I called last minute on my way beck to the neighborhood, the owner was cool about and put me with "Star". She was great! Very gentle, didn't make me bleed, and did exactly what I requested. We originally was going to go to Mira Nails across the street but they were closed. We walked in literally nobody greeted us or even looked our way. Two people finally came out the back & literally finished a conversation before saying oh sorry how can we help you. I needed a pedi & fill. My boyfriend wanted a pedi & mani. I went first seeing how they said give them 10 min to start my boyfriend. First it took her over a hour to do a fill which I've never in my life sat so long for a FILL! I asked twice hey when can someone do my boyfriends nails. There was a girl at her nail station painting her nails the whole time than went up the the front desk to talk. I asked again hey can someone start his nails. Oh when the other girl finished she will start. Nobody ever did his nails. Back to the lady doing my nails... She didn't ask me if I wanted my nails cut down, what shape nothing just the color. Let's also say she didn't buff my nails & when I asked her if she could buff them because they were bumpy she said no it's done. At that time I was irritated & ready to go, nobody asked us how was your experience how are your nails nothing. All my nails are different shapes & painted horrible! To top it off a fill was $50. I'm from NY, was vacationing in MIA. Stopped by for a quick mani / pedi. Told the man at the front desk/ manager that I wanted to do a dip powder manicure and gel pedicure, he specifically told me that their special for that combo was $65, no problem! Let me just say, I have never received such a bad manicure in my entire life (will insert photos.) The lady doing the mani was very sweet but did not know what she was doing with the dip powder. When she hands me the bill, it's 90 DOLLARS. I was willing to forgive the shitty work for 65 dollars, but 90?! I went to the man in front and questioned him about the original given price. He was extremely rude and condescending. Told me the combo was with a regular pedicure, not gel and that if I wanted they could remove the gel pedicure and do regular pedi for $65! I think the most important thing on a business is costumer service. Unfortunately the first and last person you see in this place is the manager. She really has the worst attitude. If I didn't knew that place and go for a service I wouldn't stay and wait for someone if the first person I see treats me like the manager did this wasn't only to me. One of the few salons that are open on Sundays. I called on Sunday morning after calling several other places and this one was the only one that was able to do a last minute dip refill before my flight. The lady who did my nails had her phone to the side and was watching some sort of video on it while doing my nails, and while she was filing them the electric file dug into my cuticle and I bled a lot. Then she did the same on my other hand. Definitely the most painful manicure I've ever had... they came out ok but the paint needed another coat as you can see different shades on it. They charged me $41 for a refill which I thought was a little expensive since I had previously paid $45 to get the full set done... overall not thrilled about this place, but would probably not come back unless I wasn't able to find availability at any other salon. Also, not a lot of parking available. I parked my car on 18th st and got my car towed because even though there are pay by phone signs there, it is a commercial zone from 5 am to 5 pm so be careful where you park! read more

Have been coming to Harmony salon for a while. Service has always been fine, the manicures are fine as well... I wish I could leave three stars but the woman who works at the counter is so rude and petty that there is no way I could leave anything over 1 star. Leo has always been friendly and nice but this woman at the counter has such a negative vibe, that it permeates throughout the place and technicians. You can really tell that everyone that works there is unhappy. Clearly, this woman doesn't have the slightest idea what it is to be kind or treat customers appropriately. Wont be coming here again! My friend and I came to this place because we got a special for two mani/pedis for 56$. The place was ok but it wasn't amongst the best I've been in. The salon is divided into the hairs station and the nails station. The part where they do your hands feels a little too crowded and I feel like it would be easy to mess up your nails trying to make your way out of the tables. The part where they do your feet it's not as crowded. The lady that did my nails could've done a better job removing my cuticles she also left my toe nails a little uneven which it's not too noticeable from far but from close I could definitely see the difference. I want to cry at how ugly my nails are. She took 3 hours to do my nails and toes and they look so off. Only reason I stayed was because the way she took so long made me think she was trying to be very particular and give me perfect nails so it may be worth it. I asked for white on my toes and red on my nails. Oval shaped. Simple. She missed the memo of RED on the nails but she took so long idgaf any more I wanted to leave. Nails are uneven and bumpy. The side profile of my "oval" nails is bumpy. Y'all she took so long I really didn't even care at the end of the appointment. I was referred to this place and the dip nails peeled off completely. I went back to get a gel manicure and show the results and was told they only stand behind their work for 3 days. I told them I would never do a dip as the quality is not able to withstand a week and they wanted to argue it was 10 days. Which it was not the point and I didn't want to give them any power in arguing. I was happy with my dipped nails in Fort Lauderdale,as when I went to Italy with my dipped nails lasted a month. The owner felt in 20 years this never happened before and he is honest and brought his technician that did my nails to agree. They questioned if I had the nails done there and I did. The lady confirmed. Awkward! Than I mentioned I don't want any compensation and I was just sharing my experience and if I could get a gel and they were saying I need an appointment in a walk in place. That's how I came in the first place. Their were people available and refused to service me or address my nail issue. I knew this was bad when I read the reviews here. I'm not the only one. There was a lady their the first time upset and the vibe and energy in their was off. Beware. Careful as you get what you pay for. I will gladly pay the asking prices off normal nail salons and get quality and assurance behind their work. This place is a joke!!! I went in for a simple chrome powder nail manicure and they charged me $136 to literally get chrome powder over regular SNS. there was a strong language barrier given that i don't know spanish but my nail shape isn't consistent whatsoever and they literally look worse than before i came in. it's not hard to do a simple almond nail shape and they couldn't even do that. they are definitely the worst nails i've ever gotten and i will never come back. read more

