There were some good and definitely bad parts of staying at Desert View RV Resort. I would call it a park. It's close to but you have no view of the Colorado River, like other parks in town. The park is quiet enough (though the neighbors heater roared all night) and easy to navigate. The pull-through sites were long enough (62 ft) and with full hook-ups. There was no one at the office. Two women came up on a golf cart-neither wearing masks. I expected them to put one on when they walked inside but they didn't. We gave our information quickly, signed and got out as fast as possible. I don't get how someone who is in contact with many customers would not care about their health and safety-or even state law. I cannot recommend and would not go back to the park. read more

We ran into a car problem pulling a trailer across the desert and the staff provided us direction to the quality services we needed, the community took care of our dog, and we were able to enjoy the nice accomodations while we waited on our car. A must stop if you pass through Needles!!! read more

This is a beautiful park with some of the friendliest and most helpful people I've ever met! We were headed to the park to camp overnight on our way home to AZ when our tow car broke down on the highway about 35 miles west of Needles. Our car and trailer got towed to a garage about 2 miles from Desert View RV Resort. It was dark so we dry camped in a lot behind the car repair shop that night since our tow vehicle wasn't drivable. The next morning, I called Desert View RV Resort to say we'd be walking over to select a site in the hopes that we could find someone who would tow our trailer to the park. About halfway there Pete, a super guy who we had communicated with the day before about renting a site for the night, came down the road to pick us up. After we selected and paid for a site, Pete said he would be happy to tow our trailer for us, but he had lent his hitch receiver to another couple in need. However, Pete said he had a buddy at the park who he thought would do it. Sure, enough his friend Brad agreed to tow our trailer for us. When we offered to pay him, he said: "just pay if forward." To top it off Georgiana was manning the office the next couple of days while we waited on the car and she also was super kind and helpful. We feel fortunate to have chosen this park and grateful to Pete, Brad and Georgiana for their help. read more

When I arrived it was 115 degrees. First thing I did was connect to the shore power to fire up the AC, but my rig indicated that the power was bad. After a visit to the office, I tried to connecting at another site, but same result, not power. I tried reversing the polarity on my rig, but still got the bad power indicator lights, and I could not start my AC. I went to the office to state that I could not stay there with a dog an no power at115 degree temperature. The woman at the front desk said the power issue was my problem, and that they would not refund my reservation. On the verge of a heat stroke, I left, drove to Barstow, and paid $160 for a motel for my dog and myself. While I was there I connected to the motel power and my rig worked as expected. read more

We stayed here for one night in September. The people at check in were very nice. The RV spaces are level and clean with all utility hookups. There is a large concrete pad but no picnic table or grill. I enjoyed the oleander in between all the spaces. The pool area is private and very clean. The water is not heated but it was refreshing on a hot evening. There are showers, including an outdoor shower by the pool. Our service dogs loved the pet park. It was very clean and had some grass, gravel and even a pet bathing area. We would stay here again. read more

What a sweet spot this place is! Out in the midst of the desert is this cute RV park that offers all you need to beat the heat! Spaces are super private with full height hedges & tall trees. Plus they have a pool to cool you off! Oh and the dog park? Super cute -- complete with a real live patch of grass, seats for the humans, and a fire hydrant! What a gem! We stayed for one night on our way to the Grand Canyon, and were pleasantly surprised at this resort. The sites are very private, with tall bushes separating each one. I was able to take a shower in the newly redone bathrooms at the pool house, which were very clean and spacious. We weren't able to swim, but the pool looked very inviting! There was a big laundry room on site, and a cute dog park. I encountered the owner, who was very friendly. And this park was very quiet and clean. I would highly recommend this RV resort! read more

What a pleasant surprise! 8 foot high flowering hedge between each site. Long pull-throughs allowing my 48' of truck and trailer to remain hooked up. It has a pool. The people who work here are very nice. It has WI-FI. ATT is strong. Hot during the day, 96, but drops off to the 60s at night. After passing through the town of Needles we were surprised to settle into the nicest RV resort we have stayed in on this whole trip. read more

We stayed at this park for one night and it was a disappointment. All gravel and hurt my dogs feet. The only place that had grass had a sign that said no poop. They have a lot of monthly and people hang out after 10:00 because it's hot and talk so got no rest. The pool was greenish. Chemicals were off. Won't stay here again. read more

We only stayed overnight here but have to say this is one of the greatest resorts. The couple who run the Resort were very friendly and helpful. It was 107° and we asked for the shadiest spot they had. Traveling in an RV we all know that the sun beating on our rigs just makes it hard to really cool our units down. Each site is bordered by lots of green shrubs and a tree. The sites are large and have a concrete pad for sitting out when it's cool. We didn't use any of the amenities like the showers, laundry, swimming pool but I would say that if they are as clean and well kept as the park grounds are, you won't be disappointed. There is just enough lighting throughout the grounds so you can walk the park at night. Thank you for a good night, we will remember you. read more

Very nice and clean. There is a dog park, a TV wash, dog wash station, as well. The community seemed very comfortable. You can play pool, cook in the kitchen and read many books. I love pool and the kitchen is a first for me ! Such a blast. I recommend going to Javalina coffee shop. read more

