    Toasted Mediterranean

Super cheap, got a sandwich drink and chips for 11 euros. Was decent! Had the roasted Mediterranean, and cheddar and onion chips. The sandwich was nice and flavorful, the chips were bomb af. It did exactly what was needed to do.

Insects inside my fresh orange juice

If 4 insects were inside the orange juice, I just don't want to imagine how dirty the croissant I ate was.

This is a French chain that offers fast casual baguette sandwiches and pastries. We made a quick pit stop while on the go, and they made the cut in terms of offering good and basic baguettes filled with salmon or grilled chicken, hardboiled egg, tomatoes, capers, etc. I also got a croissant, just because. It wasn't anything special, but it worked in a pinch. There's multiple levels and plenty of seating. They do get a good amount of foot traffic so the space is pretty packed. They also have a few locations throughout Paris, but we only felt the need to visit one.

You can get a sandwich, dessert and a drink for under 10 euros here. We got the sesame smoked salmon sandwich and the lemon meringue. I love the concept of using sesame with the smoked salmon, it really works for me and it was delicious. The lemon meringue? Omg, please pass. The lemon tastes rubbery, gooey and that was my first and last bite. Convenient locations of Brioche Doree throughout Champs-Elysees though!

Inexpensive and fast- two things that make it uncharacteristically Parisian. It's a chain that we first sampled at the airport. Decent croissants, apple tarts/turnovers, and sandwiches.

    Banana and Nutella tartlette

Delicious sandwich, amazing apple pastry and Nutella banana tartlette. Customer service was kind and polite to my terrible French. That always helps. I think they get hit with a LOT of tourists being on Champs-Elysees but the quality of food was really delicious for being in this congested area

I know it's a chain, but oh my god is it good! I love the sandwiches and pastries, and you can always find a location for a quick and yummy bite to eat. Everything is good here and it is so quick! I highly recommend visiting on your trip to Paris! It's a must. I got a great ham and cheese sandwich -- the bread is to die for!

It was good but pretty standard. It was nice to grab for a quick breakfast on the go.

If you're looking for an inexpensive place to grab a quick lunch this is it, for about 8 euros you can get a sandwich, drink and pastry.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more+ THEEEEEE gold standard for macarons in Paris ... or anywhere for that matter. + Macarons here are a little crisp, a little pillowy softness and a whollllllle bunch of flavor. - It cost a pretty penny (about 3 Euros for 1 piece), but you won't regret it for a second when you bite into one of these addictively delicious treats. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + All class, top notch white glove service - literally - they handle the macarons with much care like it were gold! THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ + Located in the heart of the Champs-Élysées on Rue Lincoln, so, YES, it is busy like rush hour outside ... and inside. + There are 2 sides to this massive flagship location - you can either make a purchase of macarons at their store OR dine/sit down in their tea house. Both have lines to wait on, but making a purchase only takes about 10 minutes on a weekend, while dining in looks like an unimaginable wait! + The store to make a macaron purchase at has 3 tables to sit around to enjoy your purchase of delicious macarons. You MUST catch someone about to leave (like we did) in order to snag a table. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- = Expect waits on a weekend afternoon, especially to sit down in the tea room. If you just make a store purchase, it's only about a 10 minute wait ... and you'll be thanking your legs for that. = It's a tourist destination in itself, so expect LOTS of people taking photos of this location. CONCLUSION ----------------------- = Yes, I'm from the tri-state area and they've had a Laduree in NYC since 2011, but there's alwayyyyys something special about going to one of the originals and this spot is no different.

Pierre Hermé If you…read moreknow Pierre Hermé from social media and all the viral videos, then this review needs no introduction. But if you haven't, this is a strong contender for worthy macarons in Paris and at a convenient location across the street from Ladurée. Located inside L'Occitane in the most gorgeous floor space ever, you will find Pierre Hermé at the center of it all. They have an impressive array of flavors that were much more unique than other patisseries. I definitely asked for a few recommendations as well since I tend to order the same thing (pistachio, raspberry, lemon, etc.) The workers were very kind. They indulged my request to converse in French and corrected me in a respectful and endearing way (I know some people get upset at this idea but I personally prefer it.) I had ordered a dozen macarons but truthfully would've ordered the entire lot if I wasn't alone and especially if I wasn't already taking a ton of sweets back for my flight home. I am a Ladurée purist and what I can say is that Pierre Hermé definitely had the best and most unique flavors compared to the two. The prices are fairly comparable and the coffrets are just as tasteful. Both are strong contenders and worthy of your money. I certainly will be returning and look forward to trying the rest of their selection. (15/50--2025)

Pierre Hermé is home to some of the best macarons I've had in my life -- which is probably too many for the good of my health -- and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the macarons, the staff's attention to detail, and all the unique flavors this shop had to offer. As a popular macaron shop in one of the hottest tourist destinations in Paris, this location is undeniably crowded. There's usually a huge line circling around a central display of macaron after macaron. The line looks pretty intimidating, but it moves quite quickly, and there are so many flavors that it'll probably be helpful to have a bit of extra time to review the menu. My friend and I split a pack of four macarons, including their seasonal isapahan (rose, lychee, raspberry), infiniment praliné pistache, and a jardin de cassandre (red currant, rhubarb). The macarons were delightful. I loved the two seasonal items; they were delightfully fruity and slightly floral, and I loved the slightly tangy flavor from the raspberry in the isapahan and rhubarb / currants in the jardin de cassandre. The praliné pistache was nice and nutty, and the inner cream offered a great additional richness. It's usually super crowded so seating tends to be quite limited. My friend and I ended up taking our macarons to go and enjoyed them elsewhere as we toured Champs Elysée.

We were originally headed to an entirely gluten-free restaurant, but after doing a little more research and seeing some not-so-great reviews, we decided to find something nearby instead. Baroche wasn't exactly the pasta moment I had envisioned for myself in Paris , but we made it work! We both ordered the fish and chips, swapping the fries for salads. The fish was good, and overall we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant itself is really cute, with plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. It has that classic Parisian café feel and is in a great area for grabbing a bite and continuing your day or evening. Now...the service. Absolutely awful. Our server unfortunately fit the stereotypical Paris persona people warn you about -- rude, brusque, and generally unhelpful. He did recommend wines for us , but even then, his tone came across as condescending rather than helpful. There was very little warmth or hospitality throughout our meal, which definitely put a damper on the experience. Price-wise, Baroche seemed comparable to the other Parisian cafés and restaurants we visited in the area, so no surprises there. Overall: cute atmosphere, decent food, terrible service. Would I rush back? Probably not -- especially with SO many other cafés to choose from in Paris.
