Suki is such a life saver! She goes beyond just a massage. Her communication is excellent! Upon arrival she gets an understanding of what is going on and exactly she needs to focus on. She offers many different options for healing. She has the most welcoming environment. She made sure to let me know that it's going to take some time to work on my healing process (I have terrible sciatica) I also had limited range motion when it came to moving my neck. She focused on my areas that hurt me real bad. I do want to say it was uncomfortable as far as the pain relief goes but she did keep communicating with me to let me know this is part of the process and within a few days I should be feeling a bit better and some relief. After my appointment over the weekend, the following morning my neck and shoulders felt SO much better. My pain from my sciatica is still present but I know it will take several sessions before I am feeling better. Service Requested: one hour massage for $130. Since it was my first visit, she asked what my past experience was with massage therapy and what my needs were. She explained that she was going to provide deep tissue massage to address knots in my neck and shoulders. She also agreed to focus only on neck, shoulders, upper back as I requested. Quality: Delivered massage as requested. Also found knots in my lower back/pelvis area. She worked on that area after I gave approval. Also provided cupping to upper back, after I approved. I've never had deep tissue in pelvic area and was somewhat painful but felt better a couple of days later, as she predicted. Cupping was added plus and was included in price of massage. No extra fee! Been twice now and would definitely recommend. Suki is very nice and easy to communicate with. But make no mistake. She goes in... hard. I was astonished at her strength.It became evident very quickly that she is a very experienced masseuse. You get the oils and the relaxing atmosphere but her massage really digs in to areas that really need to be worked. Having had other massages that had a lighter touch I wasn't sure how to take this so I kept quiet the first time and was uncomfortable a few times with the amount of pressure applied. I am sure she would have adjusted the pressure so that was on me. Second time around I communicated better and was an all around more pleasant experience. I like that the atmosphere is very relaxed. We chatted and made small talk throughout the massage which took things from an ethereal plane down to a more grounded experience. Suki gave me an amazing, restorative deep tissue massage that made my pain feel so much better after. She is very strong and provided me with the deepest massage I've ever received.
