Ordered a rollaway at 4:30... called twice to ask about it, they kept telling us it was coming...now at 9pm they're evidently out of rollaways. I'm supposed to put my kids on these nasty floors?! I wanted to provide an update as a manager from the hotel responded to my review. I called and spoke with a manager at the hotel. The manager was apologetic and he did acknowledge the issues with the rooms and service. He didn't try and make excuses or deny the issues I shared with him. I really appreciate that and wish other business managers were like this. I was informed that the hotel is or will be going through a complete renovation. This renovation should address all of the issues with the hotel. The hotel will need to hire additional staff to keep it clean and to maintain it though. The manager refunded the resort fee and Priceline.com refunded the hotel fee. This does not make our 4th of July experience any better nor does it improve the hotel right now but it is something. The hotel gets 1 star but the manager that I spoke with gets 5 stars. I wish this manager was on duty or available during our stay. read more

The beach was the nicest part, it was refreshing to take a dip in the cold Colorado river because Laughlin is so hot in the summer However this hotel needs major work. I can't recommend anyone stay there. Harrah's is a giant company and they are making their employees' lives miserable by the lack of investment and care in this property. I really felt bad for so many of the staff at this place. I'm not one to post reviews. Especially negative ones. But this experiences makes me never want to stay at a Harrah's "resort" ever again - total waste of money unfortunately! :( read more

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Went on a family vacation and half the family got stuck in the elevators, which broke. Room has not been updated since it was built. Everything looks dirty and is falling apart. But the worst part is the AC in our room was broken! When we couldn't take it anymore and inquired at the front desk they said there are a few rooms with ACs that can't be fixed and ours was one of them. So why rent it??? It's literally 120 degrees outside and we're still sweating in our rooms because it's got to be about 85 in there. They offered us a new room but we paid for a suite to fit our family and they only had standards available. After a ton of attitude from the front desk they comped one of our nights and the resort fees. The only positive is the arcade. My two young boys loved it and it was nice and cool and not crowded. Would have spent more time at the beach if we could have brought shade, but they don't allow that and you have to rent a $200 umbrella or $600 cabana. That's a wild price. If you go in the late afternoon the sun goes behind the hotel and everything is in shade by that point. Bottom line: don't stay here. Total dump. read more

I was excited to stay here but sadly, left underwhelmed. Parking was a plus, plentiful and very close to the hotel and check-in desk. Walking into the hotel itself I was greeted by a waft of cigarette smell. Yum...but to be fair, it was to be expected in this large hotel-casino resort. I was greeted right away by an employee who pointed the way to several check-in kiosks in the middle of the hotel lobby. I believe you could still check in at the front desk but I only saw one employee behind the front desk so I could tell they were really pushing for guests to check-in at these massive kiosks. The program to check-in moved a bit slow. I'm guessing it had something to do with the resort's extremely slow internet service. I was assigned a room in the North Tower which has the furthest walk from the lobby so you had to walk through the entire cigarette-scented casino and wait for what felt like the world's slowest elevator to get up to your room. Several other guests also waiting complained that only 2 out of the 6 elevators worked. My wait was extremely long every time I had to use the elevator. My room looked disheveled. The bed was so messy, sheets were barely tucked under the mattress. The bathroom towels looked like they were thrown on top of the towel rack. Hair was still left in the shower. I'm glad I did not opt-out of room service (you get a $10 food/beverage credit if you do!). Housekeeping greatly improved my second day! The bed was made and the towels looked neatly folded! The room could also use some updates. There was so much empty space! It would be nice to see a small couch and ottoman. The window was extremely dirty! I kept the curtains closed for most of my stay. The pillows were tiny and flat. The fitted sheet had a small but very obvious hole it in. The room could also use a full-length