Great location, and they have a wine bar, SCORE! There are no Starbucks inside the store, though. It's a big harris teeter with their normal produce, pizza, delicious, sushi section. They have a salad and Asian hot bar. They also have a wine bar, which I always stop by while waiting for my son to get out of his guitar lessons. I usually go on Thursdays, and im always surprised at how busy it is. It's always pretty packed. Usually a much older crowd. They usually have live music on Thursdays from 5-7pm. It's not a bad store. If you're in the area and need to run to the store quickly, this is definitely a good choice. There are plenty of other restaurants, stores, etc. In the same shopping center so you have plenty of options. read more

Like this grocery chain a lot. This one is located in a two-block long strip mall ... anchoring one end. Now as far as grocery stores go, you'll find all the usual stuff here. The store layout left something to be desired, but if you are patient you'll find they have everything you might want. We thought the store staff was wonderful. Someone has trained them well. When you ask about an item, they don't just point the way ... they take you there. Very customer service oriented. Loads of parking in the huge attached lot, but it can get crowded in this very large strip mall. There had to be more than two dozen stores. But, that said, you can probably do all your shopping ... groceries and other... right here. Recommended. read more

This was my first visit to a Harris Teeter. It was also my first visit to a grocery store in North Carolina, so I remembered to check on what alcohol could and could not be purchased in a grocery store. So I saw that you can buy wine, and bonus points for this store having a wine bar inside! The center aisles feel a bit cramped, but the outside aisles did not. Everything was well stocked, even the produce, again a good sign for a Sunday evening visit. Their own brands of various products appear to be good quality and very reasonably priced too. I have no visits to other grocery stores in the area yet, but Yelp indicated this was the best Harris Teeter in the area, and one of the nicer grocery stores in the area in general, and I can see why. read more

I enjoy shopping at HT, and this branch of this chain was no exception. The self checkout lines were non existent so I was able to get in and out quickly. Parking lot was crowded and there were no stalls to return the shopping cart inside the parking lot. It was crowded on this Sunday, but their meats, seafood and produce looked fresh. I was glad to see the precautions taken for sanitation sake. Though there were no free masks, that I noticed to their credit, HT went one step further than the wipes that most places offer and installed partitions between each checkout cue to minimize cross-contamination of air space. Overall, the makeover at this location is a nice improvement. Without adding to the footprint HT was able to lessen aisle contention, increase their offerings, and heighten customer expectations. I especially like the wider sidewalks, the hot food station, and the wine bar. While some of their other stores have bigger amenities, these are welcomed improvements to Park Road Shopping Center that anchored itself in Charlotte in 1956. I say "give em a whirl" and see what the hubbub is all about. read more

I haven't been to a Harris Teeter that I was ever disappointed. Harris Teeter does a nice job keeping their stores clean, their shelves stocked, and the fruit and vegetables plentiful. With inflation there isn't much I can say about the prices. The sale items are priced right. You just cannot get out of the store without spending half your paycheck! I can only hope prices will go down They have curbside pickup if you are interested. If you haven't gone to Harris Teeter you should check them out. Have fun! read more

This HT location has been clutch for me a couple times when I need to run in and get some last minute items. You can make the argument that it "anchors" the end of Park Rd Shopping center, but really it's just a convenient grocery store at this location. It's rather small compared to the neighboring southpark/myers park locations, but it gets the job done. The parking lot is super busy since it shares the parking lot with the other businesses. What also frustrates me is how people don't understand how to read arrows with the one way lanes and angled parking. The speed bumps are a good thing since I've almost gotten run over a couple times trying to get to the store, but it could be people zooming away from the post office or other locations nearby. Typical Harris Teeter layout and helpful staff. I do feel like since this location is smaller, it's a little easier to get in and out of this Harris Teeter. The downside is the variety, but I don't want to walk out with a cart load of groceries and hours of shopping. read more

Our first visit here and it was awesome, Store is very clean and organized and no one jumped on me for taking YELP pics like Jerry did at the TajMahTeeter (Southpark). Sudhir was was friendly and that is everything when you go to a smaller store like this, Customer service and feeling like your walking into a mom & pop joint. It was not as nearly frantic and madhouse feeling as the TajMah Teeter, The only issue is the amount of same products is what prevented me from rating this or other Smaller Teeters a five. They can not carry all of the same products due to space but this one did have more than the other one down the street on park by Fairview. Well Done Harris Teeter! read more

