You don't often get a friendly smile while going through the drive-through any place you go now. I just went through Hardees in Oshkosh on 8/23/25 at 6:13 p.m, and was greeted by 3 friendly teens. All who said hello, they made eye contact and said thank you over and over again, and even sorry that they had to park me while I waited for my large order of chicken tenders. I fully expected a wait, and I was happy to do so with such friendly service. Such a rarity in these days deserves a good review! I hope service can soon get back to being customer friendly at other fast food establishments too! Thank you Hardees for employing a great group and I hope they have some great futures ahead of them! I will add to the review left by Darlene Z. on 3/13/2025. My inclination when she told me about this incident was to drive to Oshkosh and demand an explanation and apology for the deplorable treatment of my parents . Whomever thought this was an acceptable way to treat them, should at the least be terminated from employment in a food SERVICE position . IN addition, if the two employees who witnessed the stated behavior did not report the interaction, they as well are responsible and should at the least be reprimanded. No one, and I mean NO ONE deserves to be spoken to in this belligerent and threatening manner, least of my parents who are both in their 80's. They simply wanted to have a quick sit down meal between appointments on a Friday afternoon. When a restaurant obliges this behavior as acceptable, you have lost any desire I have to ever patronize your business again. Dining experience on 03/08/2025. Where do I start? Our overall experience was horrible. At the counter, I was not greeted, my order was not repeated to make sure all items were included, no Senior/Military discounts were offered, I did not receive a "thank you". There were only three other patrons in the building besides my husband and I and the staff - one lone diner and a middle aged couple. I put in our order while my husband used the restroom. I was told "the order will be brought to you" so I chose a booth. I got our beverages, napkins and catsup cups and seated myself. What followed was a nightmare! We sat at our table for almost 10 min. waiting for our food to be brought to us. Finally I approached the service counter. No one came to ask what I wanted so I very loudly stated "where is our food"? Several people just looked at me. One man came from the work area in back and began shouting at me saying "I gave you your food"! I stated that he did not do that and furthermore another person (whom I pointed to) took my order and said "the food will be brought to you". The man I was dealing with kept shouting at me "I took your order"! I kept stating "you did not" and again indicated the young woman who did. This same young woman never spoke up saying that I was correct and that she did take my order. I have never experienced a situation like this, it was simply ridiculous because I believe I do recognize a young woman verses a middle aged male! What followed was the most awful experience I have ever had in a dining establishment. I was screamed at by the male employee, shaking his finger at me and getting right into my face. He stated "I took your order", I responded "you did not, that young lady did (as I pointed to her- with no response from same). Several times this was repeated by the male employee and myself. Finally the male employee grabbed a small wrinkled bag from the "drive through" area, threw it at me and said "there's your food". I looked into the bag and did not see French fries which I immediately mentioned. The same male employee went to the fryer and came and threw a bag (not the medium size I ordered) at me saying "here's your fries" ! As a side note-the food was terrible, cool French fries, cooI fish, soggy bun and very wilted lettuce - a horrible sandwich./meal. Had my husband and I been in a position to do so we would have thrown the food out. As it was, we were very hungry and had an urgent appointment to be at in just a few minutes. I have NEVER been so insulted and mistreated in any public place in my entire life. The food was awful the service was unbelievably horrid and disgusting. I will never enter that establishment again. Plus I intend to "spread the word" about my horrible experience with that same Hardee's establishment. I would appreciate a response from someone regarding this experience. read more

The Hardee's on 44 is spotless the staff are very nice. And there's elderly woman thats there at lunch she is a blast. She greets you and brings out your order. She's Like having a extra grandma she knows the regulars names. Nice touch read more

I have had food from this location many times and had no problem. I got food in the drive thru, Fries and a Milkshake I believe to be April 13th In the afternoon. I eat my food as normal and carry on with my day, A couple hours later Im having severe stomach pains and nausea. Eventually I vomit all of the food within 5-12 hours as My body was rejecting it. I basically got food poisoning from this food/place and was sick for 2 days. I was severely sick after consuming this food so I would not recommend eating at this location. Workers need to wash their hands or the milkshake mix was contaminated by bacteria. read more

