The hotel room was clean. It has a mini fridge and a desk and chair. A/C worked great. The bed was comfortable and clean. For the price it's a decent room. Jenn and Cassy at registration were great. Stopped by on my way to Kingman arizona to stretch my legs and visit the casino. I've stayed and visited most of the casinos in Laughlin. Harrah's is my favorite. It's also the only resort with a beach. A convenient water taxi will connect you to other river front casinos as well as bullhead airport across the river. I'll definitely return to Harrah's Laughlin Clean facilities, good restaurant options, reasonable prices. read more

Location is great. The beach is amazing. The only thing that's missing at the beach is a place to rinse off before going back indoors. The room furniture can use a bit touching up. More hooks in the bathroom would be useful. Housekeeping staff is very nice. The Pin-Up pizza place stops making pizza over an hour before closing. Doesn't make sense. They should at least have some pizza by the slice until closing. Or post a sign that they stop making pizza at a certain time. One more food option next to Smashburger would be good. Like a rice bowl spot or something that has healthier (gluten free) options. The Range restaurant is nice but only open for dinner. We ordered to-go since they didn't have any reservations until later at night. The arcade is fun. We had an issue with the card. We had points/tickets on the card and when we went to refill it, the points disappeared. Then after a few minutes of playing, the points reappeared, but the money I had refilled disappeared. Our stay at Harrah's was okay overall, but there were a few disappointments. The room itself was decent, but I was expecting a better view of the river. It was a little confusing when booking because I thought I had selected a river view, but apparently there's a difference between a "river view" and a "riverfront" room. That was frustrating, and the view we ended up with wasn't what we had hoped for. They do advertise the private beach like access to the river but the renting of chairs is pricey, as well as other Hotels have access too so they aren't unique for it. Another downside was that the room didn't have a refrigerator, which was pretty inconvenient. On top of that, there were times when only one elevator was working, leading to longer waits than expected. The hotel has potential, but a few improvements and clearer room descriptions would make for a much better guest experience. read more

We stayed at Harrah's from Sunday through Wednesday and purposely booked a premium room in the South Tower because it's advertised as the quieter, more adult-oriented tower. That really wasn't our experience. There were plenty of kids running up and down the halls, so if you're expecting an adults-only atmosphere, that's not what you'll find. Our room also had a strong odor when we checked in. We reported it, and the staff did bring an ozone machine and ran it for a couple of hours. It helped with the original smell, but it left behind a different odor that wasn't much better. The shame of it is that we were charged $14 extra per day for an upgrade i did not requesr but somehow made it onto my bill. One of the main reasons we stay at Harrah's is the beach since we bring our WaveRunner. Just be aware that they charge an outrageous amount ($160) for the shade palapas while also not allowing guests to bring their own shade. It feels like you're forced to rent one if you want any relief from the 120 degree sun. On Sunday the river was absolutely packed. I know it's summertime, but it honestly felt overcrowded to the point of being unsafe. There were a lot of young kids operating WaveRunners that looked far too inexperienced. We left thinking we'd rather spend our time at Lake Mojave next trip. We also had friends staying in the North Tower, and their room looked much worse than ours. That tower felt neglected and badly in need of renovation. I'd definitely avoid the North or Central Towers if you decide to stay here. Even check-in summed up the current state of Harrah's. We used the self-service kiosks, but four out of the five were out of order. Unfortunately, Harrah's seems to be living more on its reputation than the experience it delivers today. Years ago I would have recommended it without hesitation, but after this trip I don't see myself staying here again. Two stars. read more

