Sitting outside is kinda rough with all the traffic going by, but brave souls persist. The food is old fashioned good. Meaning they cook like mom if she was a good cook. Proof is the crispy hamburger buns from being browned for your delight. Or staff asking if you need extra sauces. We would come as a family back in the day. Patrick always ordered a vanilla milkshake which he said were superb and a turkey club. I like the Orange Bang (which is increasingly hard to find) and a fish sandwich, gyro, or burger. The fries are okay, not spectacular like the onion rings and fried zucchini, which are exceptional. When he was a kid, my son always ordered the pancakes which are the size of salad plates. He never ever finished the meal because there is so much food. We have never been disappointed at Harry's Cafe. The crew are always quick to smile, ask the right questions and provide the best service they can. There is a waitress most days to bring food to your table or assist as needed. Ordered a triple meat breakfast burrito that had a shit load of potatoes, one slice of bacon, two sausage links and I couldn't find any ham. This is the second time in a row that this has happened. I like this burger place it's by my house too , recently the service has been very bad. Today 4/21/23 at 3:20pm on drive Thur the man was rude . He thought I did not speak Spanish he got mad because I ask for yellow chiles and I was going to pay for ranch too and he gave me attitude and told he that damm what a bug this guy is in Spanish. Usually for years, I'd stop into Harry's and get a Pastrami sandwich. What i love about Harry's is the pastrami was always lean, no fat pieces, and finely chopped. And best of all it was consistent. Every single time i been there, that sandwich was lean, finely chopped (no big pieces), I went there a half hour ago, ordered 2 pastrami sandwiches and was inside the store and could see them scoop out the meat for the 2 sandwiches and i could see a-lot of fat pieces. I specifically asked them to remove the fatty pieces and just figured they were going to chop it up really good like they used to but when i opened up the sandwich it was all fatty and not chopped up very well. I used to be able to open up a Harry's pastrami sandwich, and it would be very tender no fat at all, and just solid red finally chopped pastrami in the sandwich. I struggled to eat just half of one of the sandwiches having to pull large sections and strips of meat out to get rid of the fat. it was awful. I'm going to send the manager a letter and let him/or her know. I have talked up those pastrami sandwiches to many people telling them how consistent they are and how delicious those sandwiches are but now I can't honestly do that anymore. I'll give them one more chance, but if I get a sandwich like that again I will return it to them and tell them and I'll never go in there again. read more

I've eaten at Harry's a couple of hundred times in the past 12 years. They are nearby and have had good food at a fair price. Aug. 9th 2024 I ordered a chicken salad and a fried chicken dinner. We were having a small dinner party with a couple of friends. We picked up the order, the salad was OK but the chicken dinner was NOT edible. Yuck!! No pictures but trust me. I work long hours so today 8-29-24 was the first time I could go back for a refund. When I arrived with receipt in hand they said no-go they could not do it. That is not good service, with good food. I would not recommend going their for take out and if you do - check the food before you leave or it will end up in the trash. I would not even serve it to Sukie our furry roomate. Beware! This used to be the go to back in our high school days. After being back in the area and making a stop in, it was nothing like it used to be. Breakfast burritos used to be amazing. The chicken tacos & chili cheese fries were a solid fav. It's just not that great anymore. Makes me wonder if it has gone through an ownership change? I've been to this place multiple times before. At first they were pretty decent. But now their food is mediocre the service in the drive through can be ok or crappy, depending on who the server is. Tonight I went and for a quesadilla. The same old man waited on me the last time. I asked for extra hot sauce. And he acted like it was too much of a hassle for him or it's coming out of his paycheck. I always ask nicely but this is the second time he had an attitude and only gave me one. Another female woman acted the same way once. I'm willing to pay for the extra. All they had to do was tell me if it's 25 cents or 50 cents. I only come here as my last option now. I wanted to like this place. I've driven by here multiple times. My husband and I came here for breakfast a couple of days ago and we were both really disappointed. I got the pork chops and eggs and my pork chops were dry and burnt on the outside. My toast was burnt as well. Hash browns were crunchy on the outside but soft, mushy and tasteless in between. My husband's steak with his steak and eggs was over-cooked. The service was good which is why I'm giving them two stars. The food, no. Worst service and food I ever had there. The lady was very rude. The onion rings were gross. Soggy and covered in grease. I know that's how you cook them but they tasted like they soaked them in it for a few hours before serving them. I asked for them well done And I got breading Falling off Mush. Very disappointed. Very upsetting they would treat any one like this. They have lost me and my family for a while. We like to go to this location because they do have good food, but service has to improve, this time we went through the drive thru on a sunday night around 6:00 pm, placed our order and we went to the window to pick it up, we realized that they had zero pepsi, so we told the employee at the window if he could change our diet coke for the zero pepsi, he gave us a look like if he was being bothered by it, ok so he gave us our order and my husband asked if we could also have yellow chillies, and he gave us that look again, and then with a sarcastic and rude voice he asked "anything else?" (It's not like we asked him to pay for our food!) I think that customer service is very important when you are giving a business well... business, I don't expect any royal treatment or anything but why do people in this businesses have to be rude when you are being nice to them?