mirror and coffee machine. There is a Starbucks in the lobby of the hotel. Unfortunately it was NOT opened at 8am! If I'm in Laughlin again, Harrah's wouldn't be my first choice. A brief glitch. The scooter we rented would not fit in the handicap room we requested. With a phone call we were moved to a larger room. Though not handicapped. This is not Vegas and you are getting a good rate on the room. The Beach Cafe was just okay. Staff would benefit from training on how to speak to Customers. Very disappointing experience at Harrah's Hotel and Casino this trip. I was excited to going back to Laughlin and enjoying the pool, casino, restaurants, and cold Colorado river. Adult Pool was closed due to a visitor breaking glassware in pool. Tried the family pool but no chairs or place to sun. I asked one of the employees about moving chairs from other area and was told "No". Went down to beach and only place to sit was by renting chairs for $198.00 a day. It seemed to me Harrahs now charges for everything. Shuttle to go anywhere $25.00 a person. Water taxi $20.00 for day pass. These items use to be free for those staying at Harrah's Hotel. Sunday thru Wednesday most restaurants in hotel not open. Food choices became very boring. Smoky casino floor even in non smoking areas. Hotel had no service unless asked for to refill coffee or clean towels for a 4 day stay. A few places to get food on location and everyone working tried and not really trying to be nice and make it a good experience. I do not like to give poor ratings as life is tough for all, but out of all of our experiences this was not my favorite. We stayed here over the weekend and left a day early. What a mess! We were in the dreaded North Tower and after reading reviews left over the last several months, it seems nothing has been addressed. Two elevators were working on Saturday and one of them rattled like it was about to break and the doors slammed suddenly. Lines to get on an elevator were LONG at times, this problem diminished Sunday and Monday due to the hotel being less crowded. The hallway from the food court to elevator smelled of sewage and last night our room also smelled of it. We had some nasty looking and smelling black sludge bubbling up in the sink AND the bathroom and entry lights had burned out. The mattresses were another issue. I'd swear they were inflatable mattresses, the beds were loud whenever someone changed position and the mattress shaked like crazy due to their lightness. I didn't inspect and pull the sheets off though. On a positive note, All employees were very friendly and the gift shop had some unique things. The view out of our room was very pretty also. I've only been checked in for 2 hours and I actually would rather drive 5 hours home than stay the rest of my stay. There is no seating anywhere that is free unless it is in the casino. Um I'm not here to gamble, so why should I be made to "reserve" every piece of seating in the hotel and outdoors by the pool and beach. Over $50 for the most inedible food we've ever had. I know you're gonna pay top dollar in Vegas, but at least you're going to get better options and quality. This hotel is the most outdated place I have EVER seen, and I've stayed at circus circus.. The staff is incredibly unhelpful and rude, I get it that you hate your job but I didn't do anything to you.. This is my first time here and most certainly my last. DO NOT COME HERE. If I could give them 0 stars, that would be doing them a favor since they deserve to be -5. We should have known it was going to be a shit show based on the fact that it took us close to 30 minutes to get on the elevator. That's right, 30 freakin minutes to get into a jam packed elevator to go to the 11th floor. Unfortunately, our nightmare stay was just beginning!! As soon as we got Into our room we noticed there were stains on the bed. It clearly looked like they had reused the sheets from the previous party as those stains were clearly cum stains. As we inspected the bathroom, it was also clear it was not cleaned. Pubic hair all over the bathtub, used toiletries were found, dirty mirror and a used plastic toothpick. We immediately got out of the room, after my GF took pictures, and headed downstairs. After waiting another 20 minutes to speak with someone, we were switched to a different room. Customer service from assistant manager was a 10/10 but she clearly had had this happen before based on her comments. This hotel is at a great location but looks like they need to refresh the whole building and get adequate staffing that actually does their job. I have never stayed at an hotel this bad. Room was in Central Tower, it was dirty and the complimentary shampoo bottle was obviously