Had 7 visits that cost me $600 and only to feel in worse shape than before I first visited. After a second evaluation they wanted an additional $2K to start a new rehab plan. Further more they wanted to give me a small % discount if i paid upfront, kinda felt like a used car lot. Its been two weeks since they tried to get me to buy into their plan and I haven't been back. No one from this office has attempted to reach out to check on how i was doing.

I have been a patient at several different Physical Therapy places in this area (and as a previous…read moremilitary wife, I have been treated at a few OUTSIDE this area, too). The Results office on Cedar Grove Road has some of the finest therapists available anywhere. I doubt you could find any one in a 100 mile radius who is more qualified, knowledgeable, or compassionate than the head of this Results team, Louanne Armstrong. I was a patient under Mrs Armstrong a few years ago. I was receiving therapy again when the pandemic began, so stopped my treatment until vaccination was available. I was still having a lot of pain & last month, my doctor was talking about possible surgery and pain management, so I requested he consider physical therapy and asked for a referral to the Results in Shepherdsville. I have so much respect for Mrs Armstrong and her crew that, even though my doctor kept submitting my referral to the PT group in his medical facility, I refused it 3 times before I finally convinced him that I wouldn't settle for less than Results. The Results Physical Therapy office is easily located and has plenty of convenient parking. There's a nice little waiting room for those who have to wait, although my personal experience has seen waits are usually pretty short. The Administration staff are very efficient & courteous. The physical therapy room is large, open, and light; and yet, each patient's couch has curtains if privacy is needed. I enjoy the fact that there can be as much or little interaction as desired among patients since everything is so open. But there is also plenty of privacy if a patient should wish or need. I do believe that Mrs. Armstrong and her team know every muscle, tendon, ligament, nerve, artery, and bone that run through the body and how each is connected to all the other. They seem almost magical in their ability to pinpoint a pain trigger and how to work around it or through it until it is no longer so painful. Within three short weeks, I am stronger & steadier on my feet; and though I know I still have a long way to go, it seems to me that I have improved considerably. All the members of the Results team are highly professional, but still friendly enough to relax any type personality. They are understanding when I am hurting too bad to continue with a particular exercise, & usually can offer another way to get the same results without causing more pain. It's such a comfort to know that there are real professionals available in my community. I hesitate to give them such a great referral, even though they deserve it, because I am afraid too many people will begin to go there and they won't have enough time for me! But as selfish as that would be, I just can't keep good news to myself.

I know, that sounds weird, but most VA hospitals kind of run and look similar. Entering the grounds is fairly simple. However, the tricky part here is finding a close enough parking spot without having to walk a mile. The parking overall is a mess, but what makes it worse is how the lots are set up and how many one ways there are within each parking area. Each day that I arrived here, I would drive around ten to twenty minutes until I found an actually spot within a decent walking distance. There are two entrances here, East and West. Most people seem to park near and enter at the West entrance. Something to keep in mind, if you use the entrance you are entering on the basement level. But that's if you are here to visit the main building as there are many outlying buildings that I have no idea what is in them. In the main building you can get wherever you need and if you do not know where you are going, you can stop by the information desk and they will direct you to where you need to be within seconds. This whole place is beautiful. The grounds are amazing and good for walking. But, very soon, a lot of what is here will be transferring to the new facility that is nearly complete. So, if it is like other areas, they will abandon a perfectly good piece of land for "greener" pastures and let this sit to rot. Greener here, means right next to the Interstate.

Louisville Bone & Joint Specialists, PSC is a conveniently located orthopedic office on the first…read morefloor of the 4001 Kresge Way building directly across from Baptist Hospital. I think there are at least eight doctors that are in this practice with a variety of orthopedic specialties. Additionally there's an excellent group of x-ray technicians that very capably take your needed x-rays at the time of your doctor appointment. They are instantly ready to be viewed by your doctor. The patient alone is escorted in for x-rays and then returned to the waiting room for anyone that may be accompanying you to your doctor appointment. There are a variety of chairs in the waiting room including some tall seats to make all patients comfortable while waiting for your appointment. The front office staff are quite efficient and if you do the pre-registration on your cell phone prior to your appointment you will only have one page to sign. You may be caught off guard when you walk in and see so many patients waiting but don't panic. There is more than one doctor seeing them all and some are there just to get an injection that doesn't take much of the doctor's time. I can't exclaim enough with how happy I am with this practice and specifically with my physician Dr. Reid Brown. If you need a Knee Replacement, Hip Replacement or Pelvic surgery he is the one to see! Five stars all the way from start to finish when other doctor's did not think there was an option for my condition.