They wanted photos of my rig, it's older. Again, no problem, I've done it before with other parks. Then he said "I need proof of your income". WTF? This place was better than we expected. Our baseball team traveled out to Needles to play a baseball tournament on Father's day weekend and most hotels were booked. We decided to pull our trailers and camp out here instead. We were able to get 62 ft pull thru shaded spots right infront of the pool and clubhouse. Our entire team was able to hang out together, swim in the pool and use the clubhouse in the evenings to get together and bbq. The hosts were very nice and accomodating. They came by everyday and ask how are kids were doing and offered their services. We will definitely be staying here again in the future with our baseball team and recommend it to others looking to do the same. It is not on the right although very close, but we actually preferred that. The kids really enjoyed the pool. read more

We stayed 2 nights and was able to secure a site last minute. We were in rear of park and would recommend a site along the side. The manager was outstanding, pet friendly. Pool was very nice and showers were great as well. Let's not forget the long term residents very nice to speak with and very informative & friendly! Plan on staying on our return trip through. Best RV Park in Needles. I love everything about this park, from the cleanliness to great friendly people. Pet are allowed, which if you are a pet lover like I am. This is a plus, and they even have a dog run! So much shade at each camp site to cool you off in the summer time. The pool is my favorite for the hot beautiful days during summer. We stayed overnight. The hostess guided us to the perfect spot, making sure no trees blocked our satellite. Also, she guided us next to the cement pad, so we stepped out onto the cement. The RV was on gravel-it was even and we didn't need our jacks. Each site is surrounded by tall oleanders for privacy and shade. There's a nice dog walking space and pool. Easy return to I40. We drove over five hundred miles in one day Looked for an RV Park. It was after hours when I called the number for this park . They guided me in over the phone to this pristine RV Park. My reservation and payment was done over the phone. I was guided to my lot over the phone. Great customer service!! This park was beautiful with flowers , very private lots with gravel( thankfully ) and a great concrete slab. In the early morning I did our laundry and the place was immaculate! We left before the office opened so I called and was e -mailed my receipt with a discount for my husband being a veteran. There are other parks in the area . I am so glad I found this one on yelp. I highly recommend this RV Resort. We stayed here on our way back from Laughlin. The trees between spaces provided privacy and shade. The people here were very friendly. The amenities were outstanding! The Restroom/Shower/Laundry area was very large and clean. We made some nice friends in the clubhouse. The grounds were well maintained and the pool was sparkling and inviting but we did not have a chance to use it. We definitely need to return here for a longer stay in the future! read more

Stopped here for one night. It was after hours so I had to fill out a form and pick my own site. The first one I picked didn't have the plug for 30 amp. The second had the cable wire cut. Finally got a good one on the third try. The park itself was ok and had a pool, but only had two bathrooms with showers in the pool area. Also, it is seriously hot here, and there is no good place for dogs to do their business. Everything is covered with large gravel that is rough on your pets feet, and the dog run is a fenced off dirt area at the edge of the park. Overall, decent for a night, but you might consider another park if you have pets. read more

What a beautiful park! We planned on staying here for just one night, but we ended up staying for a week. There are tall oleanders in between each site that provide a lot of shade, one of the few rv resorts I've seen that actually have shade and some privacy in between each spot. They have a dog run, a little fenced in area to let your dogs run around, and a lot of people in the park seem to have dogs they walk around, very dog friendly. The community seems very active and friendly, there was a pot luck for St. Patrick's Day which was an awesome surprise. The bathrooms, shower and pool were all very clean and well maintained, we wouldn't have made it through the heat without that pool! Also, there is really pretty landscape around the park with mountains in the distance all around you, needless to say the sunsets here are gorgeous! We will definitely be staying here again. read more

This is our third year here. The owner and his staff are "TOP DRAWER". Bob and Teresa are the kind of people you want to run your resort and make no mistake this is a resort and not a park. The first thing you see is huge palms and rows of flowering shrubs lining each side of your site. Gravel or paved roads.....NO DIRT. heated pool, club house (darts,pool,activities all the time). Even horse shoe pits. Because this resort was built years ago there is no cable so bring your satellite or lock on to the local channels you get through the air. Yes, we have a great pet run this year. My wife and I have a 40 foot Monaco and a full size truck and more than enough space for both of them in my spot. (40 plus pull thru's.) This is one resort, if you stop here you will be back. P.S. they even have late night check -in.....Also easy access to food, casino's in Bullhead city and Laughlin. Oatman, great ghost time. Head a little to the south and find Lake Havasu,with swap meets every Sunday. Guess you can't tell we love it here. Think I might come for an extra month this year...........JP and Andrea read more

Stopped here for one night. Would absolutely stay here again! It was clean and quiet. Plenty of pull through spots. Reasonable price and they offer a Good Sam or Auto Club discount. Arrived after office hours and the hosts were nice enough to open the office for us to pay and get some ice. The next morning, we had an issue with our tow hitch and the gentleman who works here lent us the tools we needed to fix it and was just exceptionally nice and friendly, as was the lady who works here.