used and empty. Staff was consistently rude, except for one lady at the front desk, and restaurant staff was very nice. Elevators were none operable in some parking garages and the hotel elevators were down for a period of time, to where we had to walk down 14 flights of stairs and some people were climbing the stairs. The venue itself was very intimate and made you feel like you were watching a concert in a backyard. The sound, the lighting, and the atmosphere was well put together. The South tower was renovated and looks much better, but was such a poor experience. Total bummer, we were there for a birthday weekend and won't be going back. The mexican restaurant in the hotel isn't too shabby, but is overpriced. Don't eat at the Beach Cafe, food was not good and expensive. Saddest part was our shower, the pan was broken in the bottom of the shower and they put a 'bandaid' over it, a large white film to cover it, and the plastic shower head leaked everywhere. Didn't feel clean either. Disappointing, I've stayed at other Harrah's and had great experiences, when we complained about our room their response was we should have booked in the south tower, but how were we supposed to know that?? read more

Took a short weekend trip to the neighboring town to explore my new state. Did you stay in Harrah's in Vegas? I didn't,but have a might compted since it's Cesar's property. What a sad stay! It was nice in the outside (if you don't look down on the very dirty walkway). I should've lower my expectations in the first elevator! Everything so dirty - wanted to wash my hands right after press the button. On the walk to the room wasn't sure how bad is it going to be. But... surprise! It's not as bad. Carpet,bed pretty clean, no dust despite that old hotel room smell. Room inside looks pretty much as Motel 8 with the same amount of amenities minus refrigerator and coffee maker! Lots of clean towels in the bathroom. But bathtub looks so dirty! Don't want to step in without shoes on. Definitely no soaking in the tub. Beautiful view from 17th floor window. Very limited number of the places for dinner. Guy Fiery restaurant was just ok. So, after all, I will not hurry back to this place. Caesars name here is just a name, nothing else. THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED - summer 2021 Had drafted a two star review because the employee, Bree, who checked us in was awesome. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the trip, check in... we do an annual Laughlin family trip, this will be the last one at Harrah's. After the rest of our trip I needed my 2nd star back. Properties in Laughlin are dated, we're used to it. Harrah's is actually on life support. I'm not talking about some stained carpet and chipped paint. If there is a 3, 4, or 5 star review from the last month, it's not accurate I assure you. I'll try to make it as concise as possible. Booked 4 rooms for 5 days for my family, lots of $$$. Arrived with a van full of excited people and truckload of supplies. Arrive to find there's no valet service, at all. No valet employees. Ok, poop happens. Unload our car and grab a bell hop. We get our things loaded onto his cart, off it goes. Get checked in with Bree as stated above, she was awesome. Get to our rooms, and here's where the free fall begins: 3 of the 4 rooms have sinks that don't drain, which grossed me out. One room is filthy and even has dirty cups and food in the cupboard. Two rooms smell of urine and have no air conditioning. One room, "non-smoking", smells like an ash tray complete with ashes in the sink. I almost fell off my bed because of my lopsided mattress. And on and on... a budget motel would have been so much better, no exaggeration. HOURS later, our items arrive at our room because there is only ONE bellhop for the entire SOLD OUT hotel. Seriously? Okay not the end of the world. Push on. The A/C is almost non-existent throughout the "resort." Of the bank of 6 elevators in our tower, only TWO work, now leading to egregious lines and long waits just to get back to your sub-par room. No air in the packed elevators, and a spilled ice cream sundae remained on the floor of one of them for a solid two days. Needed to use the restroom on the casino floor, but was turned away from one because plumbing was backing up. The pool, oh the pool. Had to use the kid's pool since we had our kids, but what a disaster. No towels there, had to walk to the adult pool to gather towels and bring them back. No attendants anywhere, food and trash everywhere, including inside the pool. My wife and I cleaned up the area so our kids could enjoy with some semblance of safety. There was so much chlorine, probably to overcompensate for the lack of cleaning, that