1 egg with side of turkey bacon, grits and toast

Great variety for breakfast! From American to Mexican- they've got just about anything you're craving. Everything we had was cooked perfectly. Great crunch to the turkey bacon, French toast was fluffy and grits were smooth and just the right thickness. Only thing is there is no flavor on the eggs and grits so if you like flavor you'll have to pull out the S&P. I love that they have an all you can eat boiled peanuts, rolls, and corn bread section. It's right next to the fountain drink station and condiments that includes pico, limes, lemons, jalapeños and other things to help complement your meals. When ordering you go through basically an a la carte style line and they're pretty efficient and friendly. There are plenty of seats even to accommodate large parties if necessary with a country Texan theme with a few saddles as seats, fun older articles and vintage designs.

Good, solid bbq option served cafeteria style. Closer to Luby's than an authentic bbq place, it still serves up reasonably filling food but it won't blow you away. They do offer up some nice extras, fresh corn muffins and the like. Decor makes you feel transported to the 60s.

The Breakfast is awesome but had to wait a while. I don't know what was going on because there was only 3 customers waiting. I will say it was worth the wait though.

Be warned this isn't a family friendly place as it shuffles you quickly through a line with no explanation how to order. There is no prices anywhere and the prices are extremely expensive for the size portions and sides. My wife says places like this shouldn't be allowed to be open because we both felt like we were robbed. The food was dry and lack luster on top of the tiny portions. Everyone was still hungry when we left so we got Dairy Queen next door on the way home. I have never been this unsatisfied with any restaurant before. There's a reason your restaurant is empty.

Love this place. I stop in anytime I'm on this side of town. Breakfast and lunch options are both solid.

Fine. Not great. Wish I could say more positive things. Just fine. I think their breakfast is best.

Boring, bland and flavorless. Zero smoke flavor to the meats. Brisket was old and dry. For the expensive price, big waste of money.

While it has moved from its previous Top 50 ranking, the food remains a great experience. The brisket was deliciously smoked, though I found the bark to be a little too salty for my taste. Despite that, the meat itself was fantastic. The ribs were hearty and very tender, and the pork belly had a nice flavor, but was a little on the dry side. The pork belly burnt ends were a unique treat. They were covered in a spicy barbecue sauce, which was a pleasant surprise since I usually prefer a fruity base like peach or apricot. The absolute standout was the sausage. It was a perfectly cooked, double-grind sausage with a delicious chili relleno taste. It was cheesy and had an excellent flavor that made it one of my favorite sausage offerings to date. For the sides, the carrot soufflé was a highlight. It was delicious with a smooth texture and only a hint of carrot, making it an excellent and unique side. To top it all off, there's a chocolate shoppe attached to the restaurant, so a chocolate dessert is an absolute must after your meal. I highly recommend this quaint restaurant for a truly enjoyable barbecue experience.

Went back about two weeks ago on a whim and I've already been back twice since. The BBQ is legitimately exceptional now. The burnt ends are amazing--tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. The cheesesteak is awesome, the turkey is surprisingly moist and tasty, and the overall quality is way higher than I remembered. A couple small notes: the poblano sausage was a bit too cheesy for my taste, and the mac and cheese has crushed tortilla chips on top that feel unnecessary (though the base is still solid). Must-orders: Get the chicharrones and queso and ask for a side of Tajín to sprinkle on top--it takes it to another level. The jalapeños at the condiment station are pure fire and delicious. They also have a full bar, so chilling with a cold beer and some top-notch BBQ is the move. The chocolate truffles at the counter are fantastic--you really can't go wrong with any of them. They also have specials if you order four or more items, which is a nice touch. Plenty of seating inside or outside, and there's ample parking right across the street. If you haven't been in a while (or ever), do yourself a favor and give them another shot. I'm glad I did. Solid 4 stars.
