Wanted to give a shout out to Frenchie! When no one else had an answer and told us 'I don't know' . Frenchie went and found a team member that could assist us. She never once said 'I don't know'. I appreciate her due diligence and her customer service skills. French thank you so much for taking care of us..

Spacious and clean.

From escorts checkin to check out we were impressed. Could be the best hotel on the river! Clean and updated rooms. Great restaurants and bars and live entertainment. Affordable prices too!

My view was terrible this time, but overall this is the only place I stay when I'm in town from Vegas. It doesn't have a smoky smell in the room like it does in the casino. The beds are comfortable. The room is spacious. Everything appears to be cleaned. Lots of restaurants downstairs. Lots of bars downstairs. Great view if you get a better room.

Me my wife and my service dog have been here twice. The hotel is great the staff are nice. The Cafe and the server's work hard. This post is for all service dog owners. And mainly the so called owners and dogs. They have a beautiful well kept decomposed granite and greenery area going out to the parking garage. This is where I take my dog for potty. Please be a responsible owner and carry your poop bags to pick up your dogs poop. I got so mad that there was so much poop all around this beautiful walkway that leads to the pool. I'm leaving today and I couldn't take it. I picked up every poop that you all service dog owners have left. You give us a bad reputation and this is why people don't want you at there establishment. It effects us all. From a True Service Dog Owner

This is favorite casino on the strip in Laughlin when it comes to slot machines. They are also probably the most popular with the tourists as well. The table games are always full and higher minimums then other casinos on the strip. They are also have an Outback Steakhouse here, which is the only reliable restaurant in this town. Bathrooms are clean, parking is a nightmare and it's always a good time!

The nasty microwave pancakes........

The cafe had microwave pancakes. Such a waste.... I was so disappointed. Hungover waiting to eat then boom microwave pancakes. Tasted so bad. I recommend not coming to the cafe.

I'll give a 3 Plenty of parking (free) and valet. Bell boys are available- & don't allow you to cart your own stuff to room. Check in seems easy, you can do thru kiosk of in person. I was offered to upgrade to there new rooms for an additional $$ however I did decline. Large accommodated bathroom in lobby. I prefer non smoking hotels because of the reek, but it is what it is. Loads of slots, tables etc. this particular hotel has a cafe, bar , and restaurant inside. 2 desperate towers. Arizona side seems to have musky halls Fated ice, soda machines, and some tlc in those halls. Rooms dated but not bad. Not immaculate clean but not bad Good size did not seem crammed. They do not have charger outlets , only ones you need a regular plug to. Cafe was good, had a wonderful breakfast special for the month (February) Lunch also had a good special. Pool was not in service during our stay however they made accommodations with the edge water. That pool was kind of gross there. Photos show Aquarius pool much more appealing. Overall I'd be back.

Another stain on the same supposedly freshly laundry towel.

I've stayed at the Aquarius many times over the years. Before it was the Aquarius it was the Flamingo. It was quite the place back when it was the Flamingo and even for several years after it became Aquarius. The shine has come off the Aquarius, and I'm not sure I want to stay there again. Two of my brothers and I rode to Laughlin so we could go to a motorcycle run in neighboring Bullhead City Arizona. The main reason for staying at Aquarius was it's affordability, and the fact that I'd stayed there many times before including four nights last spring. Last spring I noticed some changes in the way things were not for the better. Same went for this trip. Check in was the normal nightmare you would expect. Too many people and not enough agents to serve them. Finally we had our rooms . My brother's had one room and I had another. Everything seemed tidy, so I settled into my room. I sat on the edge of the bed and thought to myself oh this does not feel comfortable. After a little relaxation we rode the Bullhead City for some dinner and upon our return is when I noticed the first signs of the crumbling of Aquarius. It has been a long day on motorcycles, approximately 300 miles, to be exact. After a sumptuous dinner it was time for a shower. First thing I noticed was the caulk coming off the corner of the tiles in the shower as well as the fact that the stopper was not in the drain. I quickly figured out why it wasn't in the drain was because the drain didn't do its job very well. Oh well I'll just get clean and get out I thought. As I got out I grabbed one of the bath towels and started to dry myself. It was that time I noticed stains on the towel. It gave me the impression it was never cleaned. I grabbed for another one, and it had a hole in it. Not satisfactory at all. While in my brother's room, they pointed out the peeling wallpaper at the roof level water stains on the ceiling and what appeared to be either blood or red marker on the ceiling. It really seems like the Aquarius is becoming the Motel 6 of Laughlin. If you don't expect much you won't be disappointed

