I don't even know where to start?! I will have lived here 1 year come Oct 1st 2023. The staff is "awesome" or should I say carefully crafted to whom they share their "old school" down to earth charm w/. People can say how they feel good or bad. Maybe they were having a bad day?! But, out of 90% of the reviews that I have personally read. There are "on the road" they are taking face value and feel no need to experience the laid back easy going "resort" that it clearly is!! Ofcourse we have bumps and bruises and are in need of a little cosmetic beautification. People come from all walks of life. One man's trashy is another's man's trendy (?) I will close with this; Rosie God love her was the real deal and "Marcy" the new manager is a real joy. I couldn't be happier. God willing and of course (John Fender) willing. Fender's accommodated me for a last-minute truck-camping site, and could not have been more hospitable and accommodating . This is a great spot. Right on the river, there's shady lounge chairs and tables, showers, laundry. I really like that it still has a little bit of funky left to it, but it's all complete. There's a motel also, in the process of being improved. Will stay again! read more

This is my go to RV Park on my way to Arizona. Since the last time I was here, they have bought the RV park next to them which has a boat launch, sandy Beach, pet beach and awesome views of the Colorado River. The staff at Fenders, Tiffany and Nicole are super friendly and made us feel like family. My experience with the long stay residents was very positive and friendly. The 50% Passport America rate was great. I would recommend staying here. read more

The owner and receptionists is a very nice lady. I told her that I wanted to make sure that we will check into the room we reserved. I reserved the top floor end room with a patio deck. I was told that room was reserved and occupied by someone else. Room number 3 that we were assigned is a dump. It is nothing more that a fishing shack. The door handle is ready to come off. The door experienced a crowbar entry at some point. The room reeked of mildew.. After seeing the room, I told her, that room 3 is not the room we reserved and cannot stay in that room and why. She was very nice and refunded our money. read more

From the moment I arrived, Tiffany from the office has been more than accommodating, at times over accommodating making us happy we chose Fender's. The maintenance guy and the groundskeeper, I think his name is Wes, was very polite very kind and very helpful. The communal bathrooms are always well kept as well as the laundry room. They even provide you with an ironing board and iron and a fan for those who need to iron clothes. The River as always is refreshing and beautiful location adds to the beauty of this place. Thanks Tiffany and Wes for making our stay memorable.I will make this place somewhere I come back to every time I'm in the area. The Wi-Fi signal however is terrible, buffering constantly which led to me having to go get my own Wi-Fi so that's something they could definitely work on. The only reason I'm reading it in five star is because of the staff that is so friendly helpful and a blast be around. I will never forget you guys and thank you for everything truly! read more

well fenders was hit in a fire in July so the place is red tagged But they are still renting out there small motels Remember it is red tagged so they must have removed the RED TAGS It is unsafe to be in the buildings because of the fire which the Fire dept and or the City of Needles has decided it is unsafe for people to stay there So if you are considering to stay at fenders they will take your money and allow you to stay there. Which is breaking the law you could be arrested for staying there. Why they decided to remove the red tags is between Fenders and the city. Folks it is unsafe and they have been trying to cover it up. Bottom line do not waste your money because it is unsafe. Do not get caught up in the process of trying to get your money back. Stayed in our RV over Memorial Day and had the best time. Great boat launch friendly check in staff and great RV sites. The WiFi was actually very good and we were able to stream movies in the RV without lag! Can't recommend Fenders enough and looking forward to our next trip! read more

We stopped here on our travels for the night. We had NO problems with services or utilities. We camped right next to the river in a beautiful quiet spot. Other than a little music from another guest (not bad), the only sounds were vehicles in the distance and the sounds of birds in the morning. The staff was VERY friendly and kind. read more

Not sure what to say first... If your looking for the amenities of sauna and pool (beach area does not exist either), they are under construction (how long?) Resort or Park is a stretch, a lot of work to be done here for that description. In general, I would have to pass on coming here again. Staff are very friendly and helpful, liked them all. As a stop over for a night the price is right, for a getaway vacation spot or for a week, keep driving... If it gets cleaned up, it would be Jem in the heart of the desert. read more

