All I wanted was a cold carbonated beverage. I should have stuck with the drive-thru. I'm not much of a fast-food person, but from what I've read, as quickly as some chains are moving away from big menu offerings, Hardees seems to be going the opposite direction. When did they start offering a menu of things you'd find at the other fast food spots that don't specialize in burgers or chicken? I thought I had walked into a different place. All I could see was the menu of nachos, tacos, burritos, quesadillas and the like. Moreover, to make sure I became a victim of the marketing, that half of the menu had brighter colors and bigger pictures. Pavlov had the right idea, I guess. I should have stuck with the coke, but was intrigued enough to get a small order of the poppers. They aren't the half jalapeno stuffed with cheese and deep-fried though, or they would have been if you didn't first take away the half jalapeno and then chop it into small pieces, mix it with cheese and deep-fry that. It comes with ranch dressing. Not healthy, but still okay. Fortunately, it wasn't enough to get me to start craving fast food, but was an interesting change of pace. When I walked out it was then I noticed the Hardee's sign had "Red Burrito" under it. There's something else I didn't know, a fast food place creating a sub-specialty fast food place. Hard to be a marketing victim when you aren't paying attention to it. So while I wasn't manipulated when I walked in, I was by the time I walked out. Next time, I'll stop at a gas station. Avoid this restaurant at all cost. I ordered one famous star with cheese in the drive thru. I was never told the total. As I tapped to pay I saw a balance of 11.40. for one sandwich that was priced high. I mentioned it to the cashier, she reads back my order and it's completely wrong. It had two sandwiches and a drink another item I'm not familiar with. I told them that they chargeed me for the wrong order. The manager takes over and admits my order was not in the system. I even tried working with them stating that if they take out one of the sandwiches and replace it with my star burger I would ececpt it as a compromise. The manager claimed they couldn't do that and slammed the drive thru window and walks off. I drove around to the parking lot and go inside. The manager said to me why did you leave the drive thru, now I can't help you at all, then continues with F**k this b***hit I quit. And I watch her walk out the front door get into her car, and drive off. They just left me standing there. All of the employees are now just standing around staring at me. About 7 min go by and the manager then comes back, parks her car, and walks in. Still claims their absolutely nothing she can do to fix this situation. Suddenly what appeared to be a customer dressed in nurses scrubs walks behind the counter and joins the manager to add to the already disasterius service. She asked for my phone walks completely out of my line of sight and comes back with a receipt that looks like a refund, but she was being politely rude. She says have a great day! I try to ask another question and get the same answer, have a nice day. Today I learned that the woman in nurse scubs was the daytime manager. I guess you have to be a manager to eat at this Hardee's. The service was quite hostile, while inside I notice that the kitchen was scrubbing the floors and had a lot of equipment pulled out from the walls. It's 8pm. This isn't even the right way to be treating customers or employees. The only improvement that could be made is for the Hardee's corporate office to come in and audit them. It's highly suspicious that the sandwich was never accounted for on the pos system. In some cases this is typical of skimming tills. This restaurant gave me the absolute worst service I've ever recived iny life. They suck really bad. One thing is clear they don't care about any of their customers, my bet they treat their employees even worse. I'm pursuing this until someone outside this franchise takes a look into this visit. read more

WARNING: The food here is worse than any other Hardee's in the state. Mainly due to their employees. If you go here, look around at who's preparing your food. Last time I went, there were cookies on the floor, and the manager walked out. Hopefully they have new staff. read more

I use to think the Hardees in Hamlet was the best for breakfast hands down. Not anymore. The last 3 times I've been there, my order was screwed up. I ordered a sausage and gravy biscuit this morning and I got a sausage biscuit with, maybe, a half teaspoon of gravy slapped on it. Then the sarcastic employee at the window wanted to argue with me. I guess it is just a gravy biscuit now. According to the person at the window, there isn't sausage in the gravy! Really? Then what the hell have I been eating all these years that I thought was pieces of sausage? Never in all my life has this happened. When you try to talk to them, you are wrong, and there are 2 or 3 more there to support the fact that you're wrong, although they heard nothing. I will not go back to that one. read more

I sat at the drive-through speaker for 15 minutes and wasted my whole lunch because nobody came to the speaker to take my order.

We went through the drive thru tonight. We placed our order drove around and paid. We waited 10min to get our food. We drove home (5min away) and took our food out and started eating. DISGUSTING is putting it mildly. My wife's onion rings were a combo of old and hard rings mixed with 2-3 fresh ones. My fries were old, cold and chewy. I got the monster burger and it to was cold and old tasting. So what exactly did I wait 10min for? This location SUCKS. Bad food and poor customer service. Will NOT be back. read more

Just left Hardee's drive thru in Hamlet, NC and my order was not correct. I went back on the inside to advise and show proof of purchase. After getting what I thought would be the correct honey butter bacon, egg and cheese biscuit I initially ordered, I proceeded to drive away. To my disappointment, I drove off too soon and wasn't in a position to turn around so I called and surprisingly talked the General Manager who was RUDE!!! I advised that when I brought my biscuit back in, they loaded the biscuit down with honey butter on the inside and the entire biscuit just fell apart when I picked it up to try to eat it! I questioned since when did they make it like that and she very rudely and condescendingly replied, "We've always made them that way!" I beg to differ!! I get them all the time at other Hardee's and they don't fall apart. I told the "General Manager" that her attitude was very rude and condescending and I will try to get contact info of the manager over her and she said, "Go Ahead". So I will be researching to get a contact. This is no way to treat and serve paying customers that keep you employed! P.S. I honestly don't know how this place is still open. What they serve isn't food. If you're low on rubber for some odd reason order the chicken tenders. You're better off grabbing a snack from goodwill. Breaded onion rings should be a bit crunchy, am I right? Not coated in a muck that leaves a doughy residue on your fingers. And I don't know if you can even call their double cheeseburger a double cheeseburger. My goodness does it look delicious in the window, a nice juicy burger about 4 inches tall just an overall stud but when it was brought to the table I thought that was the cookie from the combo they offer just wrapped in a burger wrap. Nope, it was the "burger" smashed beyond recognition. I felt sorry for that so-called burger he looked so fine in the photos I don't know what they did to him. In short go to the laundromat across the street eat some tide pods I'm sure you'll enjoy that a tad more than this Hardy's Bon appétit! read more
