Great selection of groceries to choose from. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Would recommend this store to anyone.

Although this isn't the newest or most aesthetically pleasing Harris Teeter i've been to, it is probably one of the most friendly ones. Whenever I go by a staff person i'm always greeted with a smile and sometimes even offered assistance with finding things. The aisles are kept pretty clean, and the store is kept stocked and organized. Plenty of choices in every section. I typically go early in the morning, so I don't have any issues with parking or lines. The produce, although acceptable, doesn't seem to be up to the same standard as other Harris Teeter locations I've been to. Overall however, i'm happy to visit this store. read more

Great grocery store.

Harris Teeter usually has some good prices, and is definitely easy to navigate and is definitely convenient if you need to get something late...Plus, there is a Starbucks in the Store which is convenient for those that need their dose of Frescas, Coffee, or Smoothies...The staff is definitely courteous and well trained..I would recommend this store to anyone that needs a good grocery store... read more

Walking distance for me, so yes, I do come here often... Good sushi, decent pre-prepared meals, good breads, cheeses, veggies. Good selection throughout the store, overall, and having a Starbucks is always a plus! The parking situation can be dicey at times, so if you're close enough to walk, do everyone a favor and get the exercise! read more

Quality Harris Teeter. Seriously the only drawback would be it's unfortunately bustling parking lot. I guess that's just a compliment to the store's high volume of satisfied, returning customers. With all of the upgrades coming to Cameron Village, I look at this HT and realize that it's been way ahead of it's game, and will fit right in with the new look. I heard (a rumor?) somewhere over the years that it got voted "Best Place to Meet Singles in Raleigh." I haven't scanned these reviews yet to see if anyone else heard the same, but my own visits during college seemed to corroborate this claim! read more

Wish they would keep there items on special in stock. Every time I go the things I want are out, so get there on Wednesday or Thursday right after the new weekly specials are changed. As other reviews said great people watching and best grocery store in NC until Publix makes it to Raleigh area. read more

Always slow. Most of my time in the store is spent in line at the register. So it's a last resort to come to Harris teeter when I need something and don't feel like driving father. read more

This grocery store is the worst. I went there to get some things because it was close to my location. Decided to get a salad why did i do that, went to the salad bar and flies were alive in the fruit and several other items on the salad bar, so i informed the nearest employee and left to return later hoping the bar would be cleaned and restocked, wrong came back 2 hrs later and the flies were still there, i noticed two employees were nearby I informed them that there were live flies on the food they told me to tell the gentleman named Bob who was standing near the salad bar and when I did he responded "Good"..... I was shocked by his don't care demeanor and the fact they allowed the salad bar to be left open with visible flies crawling in the food and they expected people to buy this stuff and pay 6.99 a lb.... Ewwww... The customer service sucks, the employees seem like they just there for a check. And Harris Teeter promotes their company like it is the best of the best.... Wrong..... read more

Can't say enough good things about the employees here! This isn't my usual Harris Teeter but it was closer to me today so I stopped by! The layout is slightly different, so I couldn't find all of my produce. The staff helped me find everything with a smile and kind words! Thanks for making my morning! read more

I like this location overall. Parking can be rough at times, but this location reaches a very wide range of people geographically, so it's fairly understandable. I'm surprised at how many times during peak hours there is a heavy shortage of cashiers. Other than these two minor things, the location is clean, well-stocked, and the staff is helpful. read more

Harris Teeter has nice stores, but the prices are way too high. Many things cost 40-60% more than you can buy them for at other stores. I generally do not shop here anymore if I can help it. read more

Wow...I've never been to such a bad Harris teeter. Horrendous customer service, poorly stocked shelves and flies all over the produce section. The employees look miserable and take their dissatisfaction with their jobs out on the customers. Poor management is surely to blame. read more

