The main room of the "Suite"
    Hal S.

While the owners were friendly and accommodating, the suite we stayed in was filthy. The bathroom was awful! The bottom of the toilet seat required major cleaning and the shower had hair and what we hope was mud on the floor. The floors in the rooms were sticky! And the shade on the single room alcove was awful, bent and folded, and lets in lots of light at sunrise. The bed had hair in it, too. I did mention to the manager/owner that the housekeeping was not up to par, to which I received a response about how the turnover of housekeepers is a huge problem. I guess I'd recommend management check the rooms before assigning them to guests; at least until they have a stable crew of housekeepers.

    Red Roof Inn: Pet Friendly!
    Laura R.

For a affordable hotel that we had to find last minute with no reservation, Red Roof Inn provided everything we needed. A place to sleep, a parking lot that accommodated a large truck and trailer and a pet friendly room. Customer service was excellent and is what made this Inn stand out. The women at the front desk was very helpful, even let us choose which room we wanted out of what was available. It was important to us that we could see the truck from our window since we had many valuable belongs being transported cross country. Breakfast snacks and coffee were available but definitely not continental like you would find elsewhere. More like pre-packaged muffins and pastries for the road. Still, there were plenty of places to eat within a mile from here, including a restaurant in the parking lot that is also pet friendly LOL. We chose to eat at Jack-in-the Box though since we don't have them where I live and I wanted some of their infamous tacos hehe. The room was clean, had all the basics and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Our cat enjoyed the arrangement as well. AAA discount is available and if you can book online prior to arriving, you may find an even better deal!

Hair pieces left behind bathroom door

Since the Days Inn & Suites didn't work out for my family last night my sister called this hotel that confirmed they had a suite with 3 beds Finally, a place that met our accommodations. The room cost almost $200 for the night and was very unsanitary inside for the price I paid. The room had hardwood floors (NO CARPET). after taking my son a shower his feet were black from the dirty floor. One of the bathrooms had BLACK footprints that were left in the tub which appeared the bathtub was NOT CLEANED. Two pieces of hair were stuck on the bathroom door oh and also the shower curtain was dirty (appears doesn't get changed after every stay) pics are attached. I was in disgust but didn't complain at the time since it was late and my only concern was the toddlers we had with us to finally shower and rest after being in a car for 8 hours. I was extremely tired from the drive and needed rest so didn't mention it to the front desk. For breakfast, all we had for a selection was ding dongs and ho hos. I will never stay at this hotel again.

    Mold
    Kiera P.

The whole place smelt like mold and there was visable mold in the room on all walls and in the bathroom. We found a few beetles so we had to sleep with the lights on. There was a piece of paper near the front desk ( in the same room) taped to a no crossing string that said you could only get a refund for the beetles if you decline before signing for your key card. But the lady at the front desk never mentioned it while checking in. Also, it was way to expensive for the low quality of establishment $98.00 per night for the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

2 days before our visit we decided to read reviews on yelp and we were terrified! (6 months preggo…read moreand 3 very opinionated teens) When we walked into the lobby it was very clean, of course it smelled like smoke, its a casino for gods sake! Not super overwhelming like others had mentioned. The room and bathroom were surprisingly clean and very roomy! There was no hair left laying around in the bathroom as previously mentioned in other posts. The water pressure in the shower was great, however the shower head was very low. My husband had to squat just to get wet. The toilet was also very low which was a little weird to me. The room came with an iron, ironing board and a blow dryer. Our end table did have an issue with the drawer, it kept opening but it wasn't a deal breaker!! I just so happened to have tape and that did the trick. The temperature knob in our mini fridge was missing so it took us a while to figure out how to make it cooler. The ac kept the room nice and cool but it was very loud, sounded like it was struggling big time. They had a smart TV, we were able to access netflix, amazin prime and another service (i cant remember) The arcade was decent but was prob better for smaller kids. Our kids still enjoyed it. The family pool was beautiful with plenty of sitting areas. It was about 90 something degrees when we went but the water was too cold for me! The kids and my husband had fun on the slides they had. They don't allow outside food or drinks but they had a little bar/snack shack. We did have to pay an additional 15$ for an extra pool wristband. 4 were given for a double bed room. The private beach was very cute but we didn't really spend any time there unfortunately. The ice machine was working and was a short distance from our room. We got panda express pretty late in the day, the food was a little sad but it was expected. We were located in the central tower, maybe all the terrible reviews werw from different areas of the hotel? Who knows. Oh, there only seemed to be luggage carts for those who were parking in valet, that part kinda sucked. We were also a ahirt distance from a gas station, Mc donalds, Starbucks and a few grocery markets. Overall we really enjoyed our time there and will def be visiting again.