my eyes began to burn bad, as did many others. Tried to go relax in the pool with the kids later in the evening, only to find a block party type atmosphere with blasting music from someone's personal boom box. Pool closes at 9, no extension, they started kicking people out and disabled the doors at 8:30, I mean how dare you get any enjoyment at this "resort." No personnel to do anything else, but the fun police was in full force. Tried to salvage our last few hours of my kids' vacation so off to the arcade. Joy! Thats hard to mess up. 1 of 6 token machines working. Most of the games were out of service, and some that appeared to work took at least $10 of our money without registering. Even the arcade was a disaster. I'm an older guy with much traveling experience, and this was by far my worst hotel stay ever. We didn't even enjoy our river days because the conversation was all about how miserable we were. I understand that much of this can be attributed to understaffing due to those lazy people not wanting to work after getting their free government money, however, until you get back to staffing, service, and atmosphere levels, you just can't justify charging resort prices. $150-200 a night for this disaster is robbery. Hopefully it gets fixed or my used-to-be my favorite Laughlin hotel and casino will go under. read more

Service ZERO. Furnishings atmosphere cleanliness and experience way below ZERO. My word this place has gone to the dogs. Literally duct tape holding the carpet together. And a 19" TV screwed to the wall. The TV bracket was larger than the TV. Elevators are broken down and inoperable; you'll wait in line 10-15 minutes for the 2 elevators that are kinda working because Harrah's believes that multi-Million dollar bonuses for the execs is more important than you. 3 out of 4 times return to our room after the 15 minute fiasco with the elevators; and our keys didn't work. So back downstairs to deal with the broken elevators again. Just a complete disaster and not one employee could offer an "I'm sorry". As a senior citizen, I don't appreciate having to schlep my backpack, suitcase, and cooler up flights of stairs because your parking garage / bridge elevator is also out of order. Close this place down If you can't even repair an elevator; it was the same when we were there two years ago. They have this Pin-Up Pizza place; but it's rarely open. Literally only open 5 hours (5pm-10pm) (closed 19 hours per day) on a busy Saturday night. But they keep the Pizza sign lit 24/7/365 like the place is open; but when you get there they place is closed up. Why have the sign on if you're closed? Look, If cheap watered down vodka served in a 10 oz plastic cup, combined with a run down, filthy dirty hotel is your thing then this place might be for you. But we won't be back. read more

This place is awful. The room is covered in spider webs, the carpet is stained and wasn't even vacuumed. The tub is dirty the grout in the shower looks moldy. There isn't any standard of cleanliness and the staff just says they can't do anything. Sending housekeeping is the best they can do. They don't want to offer any discounts for the inconvenience of having to move rooms. Why have someone in charge that refuses to help you. I am staying at this hotel right now and I cannot sleep. I'm so infuriated and uncomfortable. The moment I walked into this room, a foul oder that smells like mold and cigarettes hit me. I literally feel sick right now breathing this air. That is just the beginning... I immediately notice a dirty tissue left behind by the previous customers which led me to do some more inspections of the room. I then found a hairball by the mini refrigerator, the bathroom door and the main door is completely damaged, the wall is damaged, the curtain is ripped and broken, cobwebs on the ceiling and there were dead bugs in the corner of the room. Had to go back and change rooms - which they did quickly so I appreciate that. It still didn't smell good but it wasn't sewage! Walls have cracks, TINIEST tv I've seen in a while. I am not a fan of resort fees. They amount to little more than misleading advertising. But, I booked three nights here for 167.03. (w resort fees) Mar 13-16. 