Room was fine. Bathroom needed some repairs. Place looks like they have made some recent upgrades. The outside needs lots of signage to direct you to rooms, elevator and even the lobby. I drove around the entire place just to find the lobby & still wasn't sure I was in the right place. Discovered the elevator by chance. Employees at night seemed capable enough, but never said a thing. This place has two major company labels/signs on this property. Very confusing! Breakfast was ok. It's off the freeway, which makes it nice easy off or on. Breakfast was nice, had variety of foods to choose from. Had a decent exercise room. Only thing I didn't like was parking and security, need more lights and security lights. read more

Pretty much everything. It's out of date, run down. Shower caulking was almost non-existent. Looked like the door had been jimmied open, the door frame near the lock was bent in towards the wall and you could see light between frame and door. They did have what appeared to be new, nice looking LVL floor tile but I wasn't comfortable doing my exercises on it. I should have read the other reviews first. Actually, I should have just driven through Needles to Arizona. Needles is a sad town, not even one grocery store.q read more

Perfect for an overnight stay. Front desk staff friendly and welcoming and very fast check in. Hotel is on a hill so the views city side would be nice, I had a courtyard/pool view (which was closed at the time, beginning of October, no idea why). Room was large and comfortable. No restaurant on property but you can drive to decent places within minutes. Parking was okay but would likely get full during high season. Short and sweet. read more

SO GROSS and smelled musty. Wow. I didn't have super high standards for this road trip, I just needed a place to sleep. But this was so bad that I had to call the front desk. Unfortunately, the maid had left for the day and there were no other rooms available. I was going to just leave (I was seriously nauseous looking around the room), but I'd been driving 12 hours already, it was nighttime, and the next nearest town was 2 more hours away. In contrast, I stayed in 4 other hotels on my road trip (Holiday Inn Express and similar) that were the same price as this "Quality" Inn, and had no issues with any of them. You can see the grossness in my pictures (and there was more I didn't capture). I was especially mad because the pictures the hotel put on Yelp make it look nice and clean. It technically has the same layout and colors, yes--but like, 50 years older. Those photos are completely inaccurate and misleading. It didn't look like that AT ALL. read more

If I had a choice of where to stay when in Needles, this wouldn't be the place to choose. The front desk clerk was very helpful and I felt bad for her, but as I was waiting in line to check in, multiple customers before me came back from going to their rooms with complaints of the rooms not being cleaned. I unfortunately had the same experience. She mentioned being short staffed on maids. When she was nice enough to switch rooms for me, the new room I was given had stains on the blankets/sheets, stains on the towels, stains on the wall, trash on the chair still, an unclean bathroom sink and just an uneasy feeling of a dirty room. I hope I don't wake up with bed bugs all over. There isn't anything quality about this Quality Inn. A visit from corporate is way passed due. read more

beware of this motel's booking site. their website showed discounts of $76 special for Quality Inn at Needles, CA. but after i went through the reservations and booked it, they charged me $117 per night. then the counter was telling me it was through a third party website, so it is more. But when I checked my credit card, my credit card already showed that it was Quality inn that charged on my card, not a third party site. so beware of the motel website. i would say they lied. read more

We recently stood her for four days with my family and booked the suite. Which is pretty much two rooms in one with three queen beds. Two TVs, His and Her sink and bath tub and toilet separate. Worked perfectly for my family, and there employees are super friendly and willing to help you with all your needs. Also kids loved swimming in the pool even after a long day on the river. Stayed here for the first time Memorial Day weekend, room was nice and tidy, pool was open and clean, staff was friendly and helpful, ev charging station real close by, but the best part of the whole stay was the continental breakfast better than a lot of other places -scrambled eggs -sausage bagels -cream cheese -waffle machines -cereal -coffee dispenser- complementary juice water milk. road trip from Sonoma to Santa Fe. we stayed here on the return trip. room had a weird, though not overbearing, smell no washcloths in bathroom there was a tub with a "shower," which was a hand-held device that kept falling out of the bracket that was meant to hold it. didn't use the pool ice machine on the second floor, not on ground level on the plus side, the bed was comfy and the staff very friendly and helpful. we left before breakfast was served, so can't comment on that nice little "store" in lobby to buy drinks and snacks read more

CLEANEST IN MIDDLE OF NO WHERE! **2016 YELP 100 CA CHALLENGE #4** Had to come out to Needles area for the hubby's smog check & we decided to spend the night out since we were gonna be driving out 2 hours.... just for a smog check... we thought might as well spend the night & explore somewhere we haven't been. I checked all night to find a decent rated hotel around the area & even looked in Laughlin, but the only decent hotel there was was Golden Nugget. Unfortunately they never answered their phone. Looked all around where the smog place was located on google maps & the most FAMILIAR name other than Motel 6 was QUALITY INN. I was a bit skeptical, as all i remember Quality Inn to be was where we used to have motel parties in when we were younger... All in all the lay out is similar to a motel, but they definitely remodeled & made it look clean & MODERN w/ all new paint of vibrant green & blue. The rooms even include a microwave & mini fridge which was AWESOME. I wish i remembered the name of the guy that helped us but he was freaken AMAZING, from when i called for availability to when he prepared the FREE breakfast that they offer!! everyday 6am to 9am WOOT WOOT. They had the BEST waffles that you make yourself fresh in the waffle maker. Fresh fruits & anything a breakfast would include from eggs to mini muffins & fresh fruits. We stayed there from the 1/816 so whoever was working that graveyard shift! We had been driving for hours so we stopped here, we should have kept driving. It was expensive $154 for a night. The smell of something rotting was what first hit us. The second was the amount of flies in the room. Next time we will just pitch a tent in the desert. We should have tried Hampton Inn down the street. read more

