The arcade, beach and pools were ok. They have an adult only pool and a family pool. You can drink at the 21 and up pool but you can't smoke(weird). The beach break cafe was ok but waitresses are wonderful. Went to the bar a few times at the smoking casino floor, and was blatantly ignored every time. The ladies at the bar on non smoking casino floor were awesome, made a great drink and took care of us quickly .Clearly housekeeping does a half ass job cleaning. Found an opened cookie bag behind the stained to death tv dresser and a hanger between the mattress and headboard. Saw plenty of mounting tape on the wall in our room of the "newly re-done" tower. Out of 6 elevators only 1 works st a time, the line to get on was ridiculous every time . If you go to Starbucks, they make delicious drinks but please don't be in a hurry to get where u need to go. I do recommend pin up pizza and smash burger, their food is pretty good . Do not spend the $10 per day for valet. The parking lot is so close to the hotel that it's a very short walk. All in all not the worst hotel I've been to but cleaning needs to take it up a few notches and staff really needs to pick up the pace. I checked in and went to my room and unpacked. Several hour later went to take a shower and found this, (see photo). I was told by the front desk staff later, (since they never answer the phone) on MANY attempts that they would have change my room.. After I totally UNPACKED???? The next morning the water was off in the ENTIRE BUILDING for over six hours. The ice machine on my floor didn't work for the entire week I stayed there despite my informing them on the first day of my stay. The cable TV was out for over 24 hours. For all these troubles them compensated me for two days of their "Resort Fee". They either need more staff or better hiring practices. read more

First time staying at Harrah's and will be the last. I worked in hospitality myself so I was disappointed in management as it was a holiday weekend and upon arrival they had only two @ front desk . Finally a third came on. Should have been a full crew to expedite check in. Elevator wait times are pretty bad so we took the stairs on multiple occasions. Not for the faint of heart. And going to the river is pretty much a joke. Hardly any signage to direct you and the stairs my god too many. River was great but they need a simple wash off station for your sandy feet. Saw signage for recycling however no bins to do so anywhere. The old place needs a facelift with some minor conveniences put in place. Staff nice considering they have to put up with poor management and disarray. Enjoying the beach area was wonderful even though it was crowded. However, you have to walk to pool area to use a restroom. Ridiculous. They need restrooms available closer to River. read more

Let's start with the word luxury. Apparently they do not know the meaning of that word at all. I paid for a luxury king room with a river view. All I see is a parking lot and a dirt mound, not to mention the old, outdated, dusty furnishings. And don't get me started on the musty smell that hit me as soon as I walked in. I called to ask about switching rooms and have been told this is a newly remodeled room and is what I paid for and cannot be moved. I expect so much better for $350 for 2 nights. Would also like to add that I've stayed here twice before, in the same tower and my room was so much nicer. So much for my husband's birthday weekend n a "luxury" king room. My family and I arrived on August 8, 2025 around 10:45 PM, expecting a clean, safe, and comfortable experience for the $300+ I prepaid for our room. What we encountered was appalling. Upon entering our assigned room, we were shocked to find: * Dried blood on the nightstand and on the carpet between the beds (photos attached). * A glass dresser top that was dirty and sticky with an unknown white residue. * A foul, lingering odor in the room. * Writing/marks on the walls, sticky and grimy handprints on doors, heavily scratched and sticky furniture, and poorly maintained baseboards and carpet. The presence of dried blood in particular is beyond unacceptable -- it raises serious concerns about the cleanliness, safety, and sanitation protocols of your property. When I brought this to the front desk's attention, I was given a new room key. Embarrassingly, when my family and I tried to enter the second room, we discovered it was already occupied. This not only caused unnecessary humiliation but also presented a serious security and safety breach. I returned to the desk yet again -- now for the third time in under an hour -- to be assigned another room. By this point, my 10-year-old daughter and I had been forced to drag our belongings around the property late at night, completely ruining the start of our family getaway. For this appalling experience, I was offered only a $47 resort fee refund -- a token gesture that frankly felt insulting given the distress, inconvenience, and clear health and safety violations. This experience was not only inconvenient but deeply unsettling. I have attached multiple photos documenting the unacceptable conditions. I am a handicapped 79 year old senior! I asked for a handicapped This room is definitely not one! First bathroom has the most slippery tile the shower you had to step up a 5 inch lip. The shower head not adjustable and was so hard to handle. Hard to move around room I small and the beds were so high I had to use my suitcase just to get in and out of bed! Room had a bad musky smell. Bed frame broken & mattress ended up partially on the floor. Bed sheets smelled of mildew. Nasty stains on the bedding. Lines for the elevator were ridiculously long. Only place open late for food is Smashburger. Great burgers but better be ready to wait over an hour if you go after 9 PM. Food places need to learn how to properly stock food items & be ready for busy weekends. Starbucks was out of almost all breakfast items on Saturday morning. read more

