Do you mind having someone make your salad without gloves on? As I waited for my order next to the drive up window I watched someone prepare a salad without using gloves. Opening different refrigerator cabinets to locate salad items such as lettuce, tomatoes, onions and place it on a plate. Then, got some white cheese from another location and sprinkled it on top of the salad using bare hands. Watching this definitely ruined my appetite. Who knows what else was touched prior to this. I feel if a person were to handle uncooked foods, gloves should be mandatory. Places like Subway require their employees to wear gloves when putting your sandwich together. I work down the street from Harry's Cafe and have been driving by it for the past two years. I always wanted to try it out. We finally went there two weeks ago for dinner. It was delicious. I had liver and onions with baked potato, salad, soup and a roll. Plus a few onion rings on the plate. My partner had fried chicken, (half a chicken), zucchini fries and also had a few onion rings, salad, soup and a roll. The zucchini fries are the best. The portions were very big. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. It the past two weeks we have eaten inside two times and ordered to go two times. We will definitely go again and again. 1st time visiting there. The lady in the drive thru was great. However, I didn't care for how the ranch tasted. I was charged for the ranch and didn't mind paying it. But went back inside and ask for bbq and I was met with attitude. Questioned. He wasn't sure it I ordered something in the first place. I told him I was in the drive thru. He stated it would be .19 cent for bbq sauce. I said ok. I didn't have cash on me and I was about to go get some change. He then gave me the worse look some can give, walked over to where the sauces were and gave me a bbq sauce with discuss. Wow!! That particular guy was rude and lacked customer service. My chicken salad was bla. Chicken was dry as paper, cucumber was soggy and bitter, who puts olives with a pit in a salad? The chicken soup that we got with the burnt battered cod was flavorless. Zucchini was burnt and not that appetizing. Although the price to feed 6 people was $67 not bad but not worth it. We got about 4 lbs of fries for four meals. Last time I went I got breakfast. Harrys is a hidden gem in the perris area. The food is always good and service may take a bit (drive thru specifically) but what do you expect from made to order food. Inside they do have a tv and shows some sports on so it gives you a good relaxed vibe while you eat. Always a great go to place for my family. read more

Very disappointed, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, I told the lady 3 times no tomatoes and no pickles add onion.. I received my burger to go, full of pickles and tomatoes and the bun tasted stale, very disappointed. Expensive burger to throw away, which is exactly what I did!!! And now they allow you to serve yourself drinks, twice I watched as young boys went up playing with the soda machine adding, dumping, one picking food out of his teeth then back at it with the soda machine, just playing with it, and no one said anything! Ugh. Where do I start. I absolutely love Harry's! The customer service - so perfect. What sucks is after eating there for over a decade - to find out their health rating score has been so bad (consistently up and down) over the same thing, hygiene/cleanliness (ie. NOT wearing gloves and not washing hands after using the restroom) and not properly storing food. It totally sucks cause I love them so much - but the stomach aches the day after - painful for sure. When I am in the Perris area I am looking for a good place to eat. I believe I have found it! Great prices and very flavorful delicious food. I have been the Harry's in Sunset Beach and I loved it and was hoping this one was just like it and its dead on! Looks like a family owned chain and they give you plenty of food along with wonderful service. They were a bit slow on the day I went but maybe cause it was packed with people. I ordered the Ribeye steak and eggs and it was big and juicy along with a good portion. My buddy ordered the ham and eggs and got a disappointing small thin slice of ham. We've been coming here for years simply because they were known for having good food for a decent price but our last visit was not so good. We ordered a full size chili cheese fry and sadly it wasn't the same portion as before and the price went up $1.50. Same happened with the chili dog, not as much chili or cheese and they charge extra now for cheese and onions and the price went up. My boyfriend and I went through the drive thru and it took us not even kidding like 40 minutes to get out of there! The menu is huge and if we were hungrier we would've definitely like to try things out, but the wait was too long. By the time we got our food, it was already cold... I've dined here twice, so it is pretty good. Plenty of seating. Hint, don't try to read the menu board there is so much on it the print is really small. Instead pick up a printed menu beside the cashier. Much easier. Great selections of both Mexican & American dishes. They have an all-day breakfast menu. Condiment cart has a nice selection of fresh salsas, pickled carrots, onions and chilis, and other items. Plenty of seating and FREE parking. Last meal there was carne asada, I thought it was a little dry, but still tasty and served with fresh chopped onion, cilantro, beans and rice and FOUR warm tortilla shells. I never post anything bad about restaurants, but this was just awful. I ordered their 2 tacos with rice and beans. the sign out front said 5 bucks....ended costing 6.67...but I didn't say a thing. The lady at the drive thru window was so very sweet. The food was not. I ate most of the refried beans, but the rice was awful,,,,had an after taste of maybe being old? I always enjoy my breakfast and coffee time on Saturday early morning. It gets pretty crowded during noon so I make sure to go early. Portions are big and prices are very competitive. I usually enjoy a French toast breakfast with coffee. Staff is super nice and attentive, they always make sure your coffee cup is refilled when you dine in. Went there last Saturday around 6am, the drive thru was empty so I expected a short wait but it still took 10 minutes to get our food. We ordered 2 burritos, I ordered the sausage egg but was given the wrong order. Instead, they gave me a bacon burrito, the bacon and hash browns were dry and overcooked aka burned and there were no eggs in the entire burrito. Me and my family come here at least twice a month. Sad to say this will be our last time. My husband wanted to get breakfast so we came to Harry's of course. The owner was super friendly until my husbands card got declined. He didn't realize a bill had went thru and left him short. No worries he pulled out the $10 cash he had on him. He was short a dollar for the coffee he had ordered and went to hand over the card knowing he had a few dollars and she rudely declined his card and said no she can't take it if it's an order under $5. Instead of just being a good owner and saying hey next time you can pay for the coffee (which is watered down anyways) she acted so rude. Luckily one of the workers was kind enough to give him a coffee on the "low" but she is horrible. She just lost a family of 6's business. I'll make the drive to Angelo's. Their prices are some of the lowest I have seen anywhere. The best way to describe it is a Mexican-American fusion diner. The food is good but don't expect anything fancy. Harry's Cafe is a home cooked meal at someone else's house. There is some inconsistency when it comes to seasoning but they make up for it with speed and customer service. The food comes out so quick they even have a drive through. The staff is almost always very pleasant and happy to serve. What makes this place special is its marketing strategy. And the burgers are delicious, especially when compared to crappy burgers like McDonalds and Burger King.
