Stopped by the drive through just before 6 pm this evening. The woman in the speaker took my order and asked if I would like anything else. I said "Maybe, does the Cinnamon Apple Crisp come with nuts"? She replied "No". I said "I would like two please and that will be all". Then she stated "It has cinnamon, apples, and bread". Up until this point my experience was great. With a condescending tone she asked "Why would it have nuts"? My response was "Just cancel the order then". And I left. There's a logic to why I asked. Desserts such as this often have chopped walnuts or maybe pecans. I couldn't tell from the menu picture if I was looking at a crumb topping or chopped nuts. I have to be careful of nuts because my husband has a nut allergy.
When I deal with a cashier, order taker, salesperson, or such, I actually don't like them being too friendly. I like to handle the transaction quickly and with little interaction. But I absolutely despise when I'm treated like my question is stupid. This is the last time I will visit this location or possibly any other Arby's. There are faster and less expensive alternatives. read more
