Super friendly, also like my 5 other visits. It is convenient cause it's down the street. Also very promptly sent me to a specialist.

I had a great experience, despite this being for an injury. (I'd much rather frequent and review…read morerestaurants!). But the people at ProScan did such an awesome job, they deserve a shout out. Would definitely recommend. My doctor decided to order an MRI on Friday around noon and I was able to get it at 3pm on the same day. When I arrived at ProScan, I received some MRI screening forms, etc. they did a great job highlighting them so I only had to fill out the minimum. The waiting room had distanced chairs, the pens were marked in clean/dirty containers and everyone (staff + patients) were masked. I waited under 10 min before heading back for my scan. The rad tech who took me back to the MRI stowed my things in a locked cabinet, made sure I had questions answered and talked me through the scan. She was upfront about the duration and noise (provided me with earplugs) and when I started to get a little antsy in there, she was a great cheerleader. As a doctor, I know how important it is to have a disc of images to take to any future subspecialists so I loved that they had me wait and burned a disc that I could leave with. Pros: They have their own parking lot (even though it's a busy street), friendly and supportive staff, great COVID precautions. Disc of images provided when finished.

Very poor service. Health care is too expensive to have poor service. 8:30 appointment and still…read morewaiting at 10:15.

I was originally told my financial responsibility would be $322.00. I paid this on the date of service but later received a bill for an additional $522.00. I have had to make several phone calls to their billing department about this and have been told they would investigate and get back to me. Then I receive more demands for payment, and no one ever calls back. It's also often hard to understand what the billing agent is saying due to a language barrier (I speak English). This makes the problem even more frustrating.

I showed up to my appointment and only had one sheet to still complete. The front desk person (Rachel) was extremely helpful to the person in front of me, and then to me as well. She even spoke fluent Spanish to assist the person in front of me. When it was my turn, she took me back to a changing room and gave me very clear instructions on what to do. I waited a reasonable amount of time before the imaging tech came to get me. His name was Koi, like the fish. He went through some pre-imaging instructions and questions, knowing that I am at the very least, moderately claustrophobic, I did feel safe and cared for with Koi setting me up and performing the imaging. MRI is no joke for someone who is claustrophobic. When the imaging was done, he gave me clear instructions on what to do and that I was free to go. I would recommend this imaging center if you have MRI needs and if you are anxious ahead of time. They took good care of me.

This is a medical practice that has changed it's name or association with a larger provider…read moreseveral times. It is currently part of the U of L Medical system. The practice is made up of a variety of doctors, physician assistants, nurses, and lab personnel. The practice specializes in adrenal disease, diabetes technology, and monitoring/diagnosing diabetes and the appropriate medicine for the stage of diabetes. Overall it is a necessary and useful practice. That being said the practice is only as good as the individual doctor and physician assistant. Our original association with thus practice was with Dr Williams as our primary doctor, alternated with vists to Physician Assistant Melanie. Once Dr Williams retired care was provided exclusively by the Physician Assitant Melanie. Based on that contact we had a solid 4.5 with the half point being deducted for the difficulty in scheduling appointments due to too many patients for the provider hours available. Since that original contact I have decided in fairness to the providers the individual doctors should have their own Yelp listing. It's not fair to downgrade the overall practice because of an individual that is part of a bigger group. So our two star experience with Dr Self will be separate and our delight and five plus star experience with our new doctor, Dr Kamal will be under her listing. The building is a busy place full of a variety of medical practices. The parking lot is frequently crowded and handicap parking spaces are always in demand. So a word of warning, allow a little extra time to get parked and find your way through the building.