This place advertises itself as open 24 hours but they frequently close for blocks of time. They do it for inventory and while I understand it's necessary to do this occasionally, it seems like they do it way too often. In the year since I started shopping here, I can remember at least three times they've been closed. Since I'm certainly not shopping everyday, the odds are low that I've somehow managed to hit all of their inventory days and this I imagine they close even more frequently than I realize. Granted, they do this during less popular shopping times but when they do it, they usually remain closed until 8 am which isn't even all that early. I prefer doing my shopping early in the morning since this HT is always mobbed. At the very least, I wish they'd post signs in advance warning customers when they're going to close so I don't waste my time. read more

Good location for those that live downtown and worth it for a quick trip to buy a couple things. However, worst customer service I've ever experienced at a grocery store. Way overpriced, even for HT. Too crowded and parking is small. You need to go at an off time for it to not be busy. Too many obnoxious college students as well. Also, the shelves routinely run out of stock and there's not a big selection of anything. Store layout is bizarre. Definitely a forgettable place. I'd rather drive to find a Kroger. read more

Although the location is a bit crowded, I enjoy shopping at my local Harris Teeter. My cashier, Ladajah, was so amazing last night when I came in to get a couple things for my small get together. She was very nice and rang my items up with care and common sense. It's not the best store, but it definitely exceeds my expectations. I will be coming back to this store! read more

This location is convenient and compact, but for some reason it's always a bit dirty, especially in the floral and fruit/vegetable sections. Weird! Guess it's because of the water but I've been to plenty of Harris Teeters that do not have this issue. read more

I live closer to other grocery stores (an HT included) and still like going to this one over the others. The layout and selection here are good. They have a good balance of regular grocery items as well as organic and specialty offerings. People tend to complain that HT's prices are higher than others, but they have decent sales and a good coupon policy. My one real big complaint about this one is the parking lot. It's a bit small for the size of the store and can sometimes be a bit treacherous to navigate depending on the other drivers. read more

Go to buy produce and there's rotten fruit and vegetables mixed in with the good produce, if there is any. I've never seen such bad produce on such a regular basis that we had to stop buying from this store. It don't know why there's rotten produce and they're often just flat out of alot of produce. read more

This is a grocery store location I have been visiting since 1985 - before it was even a Harris Teeter. People complain about the prices and the parking but bear in mind that Raleigh has grown tremendously in the last few decades and that real estate in this location is a scarce and pricey commodity. We are lucky this store is here - and it's a pretty good one - with mostly high quality fresh produce. It's true other big chains are less expensive but I find their produce is not as consistently good as at HT. The Cameron Village HT also stocks a lot of high end products and it's open pretty much 24/7 so... I think they're doing a good job overall. read more

i go to grocery stores to buy food, not experience great service, which is why this review is lower. when i asked how much a particular watermelon product cost, the guy just went into the backroom and never came out. i waited for 10 minutes (it sounds like i'm exaggerating, but i'm not), and when he didn't show, i just left. also, when i was trying to fill out a vic card, the manager gave me the form, and seemed to have forgotten about me. she just left and never came back. i had to get someone else to check the form before i turned it in. that being said, harris teeter is a great grocery store to go to for organic foods, and they have a great selection. don't expect great service though. read more

It is obvious they are now owed by Kroger. This store WAS my store that I went to for everything including online shopping. But that was before Kroger bought Harris Teeter. Harris Teeter now has the same customer service that Kroger has always had, which is terrible!!!! I have been ordering specialty cakes from this store several times a year for YEARS. Now they can't/wont do my specialty cakes. I called to place the order - no problem. They called me back ONE DAY BEFORE IT WAS DUE to tell me they could not do a Superman logo due to copyright issues. Thats ok. I get it! I asked the decorator to use their best judgment and all I got on the phone was "ummm, ummm". I asked to speak to the manager. After waiting 10 minutes, the manager heard my complaint and sent me right back to the clueless cake decorator. This is NOT what I expect from a MANAGER!!!! By the way, Wal-Mart (of all places) did not have a single problem decorating my cake. And they even did it with one day notice!!!! I can see a clear decline in customer service, associate friendliness, and store cleanliness. Way to go Harris Teeter, you have lost a customer for life!!!! read more

The store is always very clean and the staff is very accommodating. The meats are fresh and the beer and wine selection is diverse. I will definitely continue shopping here. read more
