I just found something on clearance that I was looking for and the price was different than what I paid before. The manager was great with how it was handled. This is a frequent stop of mine and I can usually find what I'm looking for and get in and out. I like the way that this store is arranged and HT often puts items I like on sale at some point, so the email notifications are helpful in that regard. I love that there is a Starbucks inside of this location - another bonus you don't find at every HT. I frequently buy their rotisserie chicken and the staff in that department is always so helpful. Self checkout makes things easy, and this store is conveniently located in a shopping center with a pizzeria, hair salon, gas station, etc plus Chick-fil-A nearby. read more

It is a nice big grocery store that has more selection (and higher prices) than the Aldi nearby. However, after shopping there recently and getting blocked from leaving exit to the store with the items I purchased because the cart thinks I'm leaving the bounds of the parking lot, I think I'm just going to shop at Aldi from now on. That was a very embarrassing added hassle on top of an already stressful day. That's the kind of tactic that I would expect at Walmart, the place where all customers are treated like shoplifters. Why pay extra just to be treated like a criminal? Especially when a no-frills grocer like Aldi is across the street and can get me much better value without the added hassle. read more

The majority of the store is excellent. We cannot recommend the bakery. We ordered a birthday cake on Thursday to pick up Saturday afternoon. We arrived and were treated so rudely. Our order had been lost entirely. After many eye rolls, we were told that our cake could be ready in 20 min. We walked around the store and returned after about a half an hour. When we walked to the counter, we weren't even acknowledged, just stared at. By this point, we were done. We left and went home only to receive a call a half hour later telling us our cake was done. Needless to say, we did not go pick up our cake after being treated so rudely for a mistake that wasn't even ours. While it was disappointing to not have our cake for my son and I's birthday, the bigger disappointment was the way we were treated. We will not return to the bakery. read more

I did my full week's shop at this Harris Teeter (other than a couple of fill in items) and did well. It's not the largest of the HT's in the chain but it definitely meets the standard for cleanliness and friendliness. Great produce department, though a little smaller. Dry goods were excellent - well stocked and well leveled and with clear prices displayed. Not the same exact layout as my own store but still pretty good. Frozen was tidy and dairy was in great shape. Prices tend to run a little higher at Teeter than some of their competitors but it is definitely a more pleasant shopping experience. Harris Teeter is always in tip top shape! You can't really go wrong shopping here. I am more of a Publix girl but Harris Teeter was closer and more convenient this particular day. The staff was super friendly. I must have gotten a genuine hello from just about every associate I walked by. That makes all the difference! My only complaint was that they were out of T-bone steaks. Seemed like such a random thing to be out of, but it was Friday night and maybe everyone had the same craving that I did lol. All in all, very clean and convenient location. Needed checkout help to buy stamps at self-checkout (you can't just buy them at self-checkout) - couldn't get help from Laticia as she was busy rapping w Daquan about how to find a propane tank for confused customer (no signage, no acknowledgement of my existence - even though I pressed the Help button on the self-checkout console). I looked over to the Customer Service desk hoping to find help, but Tyrus was grabbing his crotch and waving his hands and mouthing something unintelligible about bananas, you know, like he couldn't be bothered, so to speak. For the most part this HT is our local grocery store and they manage to stay clean, organized and there Starbucks is amazing. I actually prefer getting my coffee from here rather then the actual Starbucks across the street. The girls that make my coffee literally are wonderful. However, the meat here I will never purchase again. Horrible experience for the second time buying here. Purchase steak and presentation seemed great h til we opened the package, you clearly saw they were covering up the bad parts and the smell was awful. Was actually able to capture some photos this time around. So please be aware when purchasing meat make sure you do not grab there brand. I will add that the customer Service/ Management were great, gave us no trouble, gave us back our money with no problem and apologized. read more

We are huge on birthday cakes for the kiddos. I needed a Penguin & Sea Turtle cake for my son's 4th birthday. I came in the day before and spoke to Corrine and with her help we were able to create a cake perfect for my son. I didn't know what to expect when she said she could free hand the sea animals. The cake was delicious (Marble with strawberry cream-super moist) and her cake decorating skills exceeded my expectations! We all were WOW'd by her design! Do not over look Harris Teeter's bakery, she did an amazing job! I am so pleased and will definitely be back! read more

This was the last stop on my shopping trip. I usually am happy with the customer service, until today. I only needed 2 items, a container of pickles and a half pound of my very favorite cheese. I was in the store early, around 10 am as I knew it wouldn't be super busy and I could get in and out. Imagine my shock at being told at the deli that I would have to wait 10 minutes! (*Whatever that amount of time was for him) There was NO one else there and I asked if anyone else could help me. He said NO! I got my other item and inquired again...same answer. I asked to speak to the manager (a cashier) left her register and customers, then walked to the other side of the store and returned a few minutes later to her register, not saying a word to me. Needless to say this WAS my favorite Harris Teeter and now is the 2nd one with shi**y customer service that I will not be returning to do business with. I will be purchasing my cheese at Publix from now on even thought it's not as conveniently located..excellent customer service when I lived in Florida and continues here. read more

This location is by far my favorite out of all the grocery store in this area because of their quality of store, product and service. This store has been here for long time and when I walk-in, I still feel like it's a fairly new store. That's how good they take care of it. I don't know if they do voodoo or not but for some strange reason, when I buy produce from this store, they seem to last longer than any other store in the area. They are always well stock on their products so if my local HT don't have it I. Stock, I know I can reale on this location for sure. Lastly, their service is really good. This Harris Teeter is located across the street from Aldi. I usually do the majority of my grocery shopping at Aldi and then will stop at this Harris Teeter location to pick up any of the odds and ends that I couldn't get Aldi. This Harris Teeter to me seems pretty quiet because of where it is located. The store always seem pretty clean and well stocked. I can usually get in and get out quickly. read more

Never really much complaints about any Harris Teeter location. Quality is always great! My only complaint this trip was the extra chatty cashier who managed to move much slower than the rest of the lines next to me. Nothing wrong with personalized customer service but there is away to do is efficiently and not hold others up along the way, esp during a 6pm rush when people are trying to be in and out to get home for dinner. Not the fanciest Teeter, but it does the trick! They often have great BOGO deals on produce and dry goods. Be sure to check the carts at the front of the store for sales. There is no ready-made bar like other HT's, so there's no hot mac n cheese or soup or pizza for the road. It's also lacking a Starbucks like some others have. But the location is nice, deals are good, and cashiers are great! read more

The delivery during the corona virus was a good experience. I had the misfortune of not grasping technology and ordered things more than once, so my order was messed up because of me. They don't take back items during the pandemic and I understand. My receipt was not in the bag and we spent two days trying to figure out how to get it to me.