LAUGHLIN's SEMI-MODERN RESORT!! The Aquarius is in the middle of a remodel, much of the casino and resort has been updated and is continuing to modernize. Several of the restaurants, bars, and common areas are crisp and new! Much of the property feels refreshed. The Aquarius has a gift shop, coffee shop (Duet), McDonald's, Subway and several top-notch restaurants. My favorite was the revamped River Rock Pizza. If you're looking for steak or American fare, there's an Outback and Cafe Aquarius. Outside dining tables are available but I'm not sure for which restaurant. The Splash Bar is a fun spot within the resort with a full bar and live music till 2am on select nights. My parents and I visited during their anniversary and there was no pressure to drink. We hit the dance floor and had a great time! Overall, the hotel rooms were solid, they could use a slight touch up but I enjoyed them. The rooms have INCREDIBLE beds, linens, and pillows. I had the best night of sleep while staying here and I didn't want to part from my mattress upon leaving. Housekeeping ensured everything was bright white and clean. The Aquarius asks that guests call housekeeping if they need their beds made or require new towels, this is to conserve water. Remember to tip the Aquarius' incredible hospitality team! The Aquarius is right next to the Colorado River and has sweeping views of the water. You'll find two towers that make up the resort, the California and Arizona towers respectively. I stayed in the Arizona tower and it was quite comfortable. It's near the check-in/concierge desk. Note: Subway is open 24/7 and hotel parking is FREE.

We stayed at the Aquarius Resort & Casino during our stay in Laughlin. My favorite part of this resort is the parking structure. We arrived while it was raining really hard, but the convenience of the parking structure made it easy for us to get to the casino entrance. There are 4 elevators in every floor of the parking structure and there was a 12 ft uncovered walkway between the 1st floor parking structure and casino entrance that we had to run through in the rain which wasn't bad at all. Check-in was fast and easy. The hotel is a bit older but still nice and comfortable enough to enjoy our stay. The 1st floor boasts the largest casino square footage in all of Laughlin, as well as a McDonald's & a Subway that are both open 24 hours. The place was packed, esp since we were there during Valentine's Day weekend. Staff are nice and helpful. Our room was very clean and had a floor to ceiling panoramic window with a stunning view of the strip, desert, and river. I love waking up early in the morning and enjoying that beautiful view through the window. We enjoyed the Riverwalk (a walkway between the back of the hotels and the river's edge), where you can enjoy the view of the river. My only gripe w this hotel is their shower toiletries. The bottles say "squeeze from the sides" but nothing comes out. These were not user friendly shampoo & bodybwash. Laughlin is a very calm, relaxing small town w a very, very chill vibe. If you're looking for the Vegas party vibe w lots of people and crowded streets and lots of traffic everywhere, this place is not for you. Thank you Aquarius Casino Resort for making our visit to Laughlin very special!! It was indeed very, very relaxing!! Absolutely looking forward to coming back here!! Definitely want more of this!!

Line for elevator
Kimberly H.

Only reason the rating is so low, long waits for the elevators to get up most of the time, drain in the shower was terrible, always standing in dirty water, and the drain in the sink was loud and also slow. Otherwise the property is in a great location, casino is great, everyone we encountered as far as employees were friendly and helpful. Not sure I would stay again, hadn't stayed in year and clearly no recent updates. Prices were fair though and the pool is clean.

Found a surprise in our room as soon as we were settling in the room.

Is there access to a beach?

Harrahs and The Avi have their own beach. Aquarius has a gorgeous view from the riverwalk.

Is the pool open this spring?

