My friend recommended it to me before (I have yet to book an appointment, but soon) and they have physical gift card that you can order. I believe I emailed them on a Wednesday and asked how long it would take. I spoke to Zach who told me it should get there, but if it didn't, I could come in and get it if it didn't arrive by Saturday. The birthday gathering was Saturday night. Zach was great with communicating with me and asked me to follow up with him. Thankfully, the card got there and I even saw he said he'd have driven one over if he had to. That's going above and beyond, which I'm grateful for. Every step of the way was easy and I didn't feel like a bother trying to get my last minute gift. It came in the cutest little card, too! Made me feel special and the gift wasn't even for me. Makes me excited to do business with them in the future!

I visited Asha Urban Baths in Sacramento, CA [2417 27th St] on Tuesday, 09/08/26, around 1:45 PM…read more I came here 15 minutes early, so that I was able to check in, fill out the necessary paperwork (waiver), and get an introductory feel for this establishment. The front office receptionist was sweet and provided a warm disposition. Next, I got settled in by providing my driver's license to exchange for a lock box with a key. Finally, I was directed to the space that had lockers, bathrooms, rooms for changing clothes, etc. I simply put my belongings up first, since I was informed I would start with my massage first. I opted for this package in advance: 50-Min Massage & 2-hour Bathhouse utilization. This offering was priced at $140.00. My appointment was set for 2:00 PM sharp. I went to the Green Room, where all massage reservations were held. The massage therapist that I selected online for the booking was Michael. Michael was incredibly wonderful. His techniques put my entire body in a state of rejuvenation. I almost wanted to fall asleep because the entire massage was so comforting and met expectations. Next, I proceeded to the entire bathhouse. The entire ambiance was filled with a lot of peace and tranquility. I was going between the warm pools and doing the cold plunges, as well as stepping into the steam room. There were moments when I also relaxed on the lounge chairs. The key was also to stay hydrated. Water was readily available with plastic cups, and guests were able to bring their own water bottles inside, too. The two hours went by so fast, because of how much I truly enjoyed this self-care day to myself. I'm so grateful that I discovered this business. I can say that I am completely in love with the services and offerings provided at Asha Urban Baths. The overall value was well worth it. Undoubtedly, I will be returning whenever I need another day of pure relaxation. I will be spreading the word!

It included 45 minutes in the salt room, a 50 minute massage, and time in the bath house. The salt room was great! The attendant provided thorough instructions and made a serious effort to make sure I was properly set up. They have great loungers, eye masks, ear plugs, and weighted blankets. The salt room is not a solo experience. There were 3 other customers in the salt room with me and unfortunately they were distracting. They got up multiple times to get water and walk around, which you're allowed to do but it brought me out of my relaxed state. It was slightly annoying but it's still an experience I would try again. Also want to acknowledge it isn't the fault of the workers but it made me realize your experience at Asha does depend on how other customers treat it. The massage was absolutely fabulous! My massage was with Michael, I did communicate that it was my first massage EVER and he was kind enough to thoroughly explain what to should expect. Absolutely no complaints at all! The bathhouse was cool. It felt a bit crowded, which I expect since it was Mother's Day weekend. I did not try out the different pools because it was very busy! A lot of people hanging around the edges of the pools and I didn't want to have to constantly ask people to get out of my way. The locker room was also very busy which I did expect because as I mentioned it was Mother's Day weekend. I do plan to go back to Asha, hopefully during the week or a weekend that doesn't land on a holiday.

When we got there, the couples room was already fully set up and ready for us, which we really appreciated. When you arrive, they have you pay before the massage, and they prefer cash--so we paid in cash. Even though our reservation was so last-minute, everything was prepared and ready when we walked in. Once in the room, they asked us to completely undress and lay down. Throughout the massage, you're covered with a large towel that they adjust to keep you covered at all times. The massage followed a full-body routine: starting with the back, then lower back, glutes, legs, and arms. They stepped out briefly to get a hot towel to wipe us down, then had us flip over. On the front side, they did a face massage with serum, along with head, neck, and shoulder massage, and then arms and legs again. Our session was exactly 60 minutes--no more, no less. Everything felt professional the entire time. Neither my husband nor I felt uncomfortable at any point. After the massage, they left the room to give us time to get dressed, which we appreciated. I had read reviews beforehand and knew they expect a tip. We gave $20 total, and one of them asked, "For two people?" My husband said yes. You could tell they were hoping for a larger tip, which we understand. The inside of the place is okay--you get what you pay for. It's an Asian-owned massage spot, and overall, it was a good experience.
