Preston gleefully took my order, asked me how my day was going, and what ensued has to be one of the most pleasant, empathetic and amazing fast/fresh prepared burgers of my life. After taking my order, and double checking to make sure that I didn't want fries, I explained that I just needed the protein after my long flight back to AL. I had mentioned that I had just landed from almost 3 months of travel to finally get back to OCR and patiently awaiting the opening of my local WhataB. There was a huge order in front of me, and Preston let me know it might be a minute. Then like the burger fairy godfather Preston walked the burger over to me lickety split, saying "oh it's just one burger I asked the cook to VIP it". Choice. Let Preston fly... this guys got wings.

My first Korean corn dog! Whoop whoop!…read more We were trying to grab a bite to eat before heading to my sister-in-law's house and, on a whim, decided we were up to try something new. Yeti Dog seemed like it would be a good fit for our location and time constraints. This is a small restaurant located in a large shopping center. Inside is a countertop and maybe five small tables; you order at the register and food is brought out when it's ready. Everything inside looked clean. I gotta give major props to the employee who helped us; she was a younger lady with short blonde hair who gave great recommendations without being pushy and who gave us a great overview of what to expect and what was popular. Definitely a perfect help for a neophyte like me to Korean corn dogs! My husband chickened out on being adventures and instead ordered Korean fried chicken tenders and fries. I ultimately decided on an all beef dog with potato pieces in the batter. No sugar dusting for me, though the employee tipped me off to the fact that there's dusting sugar on the table should I want to try it. I got a side of cheese corn to complete my meal. Our food came out quickly and was absolutely fresh. I went with a kind of "normie" combination for my corn dog but I really liked it and will be back to try more adventurous combos. The batter was a nice balance of not too sweet and perfectly fluffy. The potatoes were lightly crispy and made the texture really fun. The dog inside was absolutely enormous and had a great beef flavor. I got the Yeti Yum sauce to dip; it was sweet, very subtly spicy, and altogether very tasty. Trying a small dusting of the sugar revealed it's also a good addition. I'll order it next time! The cheese corn was super tasty, too. Creamy, slightly sweet, slightly spicy, and ooey gooey. Would definitely order again! Hubs' tenders were a teeny bit less successful. He said they tasted like frozen-fried, but good frozen-fried tenders. He did really like the fries that accompanied and I agree; they compare favorably to McDonald's fries. The ranch dipping sauce is more salad dressing-y than buttermilk, which was a little disappointing, but not a deal breaker. Overall, really enjoyed my first try at a Korean corn dog. Will return for more goodness - I'm excited to try out other combinations now that I know it's a hit! :)
