a coffee on Sunday morning. They have a decent selection of snacks and drinks as well as coffee and pastries. The people who work at this place are very nice and most are local to the area, so it really has a neighborhood feel to it. They do have a vacuum and a tire pump on the corner, so if you need a quick touch up, you have those available to you. They also have an ice machine, a propane tank holder and a bathroom. Over never used any of those, but they're convenient if you need them. In all, this is a nice gas station with friendly workers and a convenience store, but you will be detracted from coming here because of he outrageous prices of gas. I recommend going here for the snacks and a coffee and waiting to fill up until you get to a cheaper place a mile or so up the road.

Upstairs is a posh design studio where you can choose fancy entry doors, kitchen cabinets and pricey cabinet & door hardware. Dreyer's yard and warehouse are unusually neat and clean for a lumberyard, extremely well-organized, well lit, swept, tight. The people were very friendly and helpful. Prices on basic items were totally in line with what I expect to pay. I didn't price out a full kitchen though LOL. I talked to them about an interior door, they don't stock luan-veneer doors only birch and better, that's just one reason why I call this a high-end place.
