Better than I expected! Logistically, plan ahead for some traffic. Plenty of parking, but it's a bit confusing since you're not pointed to any particular row. They sell drinks before and in the middle of the walk. There's not a lot to see, so no need to rush the walk. The music is nice and there are some cute interactive stations.

I won four tickets to the Harry Potter experience in Cedar Creek. I went with my mom, my husband, and my 10 year old. I loved Harry Potter as a teen. However, this Harry Potter experience was so lackluster and disappointing. We went on February 8th around 7pm. Weather was good. Parking was very organized. Although I wish there was a line for those that had already paid for parking and for those that still needed to pay for parking. The parking area was covered in rocks which made it hard for my mom to walk. (She's 62 and has some problems with her feet.) Going in, there were a few photo ops right away. There was also a little area to get some British food and Harry Potter inspired hot chocolate and Butterbeer. Staff at these little stands were friendly, but it was expensive. A small cup of butterbeer was $9. My mom let the worker convince her to try it with some Captain Morgan rum bringing the total from $9 to $18 for such a small cup. My 10 year old got the Gryffindor hot chocolate which was a basic hot chocolate. I believe that was either $8 or $9 so still very overpriced. Oh, and the whole place is cashless so be sure to bring a debit or credit card. Upon entering the trail, you first go into a small gift shop where you can buy wands. The regular wand was $40 and the light up wand was $50. We skipped this part because that was way overpriced for something you can get on Temu for under $10. There was decent lighting on the trail. I thought there would be more cool lights and what not set up (kinda like Pumpkin Nights), but no. Just colored lights along the trail. There were a few props like out of the movies and sound clips played over and over. There was also a few places to use your wand to cast a spell, but we didn't have a wand since on Instagram, people had asked if they needed a wand and were told no, that one would be provided when casting a patronus. There was no mention of things that could use a wand anywhere or else I would have bought some cheaper ones online before we went. Oh, and at the patronus casting, there were no wands provided like they said there would be on Instagram. Luckily, a nice man let us borrow his wand to cast our patronus. The patronus casting was really the only worthwhile thing there, and I did like the lighted mushrooms. Seriously, we were all disappointed by it as it looked so good on the website but was quite the opposite. I think it took us about half an hour to walk it all of that, and that's only because we stopped to wait in line for the patronus casting and my mom was taking a few photos. I will say the whole area was well maintained as were the restrooms. There were restrooms at the beginning and ending of the trail and halfway through the trail. Each stall has its own full size door and is enclosed so it's not like stalls in a convenient store or port-a-potties. Toilet paper was that cheap stuff though. There was a drinks stand set up halfway through the trail as well. At the end of the trail was a larger gift shop. It was pricey as you can imagine, but there was some nice stuff. Exiting was a bit tricky from the parking lot as some cars are leaving and some are looking for parking, but the parking lot staff were very friendly and knew what they were doing to help the flow of traffic. All in all, if I would have paid for this, I would have been angry. Luckily parking and the tickets were free for me since I had won a competition. I was kinda disappointed that we had driven almost three hours just to go to this event though. I would say save your money and avoid this event. You aren't missing out even if you are a die hard Harry Potter fan.

This business doesn't allow anyone to review it on its website site. There are reviews, but these are made up. While the walk was pretty neat, their butter beer machines were broken on Oct. 4th. At the main entrance the workers insisted they had butter beer at the 1/2 way point of the walk. To the point of being rude. We had already walked through the forest and they only had hot chocolate on the list at the bar in the forest. When told this, the one worker said no that wrong, they have it there. They did not or it wasn't on their menu and we saw no one with butter beer. We were at the event in Volo, IL at the YMCA camp Duncan. We didn't buy a wand and I'm glad we didn't. We were able to see what the wand did from others who did. It wasn't that great. Overall, the walk was well set up. The only disappointment was the butter beer, but this is a major part of the experience.