55.00 and change a night is fine. When I arrived, I parked next to the curb to check in. I was immediately told by the valet I could not park there. I said I was checking in. He said you must give me your keys then. I noted that Harrah's charges for valet parking and thus the valets will try to "jones you" into using that service. I had simply hoped to drop my bags curbside, park in self-parking, return and haul my bags to the room. Instead, I gave him my keys (my wife could have stayed in the car w the keys) and after checking in- I had to track the guy down and get my keys back. Our room was decent but small. We had a nice view of the roof top and HVAC ducts. I thought the restaurants were expensive. The slots were super tight and among the four of us and some 60 machines over 3 days- nobody won anything. So aside from the valet and some shortage of cocktail waitresses- our stay was ok. One other item. Not a hotel fault. I don't know if casino hotels can stop 2 am drunks from talking on full blast as they walk down hallways late at night- but I am surely growing tired of it. Maybe a "please be quiet sign after 11 PM" near elevator exits would help. When I arrived home, I checked my CC to find out that Harrahs had charged me in two installments. One charge was 35.44. The second charge was 146.55. Somehow they had inflated my bill, w/out explanation, an additional 14.96 to 181.99. I tried to call and was shuffled off to eternal music- then I attempted to fill out a billing inquiry (3 times!) on Caesars.www.com. The billing form on email defaulted me to a list of FAQ's. After wasting an hour of my time- I still don't think my request for a 14. 96 refund was submitted. I'm not too happy with this experience. Probably not going back. hotel stay from hell is all I can say and NEVER AGAIN. Got here around 7 checked in, that took forever, get up to the room, dirty towels on the floor, someone's dinner on the dresser, trash in the can, AND OPEN TO THE CONJOINING ROOM. we then proceeded to call the front desk for 20 min with no luck, we finally walk down to the front desk and Patty is the "manager on duty". she looked thoroughly annoyed that she had to put her phone down. we got into a second room and it had bloody trash in the trashcans and the motor in the ac sounded like it had something in it. maintance came up couldn't fix it was going to have yo come back, but he was a real nice guy and was the ONLY PERSON that was compassionate and understanding to the situation with my son. we are traveling with our 11 year old autistic son. so back down to the "manager" patty and SHE HAS THE AUDACITY TO SAY "I know people like your son". SO CLEARLY THE ENTIRE PROPERTY (ALL OF CEASARS EVEN VEGAS?) HAS ZERO REGARD FOR THE SPECIAL NEEDS COMMUNITY. at this point I'm ready to drive back to LA when Patty offers us a room woth a parking lot view instead of river. I reluctantly take it cause otherwise I'm driving back to la at 10pm. then she informs us we won't be getting the price difference for the parking lot view cause we booked online, so 3 rooms later I'm out the river view (WHAT MY SON WANTED) premium and at 630am I get a wake up call. Zero stars! Do not stay here! This place is dump! It's worse than any motel I have ever stayed at. Dirty, broken down rooms. We just got in last night and had to change to another room (because the sink was clogged, the bed was falling apart, the safe was not working and a drawer for clothes was jammed shut, not to mention candy wrappers and dirty inside the drawers that were usable). The second room they put us in is worse than the first (for example, the bathroom sink has NO hot water - at least the shower does but that is a whole other disaster in itself - also no safe, no hair dryer, no fridge, the first room had these ammenities). Also, it's a handicapped room and we are not handicapped. It makes me feel like they treat the disabled even worse than us. That is so sad to me. What if someone disabled needs this room?? That's another thing to think about... We will never come back to this location. We stayed at Caesar's Palace in Vegas a few months ago and it was fine. We usually stay with this "hotel" group and usually are not disappointed. We also stayed at Harrah's in Nola a few years ago (it was nice) and have reservations there for this October. I hope that this crappy place isn't any indication of what's to come in Nola. If it's gone down like here, then we will write off Caesar's Entertainment/Harrah's for good. Again, don't torture yourself here. I'm sure there are better places in Laughlin. RESTAURANTS: I did want to note that the Beach Cafe restaurant staff is very good. Good service, good people - so far. Some of the other employees are not so nice. Will let you know how it goes at their high end restaurant tonight BUT so far it's weird, as they made my husband give them a credit card number and told him he'd be charged a fee if he cancels. LOL We are staying here yet they couldn't use our room number/name info. for any of that. (Update: THE RANGE RESTAURANT was good. Not fabulous but worth it). I don't know what's happening here but they will definitely continue to lose good clientele if they treat them like they do us. To Ryan B.