I hate to write this, but I will never go to a concert at this venue ever again. When we first got there parking was a disaster with no direction whatsoever. It was a free for all. Once we parked and tried to figure out where the line was we were getting yelled at to move due to buses, so we lost our place in line and ended up even further than we were initially. This line wrapped around itself around the building, there was no designated area for it. If you guys are going to have big names, you need more staff and more organization. Misleading and Disrespectful Experience We drove over 400 miles to Harrah's Laughlin, specifically for the adults-only pool. That was the only reason we booked this hotel. Day one was fine--we spent it off-site with friends. But day two? Completely ruined. A child pooped in the family pool, and instead of closing it and handling the situation properly, Harrah's let kids into the adults-only pool. So much for a kid-free experience. We called to complain--first they said security would come (never did). Second time, I was left on hold for over 30 minutes with no answer. When I went to the front desk, I explained everything calmly, and another employee jumped in, got defensive, and said, "I'm not gonna argue with you." Seriously? Eventually, a manager refunded the resort fees. But that doesn't fix the fact that our day--and trip--was ruined. If you're looking for a relaxing, adults-only stay, do not book here. Harrah's clearly doesn't care about the experience they advertise. And let's be honest--kids don't spend money. read more

It's really unbelievable how downhill Harrah's Laughlin has gone. I've been coming here for 30 years and unless they tear this place down and redo it, I can honestly say I will never stay here again. Room #1 disgusting. Had throw up and "bodily fluids" on the furniture. Room #2 blood on the bed. Room #3 air conditioning not working. Room #4 it was now 2 AM and we are tired of moving so we settled in a beat up room only because the air conditioning was working. I could go on about all the disgusting things, but if you read all the previous reviews, I can say they are true. It's really unfortunate it has come to them needing to get a wrecking ball to tear this place down. We recently stayed here four nights. We've stayed here many times before and usually get stuck in the non renovated central tower rooms, so it was a treat to get a refurbished north tower room. The revamp isn't much, but the bedroom does appear updated and the shower is way better. The river view was also great. Beds were good too. Our friends had a top floor suite in the north tower and it as nice, great living room area with a wet bar and couches and loungers. The casino is a decent size, lots of options. They do need more l/newer video poker machines. They also need to PAYOUT! We never win here, but we did win at Tropicana. Lots of good options on property. Guy Fieris Mexican place is great. Smashburger, Cinnabon, Pin Up Pizza etc all good stuff. Service as hit or miss. Most drink servers were great, some were not. Free shuttle back and forth from Tropicana is nice but needs to run more often. The pool area looks nice but we never went. The new Lounge is blah. Gift shop is big and has some fun things. Arcade is big and has lots of games. read more

So sad..this place has really gone down hill, it used to be the best Hotel/Casino on the river..but where do I start..hubby and I stayed for several days in North Tower (never again), sink stopped up, frig broken took several hrs to get a replacement, a/c is trash, 119 degrees heat, sweated all night and felt like I was going to have a panic attach cus couldn't breath, elevators trash..expect huge line and about 15 to 20 min wait just to get to your room, room not cleaned well, had to sanitize whole room when we got there, when you call the front desk you ll never be able to reach anyone, you ll have to stay on hold for a VERY long time. And..hey Harrah s just a thought why don't you monitor the beach access, so your paying guests (who have actually paid the resort fee) can enjoy it in peace, instead of everyone (and their families) from the surrounding areas don't overwhelm us & squeeze us out of the little shade that is actually there and rob us of a relaxing experience. This place is totally understaffed, and by people who seem like they hate being there too. FYI they do allow dogs so they are everywhere. So sad..we used to love it here! This hotel is literally the worst! Housekeeping comes and knocks at your door at 6am (even after the front desk asks upon check in if you would like housekeeping and you answer no thank you). THEN, a super loud speaker goes off EVERYDAY at 12 noon announcing they will be testing the intercoms. The elevator doors are also affected by this daily "test" and they all close. The tub was clogged up with wads of hair and white build up and no one came to clean it! It was honestly so disgusting. read more