They just re-did and re-opened this Harris Teeter location. It's right in the Park Road shopping center, which is super convenient for people who work in the area and those who live around there. There is another location nearby on Park Road, but it is uncomfortably small. I was happy to see this one open up and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was inside! Way bigger than it's sister Park Rd. location. They're produce selection is top notch and their deli is pretty fast paced. They get you in and out of line before you can say 'Thank you!'. They also have a little bar area with tables and chairs, if you feel so inclined to take a break from grocery shopping. Since this location just opened back up, the parking lot is a bit of a headache, but I see that getting better in the coming months. read more

I give this a more positive review because the men that work the meat counter are awesome every single and in general I love Harris Teeter but this location had many consistency issues. Parking - if it's prime time expect to park far and if not busy parking is a breeze. It's usually one extreme or another. Items - not as much variety as other harris teeters which is probably because it is slightly smaller than what I consider to be better harris teeters Bagging - big challenge here. I know they train people on how to properly bag but very rarely do I get a cashier that does it right. Meaning please do not put raw meat with my fresh veggies or canned food with my potato chips. Customer service- yes I'm one of those that checks every item on my receipt and every few times I catch something that rang up in correctly. Depending on who is helping you will effect how it is handled. Sometimes they refund the entire price giving you the item for free which I am pretty sure is there Corp policy but other times they just refund the difference in price. Either way, customers should all get the same. read more

This is one of those Harris Teeter's that seems completely backwards from the moment you first walk in and no matter how many times you visit, the feeling doesn't change. I can never find anything I'm looking for and it's impossible to browse because you wouldn't know where to meander to remember what you wanted to buy. Bring a grocery list and a little more determination than you expect to need at most stores. I love HT but this location isn't great. I like this one less every time I go. Visit the one further south on Park Road. It puts this one to shame. read more

This Harris Teeter is located in Park Road Shopping Center, some place I frequent often, however, I am not a regular at this store for a few reasons. The setup, no matter how many times I go, seems confusing to me. For example, the other day I was looking for juice boxes, Juice was listed in Aisle 6. However, Juice, but no juice boxes. I finally found someone to assist and he informed me they didn't have room for all the juices/juice boxes in Aisle 6 so they wrap around into Aisle 7. However, Aisle 7 didn't list juice. Whatever. Second, customer service. No employees ever seem to be around. Very hard to find someone when you are on a hunt for something. I also find the store very congested, the aisles are tight and even tighter in the deli/bread/dairy area. And, these are high traffic areas so it is always a mess. Yes, they have what most other Harris Teeter locations do, but due to the frustration I have every time I go this is definitely not my go to Harris Teeter. read more

I have been so disappointed with this store. Today was no exception. I was ready to check out. I saw lane 1, light on. The cashier appeared to be finishing up the customer before me as I heard her tell the customer her total. This customer was clearly an employee as well. I set my basket down and was waiting patiently. The off duty employee looks at me and says she's 'gonna be awhile, you can go to lane 5, he's open'. I shook my head and walked to lane five which had a line. Are you kidding me? I should wait in another line because you are busy gossiping with your co worker. I went to the self checkout. This store should just go fully self check out if that is the kind of service the management allows. I pass 2 other stores to get to Harris Teeter for this??? I won't be back. I encourage everyone to go somewhere else. Grocery prices are sky high at least you could provide adequate customer service. Very shameful. read more

Nothing new to say here. This is such a cute HT that you want to pinch its cheeks while you try and figure out where the &$(#* bread aisle is hiding. Otherwise, it's a nice and little grocery shop that has almost everything they have at the larger full-size Teeters. If this is your neighborhood, this is your shop. There is another Teeter further down on Park, but there isn't really anything else very close. read more

Not my typical HT but I was in the area. Got a few things and was on my way out. Service was fine and the parking lot is easy to get in to.