Quaint and gravely, but the best view if you get a site along the river. We experienced beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and the friendliest bunch of people you can hope to meet. We will definitely come back for future visits. It is a short Harley ride to Laughlin, Oatman, or Lake Havasu. read more

Not going back! It's impossible to launch your boat at their boat launch! We had to take the boat to another resort and pay to launch! We were promised sites that we didn't get. There's broken down vehicles in the parking area. There were cockroaches, ants and dog poop! We were wondering why the rates were so cheep. Now we know! read more

The trees are not trimmed and when the wind blows large tree limbs damage the Rvs . Then she has her workers pull the branches off your Rvs doing more damage then the branches falling on it. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. This resort came highly recommend, however we had SERIOUS issues. First the staff booked us for one day not two, although we verbally confirmed when we made the reservation. Then when they realized the mistake, they denied they they had made a mistake and told us and our three children to leave the room. So we packed up and went to the beach to try and salvage our day. They came to the beach to get our key and got into a verbal altercation with my boyfriend. They were RUDE and disrespectful. They offered us NOTHING for THEIR mistake. Then they kicked us off their property in the middle of the day with my children in the water. I will never be back. I have NEVER been treated with such blatant disrespect and lack of regard. Very disappointed. read more

Just got back home from 4 days at Fenders. Been staying here for years, whether it's camping in our trailer, or staying in one of the rooms, it is by far our favorite place on the water. It's super clean, the staff is always super friendly & accomodating, and you always feel like family when you're there. Beware of negative Yelp reviews! Some people just do not understand camping & river etiquette, and common courtesy, period. Beware. This park looses power ALL THE TIME. Must have a generator if you want to stay at this park or be without power. This park is new ownership, but they have a long road ahead of them to get everything up and running properly and safely for future guest. That includes updating the power. A lot of updates are needed, once theses updates are completed then it should be a nice park. It is a very older park and needs a lot of attention. The pool is not open, was told it needs repairs and should be open sometime soon. The only plus of this park is the River beach access to enjoy a nice swim in the river or go for a boat ride if you bring your own boat. Beware power always goes out and when the power goes out the water is off as well. read more

Wonderful little park with boat ramp to the Colorado River. About one mile away from the interstate and no traffic noise. There are no train tracks near here..yeah! The rate is $14/night with a Passport America card, our $28 if you don't have the card for full hookups, 30 amp service. Rosie the manager is super. She showed us to our site which is gravel and level. Easy to navigate the interior roads. The laundry is huge and spotless. The Wi-Fi is very good, no cable but many over the air channels. The showers and restrooms are clean and up to date. I highly recommend Fender's River Road Resort for an overnight or vacation if you have a boat our wave runners. You can tell the owners and management want to make this park attractive and spotless. We will camp here again when passing this way! read more

The lady at the front will lie to you and say there aren't any available spaces if she doesn't like your vehicle or rv. When I discovered through their website that there were several available spaces, she then informed me that they only let campervans or people camping to stay only one night said it's been a policy for 11 years then said it was because of covid. If your looking for a place to camp with your family for the weekend this isn't the spot. read more

Stopped at Fenders with camper on our first "snow bird" trip to California from Kansas. Enjoyed the stay and Rosie who appreciates Kansas farmers. It's our annual stop and we're on our way right now. Do Not Say Here!!! The electricity is always off and it's been off for up to 5hrs!!!. Regarding the power outages, the manager will not take responsibility if your outside power cord gets damaged. It Will not be replace!!!. There's only one men's restroom and when the toilet is broken there's not another one that can be used. Please reconsider staying here. it's not worth your time or frustration. I stayed there for 4 months and nothing was done. electricity outages happened every day!!!! don't stay there!!!! read more

This little park off historic route 66 along the beautiful Colorado River is a hidden gem. Not big on resort amenities however the place gets a bump for a wonderful staff, its quiet setting and consistent Internet. Bathrooms and laundry on-site were clean and functional. Make room in your day for the nightly sunsets, most every night delivers a spectacular viewing. read more

The room itself is very simple, but expected. The resort is worth every star!! Rosie is the best and made our group feels like home from the minute we stepped in. She was able to accommodate our needs with a big smile. Great location, right by the river, nice ramp and dock, it was perfect for our boats. All the facilities we very clean and well maintained.