I had a reservation at Red Roof in and had to get into a room early because I was having teeth pulled and knew I would be out of it, this is why I was getting a hotel room in the first place. When I got there there was no one there in the office and room door were open and I saw the rooms were bad also the outside had construction going on. I looked for somewhere I could check in at early and found Quility Inn, the gave me a room early and went to my dental appt came back from it which was right down the street and had a wonderful bed to climb into till the next morning where they had a full hot breakfast going on which I could only enjoy a few items because of my teeth being pulled. After two strike outs at two other places this was a hit. Me my wife and our German shepherd needed a room for the night. Quality inn was nice and clean. My wife inspected the room before committing to it and found it to be perfect. We unpacked and got comfortable for the night. I then noticed we had a cricket in our room (not a big deal). As I tried to sleep the ceiling fan kept making a loud knocking noise which annoyed me to no end along with the cricket chirping. Thankfully I had my leatherman with me and all the fan needed was some screw maintenance. (Fan noise gone). The breakfast was great the employees at quality inn where very friendly. This the the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.. Everything is Very Dirty, smells like animal urine, sheets are stained and looks like there is snot on restroom walls. Had to change rooms twice, also no one is at the front desk when needed, breakfast is there behind the counter, but there's a sign that always they will be right back. So, you came to Needles because you wanted to or you had to? This place is not a destination, it's a place you stop to get gas (intestinal or otherwise) and to sleep on your way to the Grand Canyon. I think there is a state prison nearby. Oh? My point: don't expect too much from the Q-Inn in Needles and that's fair for you and setting the bar low for the hotel. Clean: yes. Comfortable: mostly. Extremely loud A\C but it does keep the room cool. Pool hours are late which keeps the screaming coming into your room from the shrieking toddlers. But the hotel will allow your four legged friend (up to two, actually) to stay with you for an extra $10 and notice. Stop here. Stay here. And then head out in the morning refreshed and eager to leave. Bonus: free breakfast. I love the Do-It-Yourself waffle maker. read more

Stopped on our way through town because we are Choicehotel members. The hotel is currently being remodeled so the exterior was a bit of a mess however the room was pleasantly nice and clean. Looks like there are still a lot of touch ups to take care of but overall the remodeled room is very good. They just need to get a better contractor who knows what they are doing so they don't have more problems later on. King size bed with new tv, new paint and carpet is a plus. Once they finish everything the hotel should be very nice. read more

Bed was comfortable and time was plant spacious. However, as for most things one is looking for in a hotel, I dare say I was Not impressed. I always check my bedding before I go down. Glad I did. I never could determine if it was make up or a stain, but one of the pillows definitely did not look clean. I was on the second floor, I was woke up by the floor above me creaking around 10:30 pm when the person up there apparently entered the room and then again this morning about 4:30 when that person apparently got up. I could hear the clicking of their footsteps as they walked across the floor as well as the creaking of the floor. Furthermore, the towels did not seem clean. There were no laundry bags in the room. There was a weird smell radiating from the water in the sink. I had to call to ask for help how to turn on the shower. Apparently, you have to pull AND turn, at the same time- good thing I'm in fair physical condition or there'd be no way I could of turned it on. Oh yeah!- the bathroom door- is that... Toothpaste or soap splattered on there? I washed it right off. That's just the INSIDE! the outside wasnt much better. Needs cleaned and lots of updates. All of that said, the front desk service was great. Ladies were both pleasant and helpful. read more

This place was so bad it deserves a -0 star but that's not an option. First of all we booked through Priceline and it automatically changed my date in the middle of the night and left me and my grown daughter and two small granddaughters without a hotel room in the middle of the night in the middle of the desert. We stopped by the hotel and told them what happened and they said they had no rooms but charged us anyway. BUT after walking into the lobby we would not have stayed there anyway. It was dirty, gross smelling and filled with motorcycle gangs and truck drivers. We should have been given our money back but instead had to drive another 2 hours until 2 am with a sick 3 year old in the backseat crying and pay for another room. Priceline said the hotel would have to refund my money but they refused! The place is awful and disgustingly filthy. DO NOT STAY THERE! read more

I'm not one to write reviews but felt I had to for this one. I was on a road trip with my family and small dogs and decided to stay in Needles last minute. When I called to see if they had a pet friendly room available, their customer service shined. Even though we only stayed one night, their customer service was great! The room was clean, good towels, good bed, the pillows were fluffy and the blankets were also fluffy and warm which made it easy to sleep and rest. They have small fridge, a microwave, and WiFi in the room which is convenient. Oh, and a McDonalds right outside for breakfast! Good experience, I would definitely stay there again. My husband and I were looking for a hotel that would accommodate our pit bull. We got there around 11 pm. The girl at the front counter was very nice. The room was a good size had two queen beds. Everything was very clean. The only issue we had was that when you pulled up on that thing in the shower, it made a VERY loud noise, almost like a chainsaw. So we just pulled it up halfway and was quiet from that point on. I am a very picky person when it comes to hotels and was a little skeptical when we pulled into the parking lot, but it was a pleasant stay I would definitely recommend it. read more
