I had been dealing with chronic back pain- just throbbing continually! And for someone still in their twenties, I knew something was wrong. I could feel them wriggling (almost in defiance!) but she won and I walked out of there completely different. So grateful for her touch!

I had called multiple times and no one answered. Finally at 6:15 pm, I get a call from a number not listed on any of the business website and a woman tells me the address is on Meyers road. Then she hands her phone to a guy named Tony who then starts talking about how they're in a dispute with Yelp instead of letting me know what their actual address is. Finally, I just told them to cancel my appointment and that I will not be charged for missing any appointment due to this nonsense. This doesn't seem like an actual business, stay away.

Though she was booked all day and was traveling the next day, she still let me come by during her only free hour since I was so sore post-race. The massage work is terrific. Tamara is very strong, but more importantly is also very skilled and is able to locate the knotted areas that need the most work. She's also very knowledgeable; I had initially asked for a deep tissue massage, but she explained that was too intense for one day after the race and did a mix of Swedish and deep tissue work. I was amazed by how much better my body felt the next day. The pricing is competitive, especially for such a good quality massage. Tamara is also flexible and allowed me to use Chase QuickPay, which was very convenient. I would most definitely recommend her and I will definitely be going back!

Her deep tissue massage therapy work is among the best I've ever experienced. She was able to both work out the knots in my shoulders, and she was also able to get to the root of my back problem (holding my large toddler incorrectly on one hip will need to change.) I know she can do the relaxing, Swedish type massage therapy also--but if you really need some serious body maintenance work done, Tamara can get it done. She was able to bring her table to my house, which was convenient. I think she'll come to Elmhurst locations with no additional fee--farther drives may have a fee. Pricing is competitive. However, a Redditor (must be a local) mentioned Sunny as their go-to and so I figured we'd give it a try. Both my MIL and I loved our massages. For $60 plus $20 tip per person, we enjoyed a 60-min full body massage that did everything I hoped for. They use oils that naturally warm up as they massage you, are thoughtful about pressure, listen to and follow your requests (for example, my MIL wanted some extra attention on her knees because they are prone to aching and they did), and are easy to make appointments with. Really pleased with Sunny and will come again next time I'm in town. My MIL may also become a regular soon! Thank you for the pleasant experience!

No really, Kim, thanks for not getting me hooked on benzos instead. Nancy is the chillest woman in the west suburbs, so much so that I often forget the season we're in when I'm out of my clothes and on her table, in a cozy little room with several reminders to forget one's trouble. I don't care about the occasional sound from the outside world, my preoccupations fade, and I generally lose all concept of time and discomfort - physical or mental. She doesn't do the deep tissue thing, so don't call her if you prefer to get beaten a little. She has, however, helped me tremendously with my TMJ issues, back pain, and overall state of relaxation. Generally, I start out on my back, then get a little cranio-sacral work, then flip over for the back attention. I like to go for 90 minutes ($115) when I can, but 60 is great too (only $75). She's got locations in the city too - Hubbard and Damen, I think. So call her if you're looking for a laid-back massage therapist at a nice price.