The pool was open when I was there a few weeks ago, first week in January, so I imagine it'll be open this Spring as well. Better call hotel before booking to make certain.

Is the Aquarius again requiring people to wear masks? I know this requirement was lifted a couple of months ago but was it reinstated?

Masks are required indoors.

Why is this casino haunted?

Hahaha !!!! if only!

Is the zodiac bar still open?

when we went last weekend it was open 24/7

Can you smoke at slot machines in Laughlin?

yes

What happened to the Buffet on Thusxdsy?

there's no longer any Buffet At the Aquarius

Is there an arcade still?

Yes they do. Very small on the 3 rd floor I do believe

Does this hotel have a Gym?

Yes, I have used the Fitness Center many times. There are a few treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bikes, and weights. It is clean, cool, and not crowded most of the time. Workout towels are available and there is a water fountain.

Is there a fee for early check in?

No but when checking in rooms are based on availability. You can always request early check in but it's never guaranteed.

Are there coffee makers in the room?

Yes, there was a coffee maker in our room.

What is there to do other then casinos ? Never been here

We stayed here for an April weekend for a country music concert that was in town…read more I made the reservation in December. The price was very reasonable for one of the newly remodeled king suites in the North Tower. I was able to pay half at booking and the other half at check-in. I got an email the morning of check-in allowing me to bypass the regular check-in process and check in online. I was very disappointed when I arrived to the hotel realizing I had to get in a long line and do the check-in process again even though I already did it and put my credit card down online. What is the point of offering early check-in? The second disappointment was the elevator situation. There are six elevators in the north tower. It appears that all of them are working. However, it was always a long line of people to go up and down. We got to our room, which was spacious and nicely decorated. However, it was not very clean. I had to use Clorox wipes and go over all the surfaces which still had unknown substances on them as well as a buildup of dust. For just being renovated, the room is still very dated. It was mostly cosmetic changes not a true renovation. On the plus side of the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, and the water pressure in the shopper was fantastic. The biggest issue I had during my stay was the lack of maid service. We called down on Saturday morning to advise that we were leaving for the afternoon and would like some fresh towels and our room serviced. When we got back Saturday evening, the only thing that had been done was some new towels were thrown on the couch. The garbage was not removed. Neither was the old towels, and the bed was not made. When I did the online check-in and specifically asked if I would like the room cleaned while I was there and I checked, yes. While we were here, we tried Guy Fieri's Mexican restaurant. It was fantastic. The service was great. It was probably the best guacamole I have ever had. I highly recommend making a reservation. We had reservations at the range steakhouse the next night. It is a nice restaurant but very dated. There are nice views of the river. The stakes were very overpriced for what we were given. The lobster mac & cheese was pretty terrible. Our waitress was very nice and quick though. Check out was easy since I was actually able to do that online and not have to wait in line again. Parking was easy and free.

Day 2: After a long drive, we went to shower, only to find the drain wouldn't work. The front desk said engineering wouldn't be available for 2 hours, so we moved rooms--only to end up in a room where the A/C didn't work at all. Later, we ordered room service and received a confirmation it would arrive within 45 minutes. After waiting over 1.5 hours, we called and were told, "Oops, we forgot your order." We were promised delivery shortly, but after another 45 minutes, nothing arrived. When we finally spoke to a manager (after waiting again), we were told the food had been thrown out because it had been sitting too long. Day 3: In the morning, we discovered a booger on the sheet right where my head had been. We contacted housekeeping and asked for fresh sheets so we could change them ourselves due to lack of trust. After waiting an hour, nothing arrived. When we followed up, we were told housekeeping had already come--but it turned out they were sent to the wrong room. The housekeeping manager dismissed it as "people make mistakes," and the director said we could change the sheets ourselves due to "safety issues." Day 4: At Smashburger, they only had Pepsi and Starry to drink, were almost out of meat, and would only sell single patties. They had only one water left. Day 5: At Cinnabon, the employee didn't ask what we wanted--just said, "You want a Cinnabon?" with no effort at customer service. Day 6: On our last day, my boyfriend developed a severe rash on his legs that has continued to worsen. Throughout the entire stay, every employee we encountered seemed unhappy and rude, as if they didn't want to be there. Customer service was completely nonexistent. We requested multiple times for a manager to call us--every single day--and never received a call back. On our last day, after waiting 45 minutes, we finally spoke to an assistant manager who simply asked, "What would you like me to do about it?" We again requested a call from the hotel manager and still have not received one. This was an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience. We will never return. Don't waste your money staying here.

