Never I mean Never buy a used tire from these people for one they are rude to customers and two they sell you used tires with holes and when you return to tell them that they look at you like you are crazy. Bought two tires from here 12/20/25. While I was waiting to get the tires put on, they told me they could not replace one of them because there was an issue with my valve stem. They took me out to the vehicle to show me what they were talking about and it wasn't even my car. Should have been my sign to leave, but I was in dire need of the tires immediately. One month goes by and 1/20/26, one of the tires goes flat. I call but they are closed and left a message. Call back the next day and was told that it depended on why it was flat because the warranty doesn't cover everything. That's understandable, but then I was told the warranty did not apply because it was technically 31 days. This means, regardless of why the tire was flat, I was going to have to pay anyway. The issue was not just what he said and the answer he gave, but his rude attitude when he said it. ONE DAY. Why not "you know what, it is one day... bring it down and we will look at it and if it is covered by the warranty, we'll take care of it." I was warned about this place but did not listen. One of my employees told me that he could get a good deal on tires from hardings auto sales. i sent the employee down there to purchase 3 nitto crosstek 2, 235-55-19 mts tires. the employee speaks limited english. the employee came back with three mismatched tires. i asked the employee to immediately return the tires to hardings auto. the tires were in our possession for less than 20 minutes. hardings refused to take the tires back for a refund. it is apparent that hardings take advantage of those less fortunate who may have english as a second language. buyer beware. these guys define the negative connotations around the term "used car salesmen" Uno de mis empleados me dijo que podía obtener una buena oferta en llantas de Hardings Auto Sales. I literally sat here for 2 hours after the young man told me it will only take 15 to get my new tire. I was the first person here other people came in behind me and were seen and I still was sitting not one time during the two hour wait did he confirm to me as to why the tire was taking so long. Don't buy a car from Harding's auto they sold me a car for 5300 radiator was filled with stop leak he got from auction didn't check wouldn't give no warranty. All tires were dry rotten don't want to see no one get a deal like this sells car as is no way to do business. Not to mention head gasket, two cooling fans, thermostat, o2 sensor, crankshaft sensor, and much more. Hands down the best tire shop in Charlottesville! For the last year now, everyone in my household has been taking our vehicles to Harding every time we've needed tires. The service is as professional as it is quick! They have every different tire size on hand, you never have to wait, and the staff is super knowledgable and friendly! They are completely honest with you, no BS! Also, the vehicles they sell on their lot are for a better price then anywhere in town! I've double checked! So really, do yourself a favor and go to Harding's for your tires! I urge you to go there simply because they deserve to be successful.
