Nursing staff has always been friendly and helpful and have been quick to answer the call button, which is by speaker on bed remote here. It's primary focus is outpatient surgeries, and the staff is helpful, efficient, professional, friendly and caring. There is a high nurse to patient ratio, and every one of them focuses on patient comfort. If you have a choice when scheduling outpatient surgery, this facility and its staff would be hard to beat.

First is my MRI experience - At 12:25 they checked me in and just after 1 pm, I was taken upstairs…read morefor my Prohance dye injection. This is where the doctor uses an ultrasound to inject contrast dye into a joint for the MRI. From there I was taken back downstairs where I changed into scrubs and was left alone in a waiting area for another hour. As I sat there, I wondered what would happen if I had an anaphylactic reaction, no one checked on me the whole time. I had time to Google the FDA recommendations for timing between injection and MRI and I learned that the MRI should take place within one hour of the dye injection. I wondered if they would have to redo the painful injection. At 2:05, someone came by to let me know it would be five more minutes and not to worry- the dye lasts. It's just no fun to hang out in a gown for more than one hour. I was there just over two hours. I went back the next week for a mammogram and that took 30 minutes total from when I parked my car to when I was leaving again in my car. Much better experience.

The clerk at the desk was checking another patient in so I had to wait about 10 minutes. The clerk then, took my health history, complaint, and vital signs. Then took me directly to an exam room. It was not 5 minutes until a practioner showed up, Joe. We was very kind and professional. Since he had to look at my rectum he called a nurse in for his safety as well as mine even though I had family members with me. Once he examined me he consutled the doc who came in almost immediately to take a look. He too was kind, professional, understanding and funny. Dr Pope. He preformed a procedure which gave me some relief, and answered all my questions and referred me for follow up with a colorectal doc. We were in and out and back home in under 2 hours. The facility is brand new and super clean. Nurses, medical student and billing clerk were all very friendly and professional.

The facility was absolutely spotless and the staff was engaged, attentive, committed, and caring. It was a great experience for my wife at a time when she really needed it, and I knew during her stay there that I could rest assured that she was getting the best possible care. We were offered the option of Frazier or PAM, and we would have been on a waiting list for Frazier. So glad we were "forced" to go with PAM!

This facility used to be Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital. Though, in early December 2024, it was…read morebought by PAM rehab and then renamed after the company. There is another location south of here in Clarksfield, Indiana, but this is the North location. This facility is deemed an acute one which takes patients who have had a stroke or a traumatic brain injury and rehabilitates them until they are maybe at least able to feed themselves and possibly walk. My primary care physician recommended this location for my mother, who had a stroke around Thanksgiving and spent three weeks in the hospital. Before the stroke, she was very active, independent and could care for herself. After the stroke, she needed to have some rehabilitation and therapy before coming home. Other facilities wanted to throw my mom away into long-term care and not really give her a chance or opportunity to attempt to rehab herself. The intake agent for PAM Health was NOT like that and she said the staff at the facilities do not have that attitude either. She took care of everything that facilitated my mom being transported from the hospital to the rehab location. Everyone who was associated with the care of my mother was amazing. They were caring, empathetic, and patient with her needs, but also challenging with her therapy when needed. In addition, they were communicative with me in terms of identifying her needs challenges, diagnosis and prognosis. I really appreciate their candidness and empathetic nature. I would not have been able to endure this whole process without them. If any other traumatic things happen to me or any of my family members, I would definitely try to get them into this facility.

She's been the family doctor for over 25 years now and the only negative thing I can say is the wait is terrible. But- Dr. Fisher is the only doctor at this practice so it's understandable. She spends quality time with me each time to ensure all my questions are answered, and always asks about the rest of the family too!