Check in was easy and that was probably the best thing about our stay. The casino is small and not that exciting. The rooms are super old, outdated, and dirty. Bathroom kinda gross and the beds not comfortable whatsoever. Things were broken in our room, like multiple drawers. Stayed at Harrah's Laughlin and had one of the worst customer service experiences I've had at a hotel. Around 1:30 AM, we started having an issue with our room sink -- black debris was coming up from the drain and water was pooling underneath the sink. We placed a towel down to contain the leak and called for assistance. An engineering staff member named Daniel came up, but he didn't resolve the issue and simply said the drain was "slow." When we pointed out the water under the sink, he claimed it was from him working on it, even though it was clearly already there. After the problem continued, we had to call again. This time, an engineering supervisor named Ralph came up and told us the issue hadn't been fixed because Daniel had been using a broken plunger. Ralph said he fixed the problem, but after he left, the drain was still clogged. I even recorded video evidence showing it wasn't resolved. We then contacted the front desk asking to be moved rooms, given the ongoing plumbing issue in the middle of the night. Front desk staff Rachel and manager Marina refused to accommodate us and only offered a smoking room, despite my wife explaining she has allergies. We requested to escalate the situation to a 24-hour manager on duty or the hotel director since no one was willing to help us, but that request was denied. We were told that, in their view, this was "not an emergency," which made the situation even more frustrating given the conditions in our room. To make matters worse, when we initially called the front desk, Marina hung up on us. She later claimed the call "dropped," but made no effort to call us back, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. During our attempt to get help, staff even threatened to call security, claiming we were being hostile. This was surprising and upsetting, especially since we remained calm, recorded our interaction, and repeatedly asked politely to speak with a higher-level manager. Overall, the lack of urgency, poor communication, refusal to escalate, and unwillingness to reasonably accommodate us made this a very frustrating experience. For a hotel of this size, especially under the Caesars brand, this level of service is unacceptable. read more

Stayed in the Central Tower in a patio king size room. The room needs a complete renovation. The lamp shades were falling apart, the chair in the room has seen better days, furniture is all scuffed up. The cleanliness of the room could have been better. It took forever for the hot water in the shower, but once it did get hot, it was plentiful with good water pressure. The amenities weren't great....we had to ask for more toilet paper and tissues on our first day. The casino was nice. There is a non-smoking side, and a smoking side which helps keep things separated. The food court doesn't have a huge selection, but it's something. Harrah's is located on the top of the hill, so you either have to take the water taxi to the other waterfront casinos or drive down the hill to them. It is too far of a walk. We had received a 2-night comp, which is why we stayed here. Would I stay again....only if we received another comp. read more

Don't make the mistake of staying here. The remote for the bedroom tv didn't work, guess what no batteries in the remote. Reported to the front desk but nothing. They said they would send someone but they brought towels. You want your room cleaned while staying here? Better opt in for that service which is not something they tell you at check in. Sorry it's too late now. You should have opted in earlier. Guess I'll clean my own room. Trash is piled high so either live with the trash or clean it myself. Are you expecting to have body wash, conditioner, or shampoo. Sorry. Those are all empty and even after we asked the front desk to fill them, nothing. I also got a players card while I was here. Guess what? It doesn't work in any of the machines so I gave that back to them. Concierge? Don't bother. They are useless. Once again, don't make the mistake of staying here. I would love to give it five stars but had a few setbacks during our stay. First issue was I paid to upgrade to a suite with a river view but the view wasn't that great. I could see the river but it wasn't what it looked like in the picture they posted. I mostly saw a dirt lot next to the hotel with some old broken down building. Second issue was the biggest reason I wanted to stay there was the beach and it was closed all weekend because of a storm on Thursday. I kept asking the front desk if they were going to reopen but they said they couldn't get ahold of the manager to find out. I realize they don't control the weather but to keep guests happy they should have worked to get the beach open as soon as possible. I heard other guests voice the disappointment about this as well. Another issue was every time I wanted to talk to the front desk I had to walk down because they wouldn't answer the phone! Positives were the Range Restaurant and the Beach Cafe for dining. The pool was nice too and the bar by the pool was serving great drinks. I will try again in the future and hopefully the beach will be open. read more

We chose Harrah's Laughlin to celebrate our 10-year anniversary, expecting a special and memorable experience. Unfortunately, this marks the second time we have been displaced from a confirmed premium reservation at this property--and this time was even more disappointing. Months in advance, we booked top-floor, riverfront rooms in the adults-only South Tower. Upon arrival, we were told our room was occupied by a "high roller" and asked to return hours later. When we did, we were informed that our room had been reassigned again to another high-value guest. We were ultimately placed in one of the lowest-tier rooms in the hotel--no river view, noisy, and in poor condition--without any meaningful compensation or resolution. While one front desk associate was empathetic, management was dismissive and unwilling to assist. We understand that casinos prioritize high rollers, but displacing confirmed reservations--especially repeat guests celebrating a milestone--without accountability or recovery is unacceptable. Loyalty clearly holds little value here. This experience has caused us to seriously reconsider staying with Harrah's or other Caesars properties in the future. read more

