I told every company that we have a small move as we had been moving things little by little by ourselves, only Lynn provided me with the lowest minimum hours and competitive pricing. When I said I would get back to her, I appreciated her persistence in following up. They estimated 2.5 hours of work and Carlos and his team did a great job efficiently moving things, only took 30 more minutes than they estimated. They also didn't have any hidden charge for wrapping material for couch etc. My husband at the receiving address said they were very careful with our newly renovated home, the floor, the wall etc as they moved and assembled furniture. After the move, the owner Diego himself reached out to check in and asked for feedback. Now this was just the pickup and re-boxing of corroded cartons, but if the other end of this move go as smoothly as this side, I will sing Aces praises to the skies and above. I dealt with the same Michael J as the high maintenance young lady who complained that one of the movers pooped in her potty, and found him to be excellent from start to finish. He was thorough, assuring and followed up on every step of my estimate and obtaining the proper documentation from my co-op. I got a call to confirm, the day before the move, from the most lovely woman, Diane, who I spent the next twenty minutes chatting with. The movers themselves showed up at 11:30 AM for my scheduled 1 PM move, and politely offered to wait if I was not ready. Michael F, the foreman of the crew was at the top of his game. I just got out of his way and let him do his job. Yes, I put my cat in the bedroom, but not because he didn't like it, as one of the self entitled millennial whiners complained, but because pets get underfoot during a move, you clueless snowflake. This was single most flawless moving experience Ive had. But then again, I'm an adult and know that professionals get the job gone. And complainers complain. Yes. They re-taped some of my boxes! But that was because the tape I had used ten years ago was either old and falling off, or newly taped boxes not secure enough! If Ace is in fact a third party mover as one reviewer indicates, then anything happens to my stuff now is already out of their hands, so the job they did was excellent. And if Ace is a third party contractor, now I understand why their rates can be as low as they are!!! I reserve the right to revise my comments when my move is completed, but Aces delivered in spades. Did Michael F suggest that if I was happy they suggested a gratuity? Yes. But he also added it would be added to my bill. I asked if he'd prefer cash and he smiled. So I too tipped $100 per man and he was most grateful. I wasn't intimidated by some strong arm bully! It was merely a line item on the bill, just like you find on a restaurant check. I began composing my YELP review before Michael F had even left the building. I give him and ACE 16 stars. So far so spectacular. UPDATED 6/27: Ace arrived in LA today. The precise date we agreed upon. 3 PM. The precise time we had agreed upon! Tomas and Brooklyn we friendly, considerate, hard working. They moved everything into my garage in no time flat. Everything safe and sound! Dead on the estimate. No hidden fees, tricks or any else! In fact, I was given a document to sign that I never felt pressured, or made to pay for additional services. PS. Of course I tipped. Gratuities are NOT an additional service! BEST MOVE EVER!!!!! The movers threw everything into a huge pile in my storage space. DON'T BE A SUCKER!!! You've been warned! PS: Ronnie is very believable, convincing conman, and had booze breath.