Even though that's what I asked for when I went in the first time. I decided I will give them another chance so stay tuned for the results...Leo the manager called metro apologize after he saw the pictures on yelp although he saw my nails in person. I appreciated the apology. He offered me a refund or to redo the nails. The week was busy for me so I had to come back 7days later. Today I was with Annabel she was very professional she did have an electric sander and she also used the base powder which I've had done before and seems to help make the manicure last. Desperately in need of a mani/pedi spot, I have been searching and searching. This place is across the street from my building. Convenient--CHECK! I called ahead to see if they took walk-ins. They were busy, but they squeezed me in within 30 min. Accommodating--CHECK! I arrived, checked in, and was offered a drink (water, soda, WINE). I picked out my colors (they have a great selection), and was taken to my pedi chair. It is a basic pedicure. Nothing fancy, but it was relaxing. I am not a huge fan of the heel sander they use, but I can always say no. The girl was good and was very focused on the polish, making sure the paint was perfect. Next, I was taken for my mani. I got gel and the girl was very good. I was happy with the job she did! Again, she was very focused on the polish, which I appreciate. The place is clean, organized, and not too noisy. Paying my bill was simple. On Mon-Wed they have a $46 special for a gel mani and regular pedi. I am so happy I found a good nail shop in Miami and a place so close! Will be back!! This is the worst mani-pedi experience I had. The lady that did my pedi made my feet bleed very badly by wrongly cutting a nail and didn't have anything to clean after that. She used a nail polish remover as antibacterial .. I let you imagine the pain. In addition ton, she stained my new pants with oil and the didn't care all all- telling me that it was my his problem but my problem with her a that he didn't need my money because he was "so rich". I know Harmony Salon is mostly known for its nails, but that's not why I go there. I go there for the keratin treatment. So far, I have been there twice and loved it both times. The results were far better than I have had at other hair salons. My hair was stick straight for a whole month even when I air dried it. After a month, my hair was still mostly frizz free and straight-ish for another month, again, even when I air dried my hair. I will definitely be going back there to get keratin done every few months. read more

They are horrible. No customer service. I walked in last week after landing in Miami and realizing that my gel polish were chipped on two fingers. I had them done two days earlier somewhere else. When I walked it at 7:02, they close at 8PM. I wasn't greeted. The girl at the front actually walked off as I was walking in and never came back. Even when she did walk back towards me, she had a broom in her hands and never acknowledged me. I stood there for 5 mins with every single one of them just looking at me without saying a word to me. Finally after a full 5 mins of standing there; one asked "How can we help?" I told her what I needed and she told me that they were closing. This was almost a full hour before their closing time. I was in the salon for a manicure pedicure. After just ONE day, the gel (Shellac) peeled off of my manicure. I went in to show them the following day. I didn't have time that day (the day after), to redo my manicure, but wanted to go the following day for them to fix it. I called. And speaking to the owner, he was very rude, blamed me for the peeling Shellac, and told me he had no room today and to come on Monday. So, basically he told me I would have to go the whole weekend with chipped and peeling Shellac polish. He was very rude and the staff there is as well. No one speaks a word of English and if you do not speak Spanish, there's an instant attitude. Going to this salon is always unpleasant experience, there is a tension there that you can feel.
