The cabins are cute and accommodating, they have everything you need inside them to enjoy a stay. Full refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishes and more. The balcony views are awesome at night. Pirate Cove is a very cool place where people pull up their boats and hang out all day long. The food is delicious, the salads are yummy, but I love the chicken tenders and french fries. You cannot go wrong with those. They have different options for alcoholic drinks, we chose to get a vodka bucket and it was as fun as it looks! We had some mimosas after the bucket! This is a family friendly place and dogs are also allowed. Looking forward to my next trip back here! Great place to tan, relax, hear great music and see some awesome boats! Some employees were very friendly and helpful, while others weren't welcoming at all. Unfortunately, the rooms were terrible and clearly lacked proper cleaning. The room immediately gave me the heebie-jeebies. There were strands of hair all over the bathroom, the vents were caked with dust, the carpets were filthy, and the walls looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. There was also a strong odor in the room that management appeared to be trying to cover up with an overpowering deodorizer, but it only made the room more unpleasant. The sinks and toilets were dirty, the refrigerator barely stayed cold, and the air conditioner never cooled the room enough to be comfortable. The pool was dirty, overcrowded, and not enjoyable. The drinks were also extremely overpriced--$17 for a drink that definitely wasn't worth the cost. The casino was another disappointment. The amount of cigarette smoke combined with poor ventilation was overwhelming and gave me a headache. One experience that really concerned me involved my 10-year-old nephew. He hurt himself while we were at the pool, and when we asked a staff member for an alcohol pad, we were told they didn't have any. I couldn't understand how a hotel with a pool wouldn't have basic first-aid supplies readily available. After my brother found another employee, we were finally given two alcohol pads, but it shouldn't have taken that much effort. If it had just been my husband and me, we would have packed up and driven the four hours back home or found another hotel. Since we were traveling with our children, we decided to make the best of it. I ended up wiping down the room and bathroom with bleach wipes myself and told the kids to keep their shoes on the entire time because I didn't feel comfortable with the cleanliness of the room. One final thing that made our stay uncomfortable was the number of stares we received for being Black. I can't say what anyone was thinking, but we had several moments that made us feel unwelcome. Overall, this hotel was a huge disappointment and nowhere near worth the price. Between the lack of cleanliness, maintenance issues, poor first-aid preparedness, uncomfortable atmosphere, and overall experience, I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

The park is quiet enough (though the neighbors heater roared all night) and easy to navigate. The pull-through sites were long enough (62 ft) and with full hook-ups. There was no one at the office. Two women came up on a golf cart-neither wearing masks. I expected them to put one on when they walked inside but they didn't. We gave our information quickly, signed and got out as fast as possible. I don't get how someone who is in contact with many customers would not care about their health and safety-or even state law. I cannot recommend and would not go back to the park.

After trying to get to sleep for 2.5 hours, at 12:30, I decided to go downstairs and see if I could get moved to a quieter room. The extremely helpful person at the front desk, told me, yes, she could move me to another room move me to another room but, because the hotel is situated between US 40 and Needles Highway it would not be much quieter. I was very grateful for her honesty and suggestion to stay put. She's the only reason, I gave my review 3 stars, instead of 1 star. After trying to sleep for eight hours, my watch said I had a low sleep score of 43 with only 1:13 of sleep. Why they didn't install any sound insulation for a room, a sidewalk's distance away from a 4 lane highway, is very puzzling. Two words, EAR PLUGS, I'll never leave home without them again.

Upon entering the park, I was told I would have to pay $20 to retrieve my broken boat. I couldn't believe it. I've had to be towed to a launch ramp one time in the past. The compassionate employees at Topock 66 understood my dilemma and let me quickly recover my boat with no charge. I guess they figured I'd already had a bad enough day. No such luck at Needles Marina. So much for common decency. The $20 they made on me that day has lost them the hundreds of dollars I spend there on my two annual trips. Unconscionable.

If you are tired of the screaming kids, drunk loud party animals make your reservations now. Each site is clean with a nicely tree lined park. River front sites available and the rest of the sites are made in steps so you aren't looking at the other coaches butt the entire time your on vacation. You can see the river from all sites. There's a launch, beach, pool, spa, club house and multiple things to do while here. Really glad my sister and I decided to rent the trailer here and spend time with mom and dad in such a relaxing setting. Can't wait to bring husband up with my own rig.
