Out of all the dermatologists that I have seen, be in MDs, NP, or PAs, PA-c Palines was hands away…read morethe best. I must say that I went into the office with some pretty nasty problems after being in the hospital for months, but he treated me with the utmost respect. I needed to get a procedure done and he was booked but rather than have me come back again from Scarsdale, I waited a bit and then he took care of one of the problems. I always read YELP reviews before I go to a Dr/OD/DO/NP/PA and won't go unless the reviews are stellar. He is a true 5 star health care provider. I needed a medicine and it was called into the pharmacy and was ready by the time I hit Scarsdale CVS. No issue/attitude with the office staff. They were great

Review for Dr. Devens and staff…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. My mother, who has progressive MS and can barely walk, had an appointment here for mole removals across her back. We drove 45 minutes to get here, even calling the office about 45 minutes in advance to let them know we would be running late because of police activity and major road construction. Despite that, when we arrived 16 minutes late, they flat out refused to see her. I explained the situation to the receptionist -- that my mother's condition makes travel very difficult and that this was part of an ongoing medical procedure. The response I got was cold and dismissive. The receptionist didn't care about anything other than the fact that I was "speaking loudly." She even threatened to call the cops because I raised my voice out of frustration, while showing zero empathy for the fact that my disabled mother had struggled to get there at all. The worst part? My mother had to hobble back in herself only to be told she shouldn't come back. Let's be honest -- this is what happens when you're a Medicaid patient and the doctor has a "God complex." Patients with the "right" insurance probably wouldn't be treated this way. Now we have to start the process all over again with another dermatologist, wasting more time and putting my mother through more stress than she should ever have to endure. If you value compassion, basic decency, or accessibility for people with serious health conditions -- do not come here. Make sure you have the "best" insurance and show up perfectly on time, because otherwise, you'll be treated horribly. This experience was demeaning, exhausting, and unnecessary.

Dr Teplitz is an excellent dermatologist. She diagnosed my husband and treated him for a severe…read moreskin condition. He immediately started getting better under Dr Teplitz's care. I have also been her patient as well as my daughter and we both are pleased . When my husband need Moh's surgery, Dr Teplitz brought in a surgeon to her office to perform his surgery. Dr Teplitz has moved from her private practice in Tuckahoe to an office in Yonkers with two other dermatologists. I have an appointment with her in May at her new office.

I wish I had read the reviews here before making an appointment. You've been warned…read more I did not meet with the Doctor until AN HOUR AND TEN MINUTES after my appointment time!!!!! An hour and ten minutes!!! Ridiculous. And this was an early hour appt too. My meeting w the doctor didn't even last no more than 15minutes. By the way, the walls here are very, very thin. I can hear EVERY single word coming out of the room next door. Oh. And why was my door not shut completely while I was getting examined? Spreaded butt cheeks and all??! Ugh!! I don't know why anybody would ever want to come back here. Doctor was okay. Front receptionist was nice and friendly. Although while I was waiting in the lobby, I overheard one of the employees say this out loud about another patient ... "She's a b***h. She doesn't like to wait. And she's not even on time for her appt" -- swear to God, I wish this was a lie. Couldn't believe my ears!! Stay away.

Almost makes my skin crawl…read more.... While I have been to worse places, this is a place I'll still likely never return to. They say first impressions are important - well my first impression of this place was not at all good. While things slightly improved, this place isn't promising. I arrived about 30 minutes earlier than my appointment time and came upon a crowded waiting room. I went to the desk and the miserable human being sitting there almost went out of her way to not acknowledge me. I did notice a sign in sheet on my own, signed in, sat down. About a half hour later - after nothing - I saw another patient with a clipboard for a new patient paperwork, so I went back to the front to this miserable person and told her I was a new patient. No eye contact, she sighed and handed me the clip board with a pen and nothing else. I get it - people have bad days - but you don't take it out on complete strangers in your place of work. Can't handle it, then quit. Better yet, she should get reprimanded and terminated. I work in healthcare and this is inexcusable. The fact that she's working is poor. She was wearing blue scrubs and had her Airpods in. Thankfully, I didn't have to deal with this sorry sack again as I handed my clipboard to a friendlier and more welcoming person. If I cared enough to come back, I can only wish to never see this person again. Past that person, all other staff were friendly enough. The doctor answered my questions. I was given a prescription - but instead of them faxing the script to my pharmacy, they have this place I never heard of that delivers to your doorstep. I'm on the fence about trying it or just holding out for another dermatologist. I was eventually seen about 40 minutes past my appointment time - an hour and ten minutes total wait. This is located on the 5th floor in a building that holds a lot of other offices. There is plenty of parking, but it can get crowded at the same time. Would've probably been about 3 stars, but that person at the desk is not very good for any environment that has to do with the general public. So I will see what else is out there before I attempt to return to this location - IF I do at all. Maybe if I do, hopefully that nasty person is no longer employed there and they'll give choices on where your prescription can go.

I wouldn't even give this place one star. The PA and his assistant will lie to you about sending…read moreyour medicine to pharmacies but you'll never get it. They also suck at patient education and they told me I could buy glyccolic acid pad, and then they didn't tell me from where so I came back to pharmacy only to find out they want me to buy from their office. Then they are like we'll work with you in sending them over like how is that going to make up for the time my face has suffered due to your incompetency? Also the dude is getting paid for some lasers, so he thinks antibiotics aren't a cure for acne (its acne, dude, not cancer, open a textbook) so he wants to do laser (like we all don't know there are so many other antibiotics/ isoretinoin etc available for acne treatment) just so he can extort money. I should have listened to the ratings here and never have wasted my 3 months with them. My acne is worse than before, and I'll probably also be filing a lawsuit for the emotional and financial distress they have caused me by denying my treatment. This place is the definition of incompetency. The person who gave this 5 star is probably from their own staff lol.

I would recommend against using Dr. Kriegel and Westchester Center for Dermatology. First of all,…read morethey are money hungry. They make you pay $100 aright upfront. Then you don't see the doctor but a physician assistant. Took a sample of what I went in for and left quite a mark on my face. Fortunately the doctor I saw in NYC to take care of the problem was a plastic surgeon. i also got a bill from the lab that Dr. Kriegel uses. WHen I called my insurance company about all of this I was informed that the insurance covered charges and that I should not pay. I was also told that I was to get a refund from the doctor. After follow up and run around, eight months later I still have not gotten the refund. I never experienced a doctor's office that was this unprofessional. How in the world do they get a good rating by Westchester Magazine? Makes me question how those ratings are done. 2/2019: The office followed up with me and offered to try to make things right. I may have been unlucky in this instance and this would not be their usual experience. They did refund the balance of my payment, they did want to know what they could do for me and all in all I give them a lot of credit for being concerned. It may also be that I was so accustomed to my dermatologist of 5 years that I had different expectations for my visit with them.