We stayed here for an April weekend for a country music concert that was in town. I made the reservation in December. The price was very reasonable for one of the newly remodeled king suites in the North Tower. I was able to pay half at booking and the other half at check-in. I got an email the morning of check-in allowing me to bypass the regular check-in process and check in online. I was very disappointed when I arrived to the hotel realizing I had to get in a long line and do the check-in process again even though I already did it and put my credit card down online. What is the point of offering early check-in? The second disappointment was the elevator situation. There are six elevators in the north tower. It appears that all of them are working. However, it was always a long line of people to go up and down. We got to our room, which was spacious and nicely decorated. However, it was not very clean. I had to use Clorox wipes and go over all the surfaces which still had unknown substances on them as well as a buildup of dust. For just being renovated, the room is still very dated. It was mostly cosmetic changes not a true renovation. On the plus side of the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, and the water pressure in the shopper was fantastic. The biggest issue I had during my stay was the lack of maid service. We called down on Saturday morning to advise that we were leaving for the afternoon and would like some fresh towels and our room serviced. When we got back Saturday evening, the only thing that had been done was some new towels were thrown on the couch. The garbage was not removed. Neither was the old towels, and the bed was not made. When I did the online check-in and specifically asked if I would like the room cleaned while I was there and I checked, yes. While we were here, we tried Guy Fieri's Mexican restaurant. It was fantastic. The service was great. It was probably the best guacamole I have ever had. I highly recommend making a reservation. We had reservations at the range steakhouse the next night. It is a nice restaurant but very dated. There are nice views of the river. The stakes were very overpriced for what we were given. The lobster mac & cheese was pretty terrible. Our waitress was very nice and quick though. Check out was easy since I was actually able to do that online and not have to wait in line again. Parking was easy and free. read more

Came here with the Caesers Rewards Air program. Check in was a little frustrating, was offered a room with a view as an upgrade only to be told it wasn't ready but would be in an hour. Came back over 2 hours later and it still wasn't ready. I waited around for about 15 min until the front desk agent put me in a different room. We were in North Tower. Quite a hike from the tables. The room def could use an upgrade and more outlets. I will say the bed was extremely comfortable though and the mountain view was beautiful. The property itself gets the job done. Several restaurants and nice gaming options. I would def come back at the discounted air program rate but would not choose it otherwise. The hotel is also at the end of the strip, we rented a car so we were able to move around but I can't imagine being stuck at Harrahs without transportation. I believe they have a shuttle but it only goes to Tropicana. read more

I had a nightmare of an experience at Harrah's Hotel. Elevator flow was chaotic and inefficient, and customer service was very poor. The rooms because we had 2 for our family and 7 with all families are described as remodel but nothing seems upgraded. The only mirror available is in restrooms and with no fan the mirror stayed foggy. Ac was pretty loud. Restrooms are equipped with Shampoo/conditioner and body wash. We kept finding pincher bugs in our room! We waited 15 minutes for elevator. Wtf how diabolical is that?. The only option depending on who you ask.!!! If you are trying to frequent places out of hotel make sure you have a plan to not return to your room in a hurry because there will be a line pass the pizza place. No structure. The crowd is rude because everyone is pissed about elevators. The lake oh so beautiful but disgustingly infested with flies. By 5pm we were getting attacked by flies of all sizes and $15 16oz pina coladas. Wowzers!! Stayed at the hotel from late Friday until Sunday. July 31-August 2 HOUSEKEEPERS STOLE SPEAKER FROM MY ROOM. Decided to try and save $10 and picked the lottery room and didn't realize this hotel still had smoking rooms. Couldn't change it at reception, they were all sold out. My mistake, smelled like carcinogens in there but we only had one more night there. Go to the beach with my family, have a great time. We come back to the room, I play some music while getting ready on my speaker I brought with me. We notice we left the bed all sandy from the beach and call room service for our sheets to be changed. We leave to dinner with my family for approximately 2 hours. We come back and our towels and our trash are on the hallway outside the door. A lipstick stain that is not mine is on the towel. We think it's strange, walk in and notice the bed has not been touched. Very weird. We decide to clean up and listen to some music before we go back down with my family to gamble. The speaker is gone. THE HOUSEKEEPER STOLE MY SPEAKER. My JBL $150 speaker. Nothing has been done by management. They will look into it and get back to me in a few weeks. Don't stay here. read more

