Review for Dr. Devens and staff…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. My mother, who has progressive MS and can barely walk, had an appointment here for mole removals across her back. We drove 45 minutes to get here, even calling the office about 45 minutes in advance to let them know we would be running late because of police activity and major road construction. Despite that, when we arrived 16 minutes late, they flat out refused to see her. I explained the situation to the receptionist -- that my mother's condition makes travel very difficult and that this was part of an ongoing medical procedure. The response I got was cold and dismissive. The receptionist didn't care about anything other than the fact that I was "speaking loudly." She even threatened to call the cops because I raised my voice out of frustration, while showing zero empathy for the fact that my disabled mother had struggled to get there at all. The worst part? My mother had to hobble back in herself only to be told she shouldn't come back. Let's be honest -- this is what happens when you're a Medicaid patient and the doctor has a "God complex." Patients with the "right" insurance probably wouldn't be treated this way. Now we have to start the process all over again with another dermatologist, wasting more time and putting my mother through more stress than she should ever have to endure. If you value compassion, basic decency, or accessibility for people with serious health conditions -- do not come here. Make sure you have the "best" insurance and show up perfectly on time, because otherwise, you'll be treated horribly. This experience was demeaning, exhausting, and unnecessary.

After one treatment i was advised my subsequent appointment was cancelled because the machine broke. No eta or urgency on fixing it. Then days later got a call that I could go to their other office for treatment. After my second treatment they cancelled my next appt. I have consulted 2 other Drs and both said that Dr Goldberg was negligent and i should not have had 2 treatments a week apart. it did nothing other than unneccesarily radiate the skin. and he does't do image guided which is needed to verify the tumor is gone. I was not told this. I requested four times that Dr Goldberg call me to discuss but he refused. and i just received a large bill which i will not be paying!

From lashes to microdermabrasion to facials to laser and more- this Eastchester Spa has everything. Sometimes I want spa-style pampering; sometimes I might want major tweakments- but from any kind of facial treatment, I always want visible results. Wouldn't you??? Skin & Laser may have their 300 Main St address- but it's deceiving because you'd have to go around the corner and once you see Country Markets as your landmark across the street, then you're finally here. The waiting area smells clean with no harsh artificial scents. And a faint- but calming scent from all of Skin & Laser's facial products linger ever so lovely. The exceptional Dominique is likely Westchester's most in-demand facialist offering face-changing techniques combined with state-of-the-art tech. I personally love it. Just a few minutes with the founder and I was instantly given- not only a quick pick-me-up feel, but also instant gratification with a great end result after my first session with her. I love it even more. I can't wait to return. The process was seamless with a heavenly, healing touch.

If I could give no stars, I would. I made an appointment a few months back and when I arrived, I…read morewas told the doctor I was scheduled to see didn't take my insurance. The doctor who did take my insurance was booked for the rest of the day so the front desk scheduled me for an appt in 2 weeks at 5:30 pm so I wouldn't have to take off. The day of my 5:30 appt, I leave work early and they call me at 5 pm to say the doctor leaves at 4pm so I need to reschedule. I ask to see whatever doctor is there and they said he can't take any more patients for the day. I ask if they can at least call in one refill for my medication since I ran out and need it for my skin and they said they can't because the doctor may want to prescribe something new. I am very annoyed at this point and ask to be rescheduled asap with the doctor who takes my insurance. I should have just found a new doctor at this point but I decided to give them one more chance. The earliest appointment they could give me was 3 weeks away at 10am. I booked it and planned to take off since the wait time after you get there is always at least an hour. I get to my appointment and guess what? Apparently the doctor who I was booked with doesnt take my insurance since "the person who booked it didn't know what she was doing" (direct quote from the front desk) I told them that I took the day off just for this appointment and I still haven't been able to get a prescription for my medication and they replied with "sorry there's nothing we can do" but the doctor has an opening next week. I told them I won't be coming back because it's been 3 times I had to reschedule due to their errors and it's obvious that this practice is just out to make money. The front desk of an office truly sets the tone of the practice even if the doctor is good. If this place expects to succeed, they need to train their staff on office procedure and professionalism. i called another dermatology office in WestMed and I was given an appointment within a week, wait time was less than 10 minutes and the doctor took time to listen to my concerns about my skin condition. Their front desk is efficient and professional. Never again will I go to Advanced Dermatology.