Came here for the first time with my family. My wife and kids are Harry Potter fans. The gift shop is pretty huge. The courtyard when you first enter is pretty huge with tables to dine on or simply just to relax. They have concessions that sell both food and beverages to include alcohol or the famous Butter Beer from Harry Potter. We ordered the Butter Beer with a cute little mug souvenir. Not my favorite, pretty diabetes sweet lol. Before we started our journey through the woods, you cut through a mini gift shop where you can purchase these light wands that come in handy during the back end of your trail because you can play along. There is an area where they lend you wands just to do an epic battle for picture purposes. You can bring your own wand for photos, but theirs are specific to some parts of the trail. The path is mostly gravel and dirt so probably best to wear shoes before your feet get dirty and/or you twist your ankles. I would recommend bringing a selfie stick to take tons of photos without having to ask someone to take them for you. Mostly fancy lighting, sound clips from the movie, and a few cool Harry Potter movie scene setups. Overall, real pricey, but definitely a must do once. Buy your tickets and parking pass online. There was no line to enter, but taking photos throughout the trail can create lines. If you don't care about taking photos, then keep walking and bypass the line. The trail is approximately an hour long. There's another mini concession halfway through the trail. Staff are friendly and pretty fast. Parking is pretty tight and on the grassy field and/or on gravel. Restrooms are larger portal potties.

It was nice to do once - it wasn't too crowded when we went but there are lines for the interactive parts. It's cool that it's in the forest and feels remote and more immersive than other events. Some of it's corny (kids would be more entertained by certain elements). It's a very low-key fun night-time activity that's a one-and-done. We had low expectations and paid a while ago so I enjoyed it. If I'd forked over the $100 for the two of us after we'd waited nearly 20 minutes to park I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much.

I just happened to see something come through my newsfeed over Fb, I bookmarked it, found my schedule open, so headed east to check it out. Emma likes to play in her room... and who doesn't like to play with little spirits?! I didn't know the history of the Magnolia Hotel so was totally clueless walking in the door... Magnolia Hotel has been on Ghost Adventures on Travel Channel. Also, Magnolia Hotel is ~not~ a hotel, it is now a personal residence. To my delight, I was able to hear stories of the old hotel, tales of it's past residents many of which have never left, and how Magnolia Hotel was discovered by the owners. Jim & Erin saved the Magnolia from being demolished... they single handedly have saved a part of Seguin history!... and some haunted history at that! I spent about two hours just hanging out, looking around, and people watching... talked to some interesting people, listening to questions and answers... all very interesting. Did I have an experience? I had something creepy go up the back of my left neck and skull as I was talking to a ghost hunter in the original dining area where the owner was sitting. I also felt some weird things around the house... but something I brushed off at first until I started listening to others talk about it... when you first come up the stairs, it feels really heavy. I originally brushed it off as I just walked up the stairs... but no, go back and you feel it... and everyone was feeling it!!! Emma was playing in her room. One of the guides said just a few minutes earlier, a little girl got scratched. Then someone told her that they saw the door knob in the pink bathroom turn back and forth. The owner, Erin, said this house is more active during the day than at night. Wow! The owners Jim & Erin host a ghost tour in their home on occasion, which books up months in advance. The tour last about 2 hours with in-depth stories which might also include a spiritual reading from the Erin at the end (but only if deceased wish to come forward). Erin has written Haunted New Braunfels, Haunted Seguin, and soon to be released Haunted Magnolia House. All proceeds go towards restoring the Magnolia Hotel. I can not wait to go on their ghost tour!

Upon arrival, he provided a cooler with ice and water bottles for us to use to store some of our sandwiches and drinks. The boat ride was extremely smooth and he provided much insight into Lake Travis! The boat was equipped with speakers that allowed us to play our favorite songs and the slide & lily pad were a nice added touch! The girls and I thoroughly enjoyed it and the location he chose, Devil's Cove, was great for pictures and swimming. Overall, the experience was a 10/10 and I would highly recommend booking with Nauti ATX Charters again!

