Tiniest restaurant I've ever visited, and everything is made from scratch! He makes his own bread, and has a small selection of sandwiches. We chose the spinach sandwich and the beef sandwich which had zucchini and a read sauce that was a bit spicy. Very well prepared and presented, and I forgot to take the initial picture, so I posted mid-meal shots. Sorry! He also had lemonade that is home made, and it can have syrups added if you want peach, kiwi, strawberry etc... very tasty!
The sides are coleslaw, vegetable soup(puréed not chunky), small salad or potatoes (which we didn't get). The salad was tiny and just lettuce, the soup was perfect and the coleslaw was elegantly flavored. Very affordable which was surprising given how close to the castle it was.
Bathroom is tiny as well, and very clean. Max told us he has been open for two months, and he has lovely photos of his family on the wall near the counter. Overall I am very happy I chose his place, spur of the moment. read more