I am being generous with 3 stars as all the staff we interacted with were friendly & helpful. We arrived about noon & were given our room cards but told our luggage would take at least 3 hours to be delivered. We were told that if we wanted housekeeping, we had to go to the front desk, which we did. We went to the room on the 12th floor of the North Tower. There was dust on the lamp & the room (which they claimed was renovated 2 years ago) was shabby. We went to Edgewater & played. When we came back, our luggage was in the room. The next morning, my hubby took his shower (regular walk-in with regular shower doors), got dressed & went down for coffee at Starbucks. I started to take my shower when I realized the water was not going down the drain. There was a flat, metal plate where the drain should be. As I continued, the water went over the threshold & into the bathroom. The floors are very shiny & I hoped I wouldn't fall & break a hip. I threw all the dirty towels on the puddle & got dressed. I told my hubby about it & he lifted the plate & there was a blob of more hair than I have on my head. We left for the day & came back to a room that had not been cleaned, so we didn't have enough towels for the next day. Called housekeeping & requested towels & (once again) housekeeping. A gentleman came with towels & I told him about the drain. His reply was "yeah, the housekeepers are lazy". The next day, no housekeeping. Called for towels & the girl on the phone asked if I wanted housekeeping for the rest of our stay. I said, "YES, please". We never got any housekeeping. The mattresses were so old that they collapsed when you sat on the edge of the bed. The first morning, I awoke with the backache of a lifetime. While we were there, I pulled a muscle in my leg & needed a wheelchair to get to the cab stand. The gentleman from security was very nice & refused a tip. We stayed in the South Tower the last time in March of '25. It was a lot better. The hotel has many building problems. The smell of mold by the food strip is overwhelming. I was in the gift shop & old, greasy water fell on my shoulder & stained my top. As for the casino, there are drink girls all over, but the slots are tight. We won't be back. read more

I've reviewed this in the past and somehow it got deleted... This is a tired hotel. I mean, really tired. Caesars Entertainment or whoever the conglomerate is that now owns this property, has definitely gotten their money's worth out of it. The rooms are in desperate need of a remodel and the common areas are crowded and dirty. The family pool is just an afterthought with no towel service, drinks or music. Good luck trying to find a chaise lounge or chair as well. It's the bargain basement of Laughlin hotels and casinos with many comp promotions that adds to the overcrowding of the property. Don't get me wrong, we actually like Caesars and the Harrahs brand, but just not this particular property. If it wasn't the one that had a room available for 4th of July weekend, we would have stayed elsewhere. The on-site beach and arcade lend some family friendliness to the resort, but that's all. The restaurants are mediocre (Guy Fierri's is waaaaayyy overrated and definitely one we won't return to...) but the wait staff are pretty good. A word of advice to Caesars entertainment: you have a gem that just needs to be polished. Take some of your profits and turn this place around... read more

We stayed for 2 nights. We had a regular room and a suite. We were taking a few days to relax, getting away from our everyday reg stress. Our room was very dusty, I'm not sure how long had it being since it was clean! We should not paid regular price for a dusty/dirty room! My granddaughter and I were sneezing a lot; I get very itching, it was NOT relaxing at all to be in a dusty place! I called the front desk 3 times; one to find out about their family/kids pool being very, very cold and about getting our room, and getting towels; You are on hold for a very long time; two of the times I called they never answer! The times I've walked by I noticed they were not very busy; either way they should have staff answering the guests calls! The only time they answer was when I needed to request towels, because they picked up the dirty ones but did not bring clean one, no common sense. read more

I don't understand the negative reviews. It's like going to McDonalds and expected a Gordon Ramsay cooking your your meal. Staff was very nice. Our room was clean and modern ish. Bathroom was from 1975 but who cares. Cinnabon, smashburger, hand made pizza place, fine dining and a place like Dennys. Beach, water taxi to the other casinos, sports book, table games. What else do you want. 4 days 3 nights $300, $10 valet parking. 60% cheaper than Vegas. It's a big win. The bad: very difficult to drink any alcohol. Better off, going to your room and making your own drink and bringing it back down. The food options, absolutely nasty. Smashburger and the beach café, absolutely terrible. The pizza place absolutely garbage. I wasn't in the mood for Mexican food and definitely wasn't gonna spend $400 at the steakhouse. I might've considered after eating at the other three places I wasn't gonna take the chance of spending a lot of money, and have it be equally as terrible. Bring an air fryer and some taquitos, you will be much better off. read more

I love Laughlin and thought I'd try Harrah's for the first time instead of going to Aquarius like I always do. Big mistake. As soon as you walk in the doors you can't breathe. The smoke smell is so heavy and it's hot in the casino. No air flow at all. Plus tons of kids and teenagers all over the casino throwing things and being rude. Oh and don't get me started with all the people walking around with their dogs that are barking at everyone. I'm used to the classiness of Aquarius and this was not even close. Also the ac in our room is in the corner with the air flow facing the hot window. Even with the curtains closed and it on full blast the room won't even cool down. To top it all off the bathroom floor is super slippery so when you get out of the shower you pray you don't slip and fall. I won't be staying here again. read more