It is a fun weekend getaway in Laughlin IF you know what you're getting into…read more 1. The casino resort is about 20 miles south of the main Laughlin strip of casinos. It's more secluded and less crowded, which can be a plus or minus depending on what you're looking for. The crowd tends to be older and calm. It's relaxing and not a party vibe. 2. The casino is VERY smoky and if you stay in the hotel here, the smoke is in the corridors too. There ventilation needs to be improved. Also the casino entrance is an open atrium that leads to the hotel hallways upstairs which adds to the smoke everywhere. 3. The pool and beach is very nice and chill. There's a bigger pool for families and kids and a separate pool hot tub section for adults alone. The pool is not heated so it's too cold to swim in the winter months but the hot tub is nice. 4. The rooms are nothing special but they're clean and do its job. The housekeeping was interesting as they did come and clean the bathroom and refill the toiletries, but the beds were sloppily made and the pillows simply thrown at the headboard. 5. Service at check in and at the restaurants were fine. The service at Mojave Coffee was great. 6. The casino is a good size with mostly a lot machines and electronic games. 7. There is a movie theater on site and an arcade which is good for kids. Bottom line: it's a fun place to get away if you know what to expect. It's good for casual gambling, laying by the pool, and a no frills yet fun experience.

Where do I even begin...?!…read more I arrived at the hotel around 10P, found a parking spot and walked to the front office only to find it locked, but with a "night window", which was fine. I rang the bell and a young man came out after a little bit. He had a friendly tone, but gave me a bit of a hassle, since the reservation was made under my supervisor's name, but with my name in the notes, which he didn't bother to check. After getting the key, an actual key with plastic tag, I walked upstairs to my room and was greeted with a stale smell in the room and a blast of hot air, hotter than the outside temperature. I was shocked at the size and cleanliness of the room, but I was here for work and would make it work. I immediately took the bedspread off the bed, as it had stains on the underside and who knows when the last time it had been cleaned. I turned on the AC unit, set it to 68° and it ran cold for a couple minutes, then shut off for a bit before coming on again for a couple minutes and going off. It repeated that cycle all night. To add to the noise, the Interstate is directly behind the building, the railroad track is a couple hundred yards in front of the building and a parade of transients strolled down Route 66 all night. The bed was stiff and all the springs in the mattress groaned every time I moved. The three pillows were nice, except one was completely flat, like an empty pillowcase, one was a plastic pillow and the other was just floppy. The sheets had holes and tears and were not fresh. The furniture was old, mismatched and didn't appear to be able to hold much weight. The microwave is too small to put a paper plate in and the refrigerator smelled like the previous person stored fish In it and left it after they departed. There was only one outlet that was usable and it was hiding beneath the "dresser". And then, there is the bathroom... The shower is tiny, with no lighting and the handle fell off upon touching it. In fact, I wasn't able to get the handle back on, so I left it on the ground. The floor of the shower hasn't been cleaned in a while, with dirt stains all over and rust covering the drain. The sink isn't anchored properly and has been recaulked a few times to keep it attached. The curtain covering the window was torn and the stick holding it up was broken, so it would fall whenever you tried to open or close the window. If you are trying to find a place on Route 66 that hasn't updated since before the Interstate was built, this is your place. If you are hoping for ANY nice amenities at all, look elsewhere. I searched high and low for bugs and thank god I didn't find any, but after looking at my pictures, you may be wondering if I just didn't see them on this visit. One more night here and I don't plan on EVER coming back!