I've already left a bad review and stated that this casino's motto should be " We don't care".. got a response and then never heard anything again. Whatever bot they have responding doesn't exist anywhere. I tried to get in contact with the person who responded and it never worked. We stayed here again hoping the experience would be better and unfortunately it wasn't. A lot of the dealers at the tables are grumpy and old and sad. Cashiers were the same way. If I give this casino stars, its only because of the gambling floor/machines. We had about ten families all meeting together at this casino for the weekend and it first steps in actually, before I even got there, there were problems. My mom got there before I did tried to check into her room. We had free rooms for the whole entire casino towers, both north central and south towers, but we booked north tower because supposedly they were newly renovated. My mom checks in first. Her room was completely filthy and disgusting. There was nail clippings everywhere, open soda bottles, chip bags. The floor was dirty. It was disgusting, they offered to move her to the south tower, but not only did they offer to move her to the south tower. They offered it to her, but also charging her an upgrade fee. I get on the phone and ask them why we're gonna be charged. And upgrade fee when they were the ones that provided a disgusting room and false advertised. And I asked for them to change my room too, because the whole purpose was I have a young son with me. That was going to be watched between myself and my mom. After arguing for a while, they finally agree to let us switch to the south tower no fee. I get there and of course she lied on the phone and tells me that I now had to pay for an upgrade of fee. And it wasn't my room that had the problem. It was my mom's, and I explained to her, I had south tower free, but you false advertised, and we're picking the towers together, and if you're gonna move my moms, you need to move mine and the other two rooms that we had connected. After arguing for some time, they finally allow us to switch towers. Also telling us that now we won't be able to be close together, which made no sense to me. Because if you had us already reserved to stay together and all you did was wave a fee. Why does that make it that we can't stay close together, if it was already reserved that way. I finally check into the room. It was already kind of late. It wasn't until the next morning that I see that one of the rooms had vomit. All over the furniture all over the floor the bathroom was filthy, disgusting. One of the other rooms had a massive, huge blood stain that went down the toilet all the way to the floor and I just couldn't believe that the rooms are like this throughout. I have a one year old son who touches everything, and they had us in this nasty. Dirty room that I didn't even notice had these stains. Until we had already been in there for one night. When we visited other rooms, their rooms were disgusting and filthy. As well, I just don't understand why. The rooms are like this and how it's even sanitary to stay open. I didn't know this was an option, but it was told to me that I should do a health security report. In case we got sick from being in that room with vomit, and actually, I forgot to mention that it looked like there was also blood. And bodily fluids that looked like they came from sexual activity on the furniture, also in that room. After complaining to the front desk, they said. Oh, sorry, we'll go ahead and refund you one night's worth of resort fees and I'm just like, wow. Unbelievable I will absolutely never stay here again. This used to be our favorite hotel. I recently moved to Laughlin, our apartment wasn't quite ready so we decided to have a little "staycation" at Harrah's in Laughlin, and booked two nights. Terrible decision, the experience was bad enough that I'll never stay at another Caesars property again, and I'll be cancelling my rewards AND Caesars reward VISA. This company deserves to fail miserably. Want more? OK! We go to check in, and our room wasn't ready so ... wait. No problem, I'm patient. We ate and gambled, like you do, and were ready to check out when scheduled. The morning of check out, I get a call from Cindy at the front desk AT 8am!!! She is screaming, literally, that I don't have a credit card on file and had a huge balance. I advised her that I presented my Caesars Visa during check in, and had already seen some charges. She argued with me, and treated me like I snuck into the hotel or something. Then security was sent to my room, to "escort me" to the front desk. Unbelievable. No one was willing to look at my statement and see that I had been charged already and that they DID have my credit card on file. They basically treated me like a criminal instead of DIAMOND tier customer. SO, I will do what I can to make it up to them. NO MORE BUSINESS, and let me tell you I SPEND. I hope everyone reads this and AVOIDS Ceasars, especially Harrah's in Laughlin, NV at all cost. I know hospitality isn't what it once was, and this place is determined to prove it. Came here for my birthday we had free rooms they were remodeled. However, there was some dirty stain on my carpet a drink in the fridge. It did not feel clean. They have a burger spot, cinnabon, starbucks then the range steakhouse and guy fier restaurant. We were disappointed that the pizza spot was not open. I would stay here if it was cleaner. I am very disappointed with my stay at Harrah's Laughlin. I paid extra for a river view room, but instead my room overlooked the parking lot and a huge mountain of dirt. That is not the view I paid for, and it felt very misleading. To make matters worse, the room was in poor condition. The cabinets are falling apart, the toilet seat is loose, and the windows are so dirty that they take away from what little view there is. The room feels outdated and not well maintained. For the price I paid, I expected a clean, well-maintained room and the river view that was advertised. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet those expectations. I hope management addresses these issues because guests deserve to receive what they pay for. Based on my experience, I would not choose to stay here again. Because of these issues, I will be going to the front desk to request a refund or a price adjustment. Guests should receive the room quality and view they pay for. I don't recommend this place for the following reasons: -yes they do have a nice beach but you cannot bring shade of any kind. There are some trees you can sit under but it gets crowded. -The elevators are almost always out of service. The elevators from the parking structure to the casino were out so everyone can was struggling to get their luggage down the stairs in the 112 degree sun. They should have put signs at the self parking entrance informing everyone that elevators were down. -North tower had a leak on the 4th floor and the hallway and room had a sewage smell. - Out of 6 elevators only 1 was working in the. STILL A LAUGHLIN FAV! It's no shock that Harrah's has a huge following by both young and old. It's got an assortment of unique dining experiences like Guy Fieri's restaurant and Smashburger. It's also very convenient, having an in-house Starbucks and a private beach for a family-friendly day at the Colorado River. Harrah's has loads of parking and it always feels lively. Parking is free, so don't worry about fees like the ones found in Vegas! My only complaint was that the staff were a little dismissive during this visit. We pulled in when a shuttle bus full of old folks were arriving and they only greeted the old patrons. I felt like they looked right through us and ignored us. read more

