There were 4 flattened and breaded pieces of chicken breasts and crispy batter fried onion rings. The salad had garbanzo beans, tomatoes, peppers, onion, and cucumbers with a light vinaigrette. It was all a huge portion and really good. Would definitely order this again. Noise level was low as it was getting close to their closing time. Server was polite and professional. The decline in food quality and inattentive service have removed this restaurant from our rotation.

FWIW: don't let anyone tell you that you can't put a price on your health, it's a dollar up-charge from fries to a salad which was a dollar up from the standard slaw... and the raspberry vinaigrette will fight the cidery blueberries all the way - but it's a good salad for a buck each way ;-) BWB burger represents the breed well coming out on a toasted bun with the standard and customary toppings on top and a knife through its head. really, the only thing I'd do different is ask for a small handful salad lettuce instead of the shredded because it eats better that way. attentive team-service which could get annoying but it didn't and the salad to burger transition was executed quite nicely. price point is not abusive and I'm feeling pretty full up as I finish up and get ready to leave. we did alright today and I don't have a reason to derate so I won't :-)

Our food came out pretty quickly. Everything looked really good. Nice portion sizes and the food was tasty. We got a summer lovin flatbread and the California panini chicken sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. I wasn't too fond of the aoli. I thought it was a little thick. I think I would have preferred a honey mustard sauce for the fries. Also, the chicken was so thin on the sandwich you could hardly taste it. Sandwich was good but I expected more of a chicken cutlet as opposed to a flattened piece of chicken as you might get at the deli counter. My guy finished first, but I was still eating. The server comes by and asks what we're thinking for dessert. Again, rushed? I was still eating my lunch. We weren't ready to make that decision but now I wanted to finish and go, because, clearly it's the servers favorite table, and must have some attachment to it to be rushing the meal so much. I think the server needs to work on timing. If one in the party is still eating their food, would they really be discussing dessert yet? And to remind all who are reading: it wasn't a busy day yet. Despite having reservations, the arrival and seating process felt disorganized. Our server was very friendly and sweet, but she was also somewhat aloof, rarely checked on us, and didn't seem particularly knowledgeable about the kitchen or menu. She mentioned at least five times that they had a new chef and that the menu had become "eclectic." In retrospect, that should have been a warning. Unfortunately, we did not have a single item of food that we would order again. At this price point, that is unacceptable--especially when outstanding premium restaurants such as Seaboy are literally just down the road. We started with a fried rice-ball appetizer and a mozzarella plate. Both desperately needed seasoning and were surprisingly bland. My Caesar salad was tiny, limp, and somehow almost entirely flavorless. My wife ordered a fried game-bird entrée--quail, if I remember correctly. I can't say exactly what went wrong in the kitchen, but the coating had the stale-oil flavor of McDonald's fries discovered three months too late. The accompanying sauce was murky, visually unappealing, and did absolutely nothing to rescue the dish. I love fried chicken, and even I couldn't eat hers. When our server cleared the plate, approximately 95% of the entrée was still sitting there. The server asked if my wife didn't like it, and she commented that it was not very good and explained why, yet they did not offer to make any changes or even discount that part of the bill which felt like a significant missed opportunity to address an obviously unsuccessful dish. I ordered the trout. Even allowing for the smaller portions common at upscale restaurants, it was one of the smallest entrées I have ever been served. Unfortunately, it didn't deliver enough flavor or refinement to make up for its size. By the time dessert was offered, we had no interest in spending more money after being disappointed by the appetizers, salads, and entrées. The beautiful historic home, atmosphere, and front-porch dining remain fantastic. Sadly, the food and overall experience no longer lived up to that wonderful setting. Our first visit was mind-blowing. This visit ensured that we won't return. Unless a massive sign appears out front announcing new management, a new chef, new staff, and an entirely new everything, we will spend our future anniversary dinners elsewhere.