There were even two recliners in the room which were great. Many of the rooms are occupied full time, but it definitely isn't a shady place. If you are expecting the ambiance of a modern hotel, this is probably not the place for you. Patty is the manager and she went above and beyond for us. We made a few less stops than we anticipated on the way out and were there a half hour before the office opened. Patty showed up early and said our room was ready, so we got settled right away (good luck trying to check in early at a bigger hotel). When making the reservation I included in the comments that we would have 2 sea doo's with us. The message didn't make it to her apparently, but she was very accommodating and showed us where to park the trailer and even showed us the launch ramp and dock which the motel has for guests/residents. We were only supposed to stay overnight, but our truck had some transmission problems as we were leaving town which stranded us for another night. We knew the office was closed on Sunday but my wife went to get the phone number to see if there would be an answer. One of the residents noticed her down there and got ahold of the on site housekeeper, who called Patty. The housekeeper was nice enough to pick Patty up for us! Patty came in on her only day off to help us get back in the room for the night, we sincerely appreciate all the help we got that day from everyone at Shangri La. I decided to make the best out of a bad situation and used their launch ramp to take one of the Sea Doos for an afternoon spin. It was absolutely gorgeous that night and I was a little less stressed about it all. About the launch ramp- In the morning when we were there the water level was low enough that the ramp is not usable until 0930-1000 when more water is released from the dam. For the rest of the day it is fine. If you are planning on coming with a boat or jet ski's, look at the satellite view of the ramp, it has some tricky turns and a long narrow ramp. A boat longer than 18' or so would take a short wheelbase tow vehicle and some tricky maneuvering to make it. The first day I didn't know about the water level changes and just drove to the city operated launch ramp and set up on the beach out there. It cost $25 to launch there and the ramp was pretty busy, which makes Shangri La even more of a value! We WILL be back again.

I'd chosen the Trop because of its Caesar's Resorts affiliation- I've previously stayed at Caesar's Palace, Paris, the Flamingo¹ and was reasonably confident that the Trop would suitably reward my good faith. ¹ I stayed at the Flamingo Hilton, where Elvis Presley once pioneered the entire "artist in residency" format, in the summer of 1994. Bill Clinton sat in the Oval, prior to staining Monica's blue dress; gas was $1.21/g and our rooms cost only $21/night. As it turns out, my faith was repeatedly challenged throughout this getaway weekender that was more "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" mini-vacay turned amok than "Roman Holiday." Lemme, your disheveled but faithful correspondent, recount the ways our expectations were steadily torpedoed: Musical rooms - We changed our room three times in the first 18 hours! We pivoted from room #1 because it lacked the in-suite fridge that this diabetic requires (and had pre-paid for on Expedia). Room #2 was just fine...'til I discovered an awful flood on the bathroom and carpeted hall floors due to... Nasty Plumbing - The toilet scarcely, lazily flushed mere deposits of the watery variety and the bathroom sink failed to drain. Until 1am, when I sleepily traipsed to the bathroom then nearly slipped and fell on the floor, deluged with black, stinky effluence that had apparently disgorged itself from the pipes underneath the sink! Vending Machines from Hell - Several vending machines, ranging from ICE VENDING MACHINES to soda dispensers and even one proudly peddling the Cake Boss Buddy Valastro's famous cakes were all marked with glum "Out of Order" signs. Tight w/ Blankets - The hotel withholds blankets. The beds are dressed with nothing but sheets and a very thin comforter. We hadta request two extra blankets from the housekeeping staff. Not all of our stay was an abject failure. -On-site restaurants include Guy Fieri's "Burro Borracho," (Nacho Average Taco Joint, the poster proclaims) the Brew Brothers and Carnegie's where we enjoyed a "Buy One Full Price, Get 2nd for $1" special on dinner. -The plantation shutters are a nice, whimsical touch in a chain whose rooms lurch from contemporary furniture (good!) to hideous popcorned ceilings ("Three's Company" demands it's set back!) Pro Tip- We did not realize til our arrival that the Tropicana actually is perched ACROSS (CASINO DRIVE) from the Colorado River- Most of its competitor venues like Riverside, Edgewater, Aquarius directly abut the mighty river. AVAIL YOURSELF of the oft-running River Taxi to use the private beach at sister property Harrah's Laughlin Resort! Assistant Hotel Manager Sache "Renae" Mark's deserves plaudits for resolving our complaint to our satisfaction. Renae not only graciously stayed a few minutes beyond her appointed shift departure time to help us, but slashed 30% offve our bill as a token of good will for our plumbing fiasco. Renae's nimble problem solving skills not only warmed our hearts but, by the skin on its teeth, boosted my appraisal from two to three stars.