What a bummer! Harrah's used to be so nice! And the supervisor of the housekeeping finally took care of our dirty room. This was the second room. Once we were grossed out about the tooth paste on the back wall backsplash area it was hard to unsee! And we felt the room was dirty. The first room was gross. Not even sure what to say was on the dresser nightstand! Desk top dirty. The walls in bathroom is painted purple so the white spit toothpaste is easy to see! Maybe paint it white! But also should be cleaned! We thought it was missing paint but we were able to wash it off ourselves. The room was supposed to be an upgraded room but it still seemed old a the furniture was all scratched up. The concert was excellent but the rest of the area needs improvement. The supervisor did comp one night of the resort fee and my friend asked for both nights and she got testy with her saying she was already doing us a favor. She could have just said sorry this is all I am Able to do instead of snapping. At my friend. We were at the ick stage from The first room And removing a fee that already sucked and we weren't going to use any of the "amenities" that resort fees include anyways. Accepted the offers for comp rooms. My opinion, big mistake. They will put you in the worst rooms they have. Our room , looks like the room that all maintenance and housekeeping forgot about. Bathroom is filthy makes you feel dirty while taking a shower black mold you can see they don't even bother cleaning under the sink vanity area tile in the foot path is clean under vanity is disgusting. You can see maintenance has not been performed in this room forever, air-conditioning was also forgotten about by maintenance room would not cool to a comfortable level hallway was about 20° cooler the entire stay. Overall condition of the building looks like it's fallen apart and Caesars have just kind of let it go. Nothing that was supposed to be available was available. Direction for picking up things like cabanas very confusing. The cost of the cabana versus what you get is not worth it. Do not recommend. We come to places like this to spend money and it makes it very difficult for us to want to spend money and get very little in return. The slot machines are very tight. You should plan on losing whatever money you brought to gamble with if you stay in this casino. We keep coming in hopes things change but no. No, nightlife. We're happy to spend our money and a lot of of it as long as we feel like we're getting what our dollars are worth, we will not come back anymore. And we will never accept any comps. We haven't been to Laughlin in a long time. Came here for a family reunion getaway. The hotel needs a major remodel. The room has the old country type old furniture. The front staff couldn't tell us where to go to check in except for the fact to go downstairs by the pool. We were walking everywhere. We finally found our guy to check us in. The assigned us to a tent. The refrigerator was grossly dirty inside and the floor wasn't clean either. The floor has pebbles and direct in our tent. Not a great way of presentation especially when money is spent for this service. The day before The family pool was closed so all the kids were in the adult pool for the day. Most of the restaurants were closed during the week. No time for relaxation. I'm sad my experience was below average. read more

