Lobby/Common Area Clean & Bright  Dining area - clean and plenty of seating All entrance ways are doubled door sally port.  Must be due to keeping the interior cool during the summer months. Food Service- spacious and clean.  2 types of waffle makers ( mini 4 or 1 whole ).  Only negative is the coffee stations were out by the front desk and not in the food Service area. Outside perimeter Clean and well kept.  West exterior door does not accept digital card. There is a patio in front of the hotel with 2 Propane Grills.  Plenty of seating to have gathering. Staff Front Desk Staff SAT, 29MAR 7PM FD was cheerful and quite inviting.  She filled me in on the breakfast schedule.   Only negative, did not offer me my water and snack, but I did not care. Housekeeping Staff NA Food Staff- SUN 30MAR, Debbie was helpful and informative.  She help me locate a condiments .  Staff is constantly checking quality of food available and cleaning. Shuttle Driver NA Room 109 2 QB clean and comfortable.  The bath towels are amazingly soft Food SUN - turkey sausage, Yukon Potatos and scrambled eggs.  Really lacking flavor....needed hot sauce. Gym/Pool Gym is clean and well stocked Guest Laundry You will need an app to pay for wash and dry... $4 and 30 minutes each. There is only one set of washer and dryers. I'm a HI fan - I like the bedding and the breakfasts. We pulled in here at 9 pm, having decided last minute to stop. Since the Hilton site was glitchy I made the reservation on Hotels.com. Being a Hilton Honors member, I mentioned that we were HH to Jacinda as we were checking in. She said it didn't matter since we made the reservation on a third party site, so no snack/water bag and she did not attach the stay to our account, which know can be done. I asked her where to park since all of the spots were marked as "clean air" or for Diamond members. She looked at me as if I were stupid and said, "In a spot." I could've done without the attitude from someone who clearly forgot for a moment that she works in hospitality. At any rate, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. John, who checked us out, was really nice. I wouldn't stay here again because of reception we got. There are too many other choices in Needles. Also, the next night we stayed in another Hampton Inn - this time in Santa Fe. Guess what? They were courteous at check in, applied the stay to my Hilton Honors points (even though I had to use Hotels.com again - wifi is spotty in the desert I guess), and gave us a snack bag. read more

The Hampton Inn in Needles is relatively new and possibly one of the cleanest in the area. The lobby is upscale with colorful locally inspired art prints. There is a common area, common computer and work out center on the main floor. There is no pool. The rooms are well equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave and hair dryer. The tv was easy to use. The beds are comfortable with lots of soft down-like pillows. While the hotel is close to a main road, we found the rooms quiet and pleasant. Running the fan on the ac units help drown out any sounds. We had no problem sleeping. The clerks are very friendly and helpful. The morning clerk printed directions to a nearby attraction for us. The breakfast was really good for hotel breakfast. The eggs, scones, potatoes and fruit were perfect for start to the day. There is a small shop to pick up limited assorted snacks and other necessities. Currently, they do not have a liquor license but have applied for one. The parking lot is small but functional. There is a small patio area with grills. Rates were high even with my Honors membership, but worth the comfort. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. read more

A nice oasis after miles of dessert heat and traffic. The hotel is a mile into needles. Nice modern and clean. We got in around 6:30 pm checked in no problem. Staff (counter lady) was efficient and cool...Room was cool (Ac already going before we got in) room was clean and they even have a microwave ( very handy when living out of suitcase) ..parking was all mostly right infront of hotel. The only negative aspects was we had a towel with five holes in it.....yikes!! How did a towel with clearly 5 holes (pic) pass to be put back into room?? Oh and hair above the bathroom faucet Everything else was "on it" so I will still give them 4 stars ...somebody must have dropped the ball we all human.. so counting all of GODs blessings and its all good read more

#bucketlisttriplisatony2024 Tony & I arrived at the Hilton about 6pm last night after a gorgeous drive through Arizona from the Grand Canyon to get here. He said he never realized how beautiful Arizona was when he lived here because he mainly worked & stayed home..what a pity! We would have hiked the crap out of Arizona if we had lived here! The views were amazing! This hotel is GORGEOUS!! Everything spick n' Span shiny & New ! I asked the clerk if they just opened. She said it was their year anniversary at Christmas. Beautiful hotel! She immediately recognized us as Diamond members, checked us in and we were in our room rapidly! Definitely would stay here again! Room was Oversized, clean and extremely comfortable! read more

BEWARE: The management is aware that a number of the rooms have TVs that are almost unusable because the guide doesn't match the TV and the major networks are not available. The downloaded guide to your phone has the stations numbered but the remote has no way to enter numbers. These rooms should not be made available. Unbelievable that management will rent these rooms and not advise you. Other than this it's a great hotel with a great breakfast. But beware! read more

