I overheard the owner tell another party he originally intended this spot to be fast food, but after the sign was ordered he decided to go full service. That's why there's a full Mexican menu. A "you pick two" section has two entree items plundered beans and rice for $12-a good value. I opted for that--with a chicken taco--and it was filling. (I'd already feasted on complemented chips and salsa.)