Arrived at 3pm today Tuesday July 28th. The casino and hotels power was out . The entire place is so darn hot. I've never ever in my life experienced such horrible service and a horrible hotel. Since the power is out , no wifi, no AC, cannot check in to rooms at time of arrival. We waited 3 hrs in the hot hallways of this dingy hotel. I wasn't aware that this place was dirty and fowl. We finally were able to check in and we asked to manager if we could get an upgrade or a coupon for a coffee or something or anything, and he said no! He's so rude . Everyone is sweating , tired and looking pretty sad. I tried to get another hotel next door which is the golden nugget and to my Suprise when I went to cancel the Harrah's it was already paid , the payment went through. I can't believe this putrid hotel rang my card when I hadn't even checked in. The golden nugget is much nicer and renovated. Place looks decent and had the air conditioning full blast. Once I finally checked into my room, the air finally worked in a few areas of the hotel But non wifi. What the heck! No tv. I just want to chill and watch some tv. I'm tired , hot and upset . My room is dirty . Finger prints everywhere, door knobs are crusty and have sticky residue on them. Only three outlets inside the room, tv is tiny, the bathroom floor is dirty and has dirt marks all over. I am laying on the bed at a slant right now as I write this review . Tomorrow morning, I'm leaving this poor excuse for a hotel. This place is a mo mo. This is not a hotel. Dirty, dingy, poor customer service . The bald manager guy was rude and didn't know how to respond to this fiasco. Don't stay at The Harrah's . Dirty, poor service, dirty and gross . Neglected to mention , the ice machine on the 5th and 6th floor ran out of ice and the machine on the 6 floor was broken . Place looks like it's from the 70's. Oh my. We ensured we would be in a newly remodeled room in a remodeled tower. Nope. The paint and other things on the way to the room told a different story. Scuffed, worn, and definitely not new. Even the door to the room looked beat up. The room (indeed the hotel) smelled musty and smoky. The room was okay clean, but certainly not sparkling. And the reviews for other places in town made this place sound like a palace, so there wasn't much choice when arriving late at night. And the casino has pretty bad odds. Lost a big chunk of bills very quickly and far faster than most of the Vegas places I've stayed at in the past. Overall, not a great place. But I think that might just be true of Laughlin in its entirety. We were passing through and chose to stop here for the night to check it out, even though it added 40 minutes to our trip. Certainly would not return--not to this hotel and not to Laughlin. read more

