I was impressed with the fresh produce and there are to go salads and sandwiches. I ended up with a salad kit; blueberries a yogurt and a huge can of Coke. They didn't have normal sized cans. It was perfect for me as I wasn't hungry enough to dine out but knew I needed something. DGX also has household items if you need or forget something. The store likely caters to those that live in the downtown area and the college students. But it is great as a tourist too. The store was very clean and the service was super friendly. First of all, we set everything up with them in person. We were notified that our script was ready but when we went to pick it up, they didn't have us in their system and had no script for us. We had to call the Dr. and have them send the script again! After a long wait, we were told that we would have to start all over again and it wouldn't be ready until the next day. When we tried to call them to see if they had the prescription, we were not able to get through. Because one of the scripts was needed, we went to another pharmacy (Harris Teeter). We were told they don't like dealing with them to transfer as they were difficult to deal with. They suggested that we call our doctor again and have them send all scripts to HTeeter. This we did and hopefully I will have my much needed script tomorrow. My hubby and I never want to step foot in that dingy, old pharmacy again. If you are smart, you won't either.