Overall, the…read morescenery was beautiful and the ride itself was enjoyable, but there were several issues that took away from what should have been a smooth private charter experience. The communication beforehand was not great. The driver texted me the night before around 7:45 PM, and when I replied immediately with concerns about the weather and rain, I didn't receive a response until after 10 PM. The email also stated that the driver would contact us 15-30 minutes before the reservation time, but that never happened. Our reservation was from 9:00-11:00 AM. When we arrived at 9:00, no one was there, so I had to text the driver myself. He responded saying he was getting the boat ready and putting gas in it. In my opinion, those things should have been done ahead of time so guests are properly greeted and the ride can begin on time. When we boarded, the seats and boat were still wet from the rain. Since it was chilly outside, sitting in wet seats for a two-hour ride left our clothes damp and uncomfortable. To give credit where it's due, the driver was friendly and enjoyable to talk to during parts of the ride. However, he also took phone calls during the charter, which felt distracting during what was supposed to be a private birthday outing. The biggest disappointment came on the ride back. The driver stopped to assist another boat that had already said help was on the way. He tied their boat to ours and pulled them in, which significantly took away from the private experience we had paid for. While helping others is kind, it felt inappropriate during a paid private charter, especially one booked for a birthday celebration. Additionally, the trip ran later than scheduled, and there was never any communication about the delay. Our reservation was clearly scheduled for 9-11 AM, and it shouldn't be assumed guests are okay with going over time simply because the ride started late. People may have plans afterward, and communication would have gone a long way. Overall, the lake itself was beautiful and parts of the experience were enjoyable, but the lack of communication, late start, wet boat, interruptions, and detour during our private charter made the experience fall short of expectations.

Searched online for brewery tours that included this and finally decided on Austin Brewery Tours. Almost daily tours, online booking was so easy, and we got a reminder, a couple of days earlier to our tour, via email. Tour starts at noon. Meetup time was 11:30am. At around 11:25am the van was there. Out comes Shane, owner and tour guide. He immediately introduced himself, thanked us for being on time and proceeded to ask us our names and where we were from. Once the other people taking the tour arrived, we were all introduced and in the van we went. During the time we were driving, he would ask us questions to get to know us better, and see the style of beers we liked. He also gave us an intro of each of the breweries we would visit. He made the time driving pass by fast and welcomed all questions we could have. At each of the breweries, he explained the process and what we had included in the price of the tour. At Jester King, they even had a special release and he bought a sample of each (which was not included in the price but he gifted us with it) making sure we had the complete experience. You can tell he enjoys doing these tours and meeting the people. He even took us to Revolution - which was in front of one of the breweries we visited - to try locally made flavored gin. So greateful he allowed us to do this quick stop - this was delicious, and gave me the opportunity to talk more with one of the ladies on the tour, exchanging ideas on recipes with the gin we had just tried. Shane is grate at incorporating everyone in the tour and conversations. He allows you plenty of time to enjoy each brewery and every beer you choose. He is now friends with the staff at each of these breweries, which works on the advantage of everyone in the tour since we got excellent/ friendly service at each stop. Best part of this all, is you meet new people, get to enjoy all the beer you can drink, and don't have to drive. Great way to spend a day in Austin. If looking for a beer tour, look no further, this is it!

Originally we were told we were only going to get pushed back a half an hour and then when we got to the pick up spot at 2:30 we were contacted and told it would be closer to 3:00 and then a little bit after 3 o'clock we were told the bus was on its way, but were not given a timeframe. The bus pulled up about 3:30 but the bus driver had to clean up and restock and give us the rundown of how the afternoon would work and we didn't leave until closer to 4:00. Tour itself was fun; open air bus, music, sightseeing. We were only on the bus for an hour and a half instead of what should've been a two hour excursion. Once we were off the tour, we contacted the company to ask what they could do for us for the time inconvenience (late and shortened tour); either refund some of the cost or they to pay the mandatory tip to the driver instead of us coming out of pocket more. WHILE WE WERE STILL STANDING ON THE SIDEWALK NEXT TO THE BUS the company calls the driver and tells her we weren't impressed with her service and that we weren't tipping her.