This hotel may have been the place to stay back in the day, but it hasn't been updated in a very long time. It's being held together by the multiple layers of paint on the walls and door frames just to make it look refreshed. The room we had was a nice sized corner room that overlooked the river in the North Tower. The casino was tight as well, we lost a lot of money there. Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The air conditioning did not work properly, which made the room extremely uncomfortable, especially during the warmer weather. On top of that, the room was not as clean as we expected from a hotel stay and the ice machine didn't work on 5 different floors. Cleanliness and a functioning A/C are basic necessities, and unfortunately, this hotel fell short in both areas. Stayed at Harrah's Laughlin recently and honestly the place feels very outdated. The elevator lines were absolutely ridiculous almost every time we tried to go up or down, especially during busy hours. We spent more time waiting for elevators than expected. The casino and hallways also feel old, dirty, and overdue for renovations. The carpet looks worn out, the overall atmosphere feels dated, and the property just doesn't feel very well maintained compared to other casinos in Laughlin. The location and river access are nice, but the hotel seriously needs updates and better crowd management for the elevators. read more

The last time I came to Harrahs it was awesome. This time, there was a nasty mess in the sink that had backed up, the room smelled like it had been smoked in, and there were trip hazards in the carpeting due to it needing to be re-stretched or replaced. The sink was fixed fairly quickly, but there was a smell of sewer gas my whole visit. I stuffed a wet washcloth in the sink drain & that helped. I love the area, but would definitely ask for a different tower next time! Central was awful! read more

Absolutely disgusting hotel! Our shower backs up to the point of overflowing, sink also fills up, and then this morning we woke up to dog feces in the hall way! We are here for a soccer tournament with our team and we are contemplating on checking out tonight into another hotel. staff is underwhelming short. Waited 30 mins for a Cinnabon last night. How hard is it to fix and maintain things. At check in, 3 of the 4 self check terminals weren't working. 4 of 6 elevators in the North Tower wasn't working. This was a weekend. EVERY TIME I wanted to go up to my room, it's a 20 min wait for the elevators. The hot tub was fenced off. When we got our room, there in one drawer was some baby clothes probably from the last guest. Doesn't give great confidence how well room cleaning between guests is. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. We've been staying here for years and have never had an experience like this. Day 1: We checked in and were given the wrong date and room type. Day 2: After a long drive, we went to shower, only to find the drain wouldn't work. The front desk said engineering wouldn't be available for 2 hours, so we moved rooms--only to end up in a room where the A/C didn't work at all. Later, we ordered room service and received a confirmation it would arrive within 45 minutes. After waiting over 1.5 hours, we called and were told, "Oops, we forgot your order." We were promised delivery shortly, but after another 45 minutes, nothing arrived. When we finally spoke to a manager (after waiting again), we were told the food had been thrown out because it had been sitting too long. Day 3: In the morning, we discovered a booger on the sheet right where my head had been. We contacted housekeeping and asked for fresh sheets so we could change them ourselves due to lack of trust. After waiting an hour, nothing arrived. When we followed up, we were told housekeeping had already come--but it turned out they were sent to the wrong room. The housekeeping manager dismissed it as "people make mistakes," and the director said we could change the sheets ourselves due to "safety issues." Day 4: At Smashburger, they only had Pepsi and Starry to drink, were almost out of meat, and would only sell single patties. They had only one water left. Day 5: At Cinnabon, the employee didn't ask what we wanted--just said, "You want a Cinnabon?" with no effort at customer service. Day 6: On our last day, my boyfriend developed a severe rash on his legs that has continued to worsen. Throughout the entire stay, every employee we encountered seemed unhappy and rude, as if they didn't want to be there. Customer service was completely nonexistent. We requested multiple times for a manager to call us--every single day--and never received a call back. On our last day, after waiting 45 minutes, we finally spoke to an assistant manager who simply asked, "What would you like me to do about it?" We again requested a call from the hotel manager and still have not received one. This was an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience. We will never return. Don't waste your money staying here. read more

Stopped by the Harrahs Laughlin NV casino last week on our trip home from Arizona. Had a great meal at the Guy Fieri's El Burro Boracho. Food was great. Service was super and the drinks were fantastic. Did a little gambling after and really enjoyed ourselves. We'll stop by again when we're in the area. read more