I will be honest, partly wanted to give this two stars but ended up giving a three. Two and a half would be ideal here. Have definitely been to better Harris Teeters. Pros: -Very close proximity to the house. (otherwise would not be my weekly place for grocery shopping) -The guys behind the meat counter deserve 5 stars! They are great and super friendly and helpful. At times we arrive before the open and they are not completely set up but yet they still help us out. Talk about going above expectations. - We have a system as we know the store. very seldom are we looking for items long. Cons: -Customer service will used to make things right and even give items for free when cashiers make mistakes (and trust me they often will make mistakes as my wife definitely goes over the receipt). Seems now they don't make it right. - Cashier's do not meet expectations with bagging. I get it as they are trying to move everyone through the line. I also must disclose that both my wife and I worked in supermarkets before and all we want is common sense when packing groceries. ( also note not all cashier's are necessarily bad. actually we are pleased when we land a good one that does sometimes happen) - beer selection isn't appealing to me. for one choice is limited and also do not have many porters and stouts even in the season for them. Yes, IPA heavy and that appeals to most but like variety. My suggestions would be for more variety both food and beer. I don't necessarily need better parking or even a bar inside ( as some HT do). Just provide common sense with bagging groceries and improve the selection for both beer and food items. read more

Absolute catastrophe of a store. How can this place call itself a food serving establishment...? Where would I even start to review this place? Absolutely filthy refrigerated section featuring mold and mildew in the bottom of the refrigerator. Picked up a gallon of almond milk that was covered in a sticky goo substance then vomited all in my shopping cart. STAY AWAY. Everything is expired. Harris Teeter, can't wait for Amazon and Whole Foods to buy you out because this is the worst experience of my life. read more

Oh.........scary place. I do enjoy HT, but this one is a bit long in the tooth and needs a serious make over. The place feels tight and it is always crowded. I don't make it a habit to partronize this location unless I'm already in that Shopping park. Parking is funky too with 1 way direction lanes and a good stream of cars coming off of Park Road it can be a bit scary. read more

I think this store has a fundamental problem: The check out equipment doesn't work well, the prices are high, the deli sandwich making is inconsistent in quality (I don't get fresh sandwich's anymore), the "you scan" check out equipment is not always clean, the produce is overpriced and not of good quality (my experience is with there apples and pineapples only) and more. I don't understand what's going on. It seems like they are running this store into the ground. I use to be an avid shopper for decades until the past several years. I get better value at other stores (I won't mention). I hope management reads this review and does something to improve the store quality. That's why I'm writing this review, which I'm not happy about, because it's negative. read more

I didn't care for having to search for a sales person to help me and the lack of merchandise was not appealing either. Yeah, I'll agree with the others on this Teeter - the setup is super strange. I really only hit up this location under duress or if I'm traipsing about this shopping center. It's a clean HT full of helpful employees, decent looking produce and plenty of groceries. But every time I step foot into this location I am dumbfounded by the setup and it takes me extra time to run around and find (even the category) of what I'm looking for. This location is across the street from my work. I come here a lot. This is not the most updated HT or the largest. However, the staff here are really helpful and nice. The date is the bakery. They have some great doughnuts here! They are large and soft and very tasty. Sometimes I feel like the location could be cleaner. Their floral department needs some attention. They don't have as nice of blooms as most locations. read more

I live less than a mile from this place, so I come here at least once a week. The set up is far from great. Not sure if it's because of the size or what not. But I feel they can make the set up a lot better. The parking lot is worse. If you live in this immediate area, it's worth going to the East Blvd location or even South Park. read more

I am so tired of the high prices, lack of goods and rotten produce. Seriously. The produce buyers for the Harris Teeter brand in general are atrocious. Every single fruit/vegetable I've gotten has been moldy, rotten, bruised or worse! It's such a waste and so inconvenient bc we could walk to this store for groceries. This store is set up opposite than most and is priced higher than other Harris Teeters in the area!

If you are getting fruit or veggies, don't go here. Also at the self checkout machines - the credit card swiper is very close to a sharp piece of metal, so you will mostly likely swipe your hand against this sharp metal with no other choice. Mostly I find high prices and ok people. Basically since I found the Publix in my neighborhood I rarely go back and if I do it's out of convenience to taking park rd home. Even then it's a hassle and I try to avoid it. This shopping center is almost always packed with people who can't drive, so be aware before someone looking for the post office rear-ends you. read more