(6 months preggo…read moreand 3 very opinionated teens) When we walked into the lobby it was very clean, of course it smelled like smoke, its a casino for gods sake! Not super overwhelming like others had mentioned. The room and bathroom were surprisingly clean and very roomy! There was no hair left laying around in the bathroom as previously mentioned in other posts. The water pressure in the shower was great, however the shower head was very low. My husband had to squat just to get wet. The toilet was also very low which was a little weird to me. The room came with an iron, ironing board and a blow dryer. Our end table did have an issue with the drawer, it kept opening but it wasn't a deal breaker!! I just so happened to have tape and that did the trick. The temperature knob in our mini fridge was missing so it took us a while to figure out how to make it cooler. The ac kept the room nice and cool but it was very loud, sounded like it was struggling big time. They had a smart TV, we were able to access netflix, amazin prime and another service (i cant remember) The arcade was decent but was prob better for smaller kids. Our kids still enjoyed it. The family pool was beautiful with plenty of sitting areas. It was about 90 something degrees when we went but the water was too cold for me! The kids and my husband had fun on the slides they had. They don't allow outside food or drinks but they had a little bar/snack shack. We did have to pay an additional 15$ for an extra pool wristband. 4 were given for a double bed room. The private beach was very cute but we didn't really spend any time there unfortunately. The ice machine was working and was a short distance from our room. We got panda express pretty late in the day, the food was a little sad but it was expected. We were located in the central tower, maybe all the terrible reviews werw from different areas of the hotel? Who knows. Oh, there only seemed to be luggage carts for those who were parking in valet, that part kinda sucked. We were also a ahirt distance from a gas station, Mc donalds, Starbucks and a few grocery markets. Overall we really enjoyed our time there and will def be visiting again.

It is a fun weekend getaway in Laughlin IF you know what you're getting into…read more 1. The casino resort is about 20 miles south of the main Laughlin strip of casinos. It's more secluded and less crowded, which can be a plus or minus depending on what you're looking for. The crowd tends to be older and calm. It's relaxing and not a party vibe. 2. The casino is VERY smoky and if you stay in the hotel here, the smoke is in the corridors too. There ventilation needs to be improved. Also the casino entrance is an open atrium that leads to the hotel hallways upstairs which adds to the smoke everywhere. 3. The pool and beach is very nice and chill. There's a bigger pool for families and kids and a separate pool hot tub section for adults alone. The pool is not heated so it's too cold to swim in the winter months but the hot tub is nice. 4. The rooms are nothing special but they're clean and do its job. The housekeeping was interesting as they did come and clean the bathroom and refill the toiletries, but the beds were sloppily made and the pillows simply thrown at the headboard. 5. Service at check in and at the restaurants were fine. The service at Mojave Coffee was great. 6. The casino is a good size with mostly a lot machines and electronic games. 7. There is a movie theater on site and an arcade which is good for kids. Bottom line: it's a fun place to get away if you know what to expect. It's good for casual gambling, laying by the pool, and a no frills yet fun experience.
