Sides include French fries and onion rings with deli food like chicken salad is available. On every Wednesday, the chef offers a Southern cuisine menu that changes week by week. They serve the special from 11-2 or until they sell out. They provide the option to call in, stop by to prepay, or walk-in based on what's available after pre-orders. Today's soul food menu consisted of baked chicken over rice, collard greens, macaroni and cheese and cornbread for $14.99. The portions size was huge, enough to eat twice from the plate. The food was served in Styrofoam plates with dividers with individual wrapped utensils and salt & pepper packets. Condiments were available as well. Drink was not included, but since the location is inside a gas station, there was many options to choose from. The baked chicken was a chicken breast that was bigger than the size of my hand. The chicken was so moist and tender, which made it easier to chew. Gravy was poured on top of the seasoned, fluffy yellow rice and went perfect for the entire dish. The greens are full of flavor and pair so well with the semi-sweet cornbread square. The macaroni and cheese was not as moist and cheesy as I would like but I eat it and enjoyed. The parking lot and pump area looks like it doesn't get regularly swept up and debris removed. The inside floors need a good sweep & mop as well. I visited in the morning hours, normally an overnight clean would still be looking good at this hour. Bathrooms were ok and the outside patio tables were clean but the ground is covered with cigarette butts. Maintenance might be an issue here. First pump I tried to use was out of commission. At the fountain drink station the cubed ice maker was not working and the soft drinks weren't being carbonated at all. The employee at the counter was friendly.

The coffee station is impressive too, with so many creamers, flavors, and toppings that you can customize your drink just the way you like it. I also loved the fresh roasted nuts--warm pecans, cashews, and other varieties that smelled amazing and tasted fresh. The store itself is huge and well organized, making it easy to browse without feeling crowded. As an EV owner, I was especially happy that I could charge my Ford F-150 Lightning while taking a break.
