Professional, fast and friendly! Been there for mammograms, CT and MRIs. Highly recommend.

First is my MRI experience - At 12:25 they checked me in and just after 1 pm, I was taken upstairs for my Prohance dye injection. This is where the doctor uses an ultrasound to inject contrast dye into a joint for the MRI. From there I was taken back downstairs where I changed into scrubs and was left alone in a waiting area for another hour. As I sat there, I wondered what would happen if I had an anaphylactic reaction, no one checked on me the whole time. I had time to Google the FDA recommendations for timing between injection and MRI and I learned that the MRI should take place within one hour of the dye injection. I wondered if they would have to redo the painful injection. At 2:05, someone came by to let me know it would be five more minutes and not to worry- the dye lasts. It's just no fun to hang out in a gown for more than one hour. I was there just over two hours. I went back the next week for a mammogram and that took 30 minutes total from when I parked my car to when I was leaving again in my car. Much better experience. read more

MRI was scheduled quickly. Being self-pay, we asked several times the cost...were told a number and knew that we had to pay at time of service. We did pay the amount we were told it at time of service. THEN, of course the SURPRISE BILL comes in the mail. The price we were quoted was apparently only PART of the bill., like LESS THAN HALF of the amount. It seems that practices prey on the self-pay patients because the SURPRISE BILL is not allowed, BUT that is for those with insurance. IDK. Anyway, I called after receiving the SURPRISE BILL and was told to disregard it. Well, a moth later, guess what we get in the mail, the notice of a payment due on that same bill. I Guess the girl who tole me to disregard it was in a hurry to get off the phone, lor just didn't want to deal with my complaint so she erroneously told me to disregard the bill just to appease me. WOW, just WOW. For this reason I am not sure I would go back, nor ever recommend anyone to go there because with business practices like that, who knows what else dishonest employees "Get away with"? I shudder to think of all the ways a compromised person could be taken advantage of in a setting like theirs. read more

This morning I go in to priority radiology for a sinus CT scan because the VA hospital is too booked up. I am a US Army veteran with disabilities. One being severe sinus issues but my doctor does not want me wearing a mask that are basically useless anyway. This office obviously have no concern for my welfare or my ability to breathe freely because they demand I wear a mask to be seen. My VA doctor has even signed off for me to not wear it a cloth facemask because it is already difficult for me to breathe freely without one. Such a nice way to treat a disabled veteran that is not sick, nor am I showing any signs of illness. Everyone KNOWS masks are a joke and do NOTHING to prevent the spread of Covid-19. No different than the vaccine! They do nothing to prevent the spread of Covid! Because I refused their petty mask, I was refused services so I had to leave without the VA needed service to make further evaluations of my disability. Only paranoid mindless sheeple wear masks these days. Unless you're truly sick but in that case you should stay home if you are but I'm not sick or symptomatic at all but they don't care. Even the president declared that the pandemic is OVER. Apparently not for them. Sad... read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I have been in twice. Both times the individuals who performed my procedure went above and beyond in making me feel comfortable and at ease. Let's be honest, no one enjoys these types of appointments and there is often stress and anxiety that comes with it. But the people I have dealt with here have been true gems. They really made my experience a positive one. In addition, the results came back extremely quickly - an added positive not having to wait and worry. Five stars, highly recommend! read more

About a month ago, I had a terrible experience at Floyd Hospital. I needed to get an ultrasound on my liver. It was where my doctor had sent me. After that, I refused to return to them and asked that they send me to Priority Radiology, where I get my mammograms done. As always, they were friendly right off the bat. Reception was exceptionally pleasant and efficient. They sent me right upstairs, and I was received by Tara, the technician. She was wonderful. She and I carried on light conversation that helped keep me at ease as she proceeded with the ultrasound. I was in and out within 18 minutes of my appointment time. I had a PET scan scheduled yesterday but just as we got there, the electricity went out. Needless to say, I was mess just getting there and that didn't help. However, the technician, Rebecca, went over and above to calm me down. It was a very stressful time. She got me in first thing this morning. I just wanted to give her and all the staff a huge thank you for helping me through one of the most difficult times in my life. read more

I am sorry to leave this review because I have tried to resolve the issue with management but I have been unable to do so. If you are looking to have imaging done, please take your business somewhere else. While the office is staff was nice, the imaging itself was subpar and the radiologist reading was completely unacceptable. A complete waste of money. There are many other choices to get imaging. Do not go here. read more
