Satellite Self Storage discounted pricing for the first two months was wonderful. The continuing price for a 10 x 10 is less than anywhere else in the Middletown area. The facilities are clean, bright and easily accessible. My unit is on the second floor inside and easy to get to. Rosie and Debbie, who work in the office, are professional, personable and helpful. My one challenge so far was with plugging in a lamp for my unit while I spent time there to go through things. Rosie and Debbie told me I could use their extension cord while I am accessing my unit. Satellite Self Storage also provides a 14' box truck to rent, but only to rental unit customers. I will be using this truck this week and will update my review afterwards. The pricing on this truck is incredible and alot less than any place else!

When I arrived at the facility it was closed but I had no problem accessing my storage unit. It could not possibly have been any easier to load my items (backed the UHaul right up to a garage, loaded everything onto the provided carts, fit all of my belongings in the elevator in one trip, and easily loaded into the storage room). This place is great! My only concern is that renters can access the facility after hours, so the security of my belongings is dependent on trusting the other renters. If someone else comes in after hours and doesn't properly lock up (doesn't lock the garage, for instance), the security of everyone's belongings is compromised. I wish there was a way to address this because it is a bit concerning (perhaps auto-locking garages that close and lock after a set amount of time?). Aside from that, everything was great! Highly recommended!

Zip to Zip Moving DO…read moreNOT USE THIS COMPANY! Here are the FACTS of my experience. 1. They were scheduled to arrive between 8:00am to 9:00am and arrived at 10:45am. 2. Upon arriving at my new location, one backed up the truck while the other two didn't bother spotting him - the driver backed into my brick pillar breaking bricks and the light. They literally brought out some sort of epoxy and said they could fix it! I called the police who wrote up a crash report. I accepted the company's offer to take money off the cost of the move because I had no confidence that their insurance company would promptly pay - I feared I wouldn't end up with anything but a lot more frustration. 3. At the end of the move, I realized they had forgotten to move an elliptical machine that was in the basement - when I brought it to their attention, they said nothing and just left. 4. At my old house they left the garage doors open and lights on - my wife didn't want to have to drive back to the house but was worried they might have done something like this - totally irresponsible! 5. Without asking my permission, they borrowed my hand dolly. After they left, I found it in the backyard with a wheel broken off. (I sent the company a picture of it.) This is absolutely not acceptable. 6. They left packing material all over the house - when I asked about them taking it with them they said that isn't something they do. 7. They did not remove their shoes or put on "booties" even though it was raining out and caused significant scuff marks on my hard wood floor - which I also took a picture of. On June 23rd, I wrote an email to the customer service agent and a manager with whom I had been speaking. No reply. I followed-up with another email on June 24th and received a phone call saying that they would address my issues by the following day. It has now been over a month and I still have heard nothing. All of this is beyond outrageous! As a small business owner, I completely understand when "stuff happens" but when it does you do everything you can to "make it right" - not ignore the customer! Do not use this company!!!