Absolutely disgusting the health department should shut them down and rest assured I will be calling tomorrow! My family and I went to stop in around 8 PM for a meal. My son and I went to wash our hands prior to ordering our food and out came the cook as we opened the door and he finished up #1 and did NOT wash his hands! Absolutely disgusting!!! He was going in the back to cook our food. When we told the lady in front she just stared at us. I am ready to vomit! I will also be going to their Corporate site to share this! I was in there Sunday April 10th, and was left extremely disturbed, sick to my stomach, and without appetite. I do not recall the name of the exact burger I ate, or attempted to eat, however I do know that we spent over $30 for 2 meals. We ordered in the drive through, however we lived about 30 minutes away and wanted to eat our food before we got home while it was hot. So we pulled right around the drive through into the parking lot. As we were eating, I had already taken a bite of my burger and was heading for the second and out of the corner of my eye I see a dead bug just hanging out stuck on my lettuce, and had that piece of lettuce NOT been sticking out of my burger I wouldn't have thought twice about eating it. I immediatly felt as though I was going to throw up, stopped eating everything and took all the food back in. I proceeded to the check out and showed the cashier, I believe her name was Cassie, (sweet girl totally 100 percent embarrassed for the situation and repeatedly appologized) in which case she sympathized and gave me a full refund on both meals. Though the cashier was pleasant in this terrible experience, over all I will not be back to this location! read more

I've always loved Hardee's Frisco Burger but my last experience with one of their restaurants out East was so bad that I had been hesitant to go back. Stopped into this one after the OshKosh air show as it was across the street.The Frisco burger was great, as it often is, but what really struck me was the staff. They were so cheerful and helpful--it really stood out. read more

Fan of their breakfast items. Way better tasting than McDonalds and worth the money. Thickburgers, while some taste great, very pricey and you might as well go to Johnny Rockets or Red Robin. Service, other than a few long time employee's, most of the others lack severally in service. They are not friendly and you can tell they don't care. Location is good and plenty of parking for RV's, Campers, trucks etc. Watch out though during any big local events June through August, lane closures, lots of traffic, very busy. read more

Tidy dining room and pleasant staff and pretty good food make for a pleasant dining experience. Hardee's had changed a lot since the days of being a clone of Mickey D's but they have changed for the better. The menu is vast, Burgers, Chicken, Hot Beef, Breakfast items, and Hot Ham and Cheese make their menu one of the biggest and more chance of pleasing more people. I've tried just about everything and I must say it's all pretty good. Whether its breakfast lunch or dinner, most anything you try is tasty. They make the BEST breakfast biscuits out there, nobody's come close. The burgers are charcoal broiled supposedly and have a good flavor and much bigger than some of the paper thin burgers found elsewhere. The roast beef rivals Arbys, the chicken, lightly breaded and perfectly seasoned and the Hot ham and cheese is to die for. The only draw back is the pricing is getting up there. There is no so called Value meal much less dollar items, that isn't their thing. Higher quality good portions is...All in all you can't go wrong with any of the menu items, they are all pretty darned good! The drive thru is among the best as the ladies working there have been there for years, they know what they are doing and do it well! Three cheers for Hardees Oshkosh. My experience has been at the Jackson St. Location, but the South side location I'm sure is just as good AND totally floor to ceiling remodel as of 10/5/16, they really keep their places fresh and new. read more

I have always enjoyed your cinnamon raisin biscuits on my way to the chemo clinic in Oshkosh. But lately I have a problem with them because WHERE are the raisins? We came between 8am or 9am. They were packed with senior citizens! I'm not sure whether this is a regular thing or just so happened to be a gathering on the day we were in. Either way, they were all having a great time, very talkative and smiling. That ultimately made my experience better. Our food came out really hot, really fresh. The bathrooms smelled nice and were tidy. The associates were basic, although they seemed to be providing table service coffee refills to to other guests. The sweet tea was delicious. The soda selection was great. I'd stop in again if I was in the area. read more