We were on a roadtrip to Arizona from Los Angeles so this was a good stopping point with our kiddos. There are cheaper hotels in Needles but if you're looking for something more than a dingy roadside motel this is it. Also the breakfast included with your stay is great. Piping hot coffee in the lobby. Hot items to include omelette, sausage, potatoes, make your own waffles, toast and bagels. Also fresh fruit (apples, bananas), yogurt, cereal, pastries, etc. It was a great way to start the morning and allowed us to hit the road immediately. The hotel is just off the highway so expect road noise n your room. The AC is loud when it kicks on but it works great. The pros: updated and very clean! Super friendly staff. The double queen room had super comfy beds, plenty of hooks and closet space, large bathroom with lots of towels. We were also able to select our own room via the app and I was able to pick a room with no one next to us in either side or above us. Which meant the kids slept in a little longer because it was so quiet. This is in no way a luxury hotel but it checks off all the boxes for a great stay in this price range and hotel star rating. 5 stars for being great in its category. read more

Literally BRAND NEW hotel. I think the receptionist said it is under 3mo's old. There was absolutely zero parking right up against the building, but I actually did not mind it one bit. If you are handicap parking or Diamond (‍) parking is across the Awning & you are actually more protected weather protected going from point a to point b under the Awning. Room was GREAT. Large, clean, comfy. And breakie was really good too. Staff have great recommendations for the area (I went across the parking lot to the pizza place for a really good dinner). Really glad this is here for when I don't want to drive straight thru from Gallup to my CA destination like I normally do when I make this drive several times a year (which is a 13 hrs drive day). The parking was easy, they had amazing free breakfast for an inn & it is self serve & food stays hot. I felt safe after having read the reviews that this place would be okay for a quick stop on the way home. It's less than a year old, but I found this curious since the shower looked dingy and as though it hadn't been kept up over years of use. We still decided to give it a go. At about 9 pm, we heard what sounded like gun shots outside. 4 of them over a bit of time. At 10 pm, someone tripped drunkenly past our door and wretched as though they were throwing up multiple times. My daughter heard what she thought sounded like someone saying 'I can't breathe' during that event. At 11pm, someone brought their barking dog outside and past our room. Earlier in the evening, my son's feet were oddly dirty, so I wiped them with a baby wipe, but 20 minutes and a few paces later, his feet were black! Poor testimony for the carpets. Lamps and surfaces were dusty and I can't imagine it'll get any better with age. Some Hampton Inns are surprisingly well kept. This isn't one of them. Staff was accommodating and friendly. read more

We reserved the hotel to visit a sick relative. The reviews and photos looked good, but we weren't happy with the cleanliness of the hotel. So after driving over 5 hours in 123 degree weather that day we decided to drive home rather than sleep here. The carpets look like they haven't been vacuumed in weeks. They were full of crumbs and enough dust that it was clearly visible on the carpet and the hard floor had dust bunnies and dirt smudges. I think this is why the first room they had given us had a giant bug on the floor as soon as we opened the door. The second room was just as dirty but had no visible bugs. The bathrooms weren't clean either and weren't in good repair (which is strange considering this hotel isn't that old). We lost out on money, but I didn't feel comfortable sleeping here especially with a small child. read more

I stayed here October 12 2023. They took a $100.00 deposit from me and said they would return it when I checked out the next day. I was headed to Pismo Beach for my Mom's funeral. I didn't think about the deposit until I got home to Texas and saw my credit card bill. I called them and was told it was refunded. I called my credit card company and was told it was not refunded. I have called Hampton Inn several times since then. The manager will not return my calls. It is now January 9, 2024 and I still have not heard from them and I am still out of my $100.00 dollars! I can't say enough good things about our experience at this hotel. my only regret is I did not get the name of the wonderful lady at the front desk who helped us. Unbelievably kind and accommodating. She made our day in an otherwise trying day. A week ago we had a fire sweep through our neighborhood and we had to evacuate. I immediately thought of going to the Hampton Inn because it was so close by and I had relatives stay there when they visited. I went inside to ask if they took pets and the clerk readily said yes. I explained our circumstance and she could not have been more sympathetic or helpful. when I explained I had 5 she hesitated maybe a half beat and then said of course they could stay, after all these were extenuating circumstances. We paraded in with my Golden Retriever and two dachshunds, accompanied with a crate holding two cats. The kind lady at the desk was there when we took the dogs out for "walkies" and greeted them with treats and petting. Everyone there was so kind and helpful. And the room! So clean, peaceful, and very cool. It was a testament my over excited animals from all the fire commotion instantly settled down and felt at home there. Even the guests in the hotel were so nice about our pets, one offering to pet sit. All in all, what could have been a very trying time turned into a very pleasant respite. Oh, and the fire missed our house and we were able to return the next morning. So, thank you so very much Hampton Inn for taking such good care of us, and an especial thank you to the overwhelming kindness of the lady at the desk. This hotel has some serious shortcomings when cleaning is concerned. The elevator had something in puddles on the floor which at first glance looked like water from perhaps the pool, but there is no pool on the property. When we left the next morning it was still there and folks had stepped in it making the floor in the elevator and outside the area pretty disgusting. I mentioned it to the front staff to no avail. It wasn't cleaned during our visit. It was a hazard. Our room wasn't cleaned well. There was food from past guests under the ac unit, as well as in corners and along baseboards. The shower was dirty as well as the lamps. Everything was dusty and fingerprinted. This 'almost new' hotel is showing signs of shabbiness already. The area is kind of run down and the interstate makes for loud nights. I stayed at another Hampton the night before which was much nicer and cleaner. I won't be returning. read more
