The food tastes as it should if you get it in a timely manner. Hopefully it isn't cold by then. Expect to wait up to or over an hour if you have that kind of time. If you order in the drive thru & are told to wait for them to bring it out you mind as well come inside because they will forget about you. Forget about getting a refund if you ask for one because you will be told to call customer service since they can't process it for you. Just overall don't even bother. Save yourself the headache & time & just go to the Southern Pines location. I have given this location multiple tries just hoping that they can get it together but each time I visit reminds me why I shouldn't have. read more

the food was okay other than having chewy stringy pieces in the chicken, not tossing the chicken just squirting it on. the service was absolutely terrible, we had a sauce that had a cut in it which was fine until we're back up to the counter just for them to say "well throw it away" with a attitude. when we were done eating the trash can was full, multiple different workers walked past it and didn't change it. we sat the tray on the full trash can because it wouldn't fit, we could've just left it on the table for you to clean. We were filling up our drinks and they proceeded to say "oh i know who put that on there people are just so ignorant, people are ignorant " then proceeded to point out all the other trash cans in the building like we work there and know where all the other trash cans are. The attitude makes you look trashy and leaving all the trash cans until they get full to the point makes the store look shitty, your job is to ring people up and take the trash out when it gets full, maybe if you took the trash out like you were supposed to maybe it wouldn't have been a problem but you cant just call people ignorant because your lazy ass didn't take out the trash. read more

Don't eat here often but I tried the chicken philly it was tasty and juicy not dry at all. It was very filling and not badly priced with a drink and fries. Staff was friendly and quick. Just would like to say thank to everyone who works a this Zaxby's and keep up the good work. I looking forward to visiting more often. read more

I can't even give one star today. One vehicle was in front of me ordering after they ordered it took 10 minutes for me to be ask to order . After I pulled up and payed I was ask to pull forward ( not uncommon anywhere these days so no big deal right ) wrong it took me 22 minutes to get my food brought out to me , get home didn't have my juice for the kids meal and the 2 chicken sandwich's didn't have tomatoes or lettuce and the chicken looked like it was one piece cut in half and used on both sandwich's. It was my first time eating here, and I was not impressed with the traditional wings I ordered. The wings were so tiny and over cooked it was like eating jerkey. The sauce however was tasty. I dont know if I would eat here again. read more

I always stop at this Zaxby's on the way home from the beach. Its on the decline. The food is still good, but lately the restaurant is just dirty. Tables are not clean and the floor sticky. On my last visit, the drink machine was out of ice and one of the workers tried to show me how to get the ice to work, I had to explain to him I know how to use it and its out. I had to use a different machine for the ice. Then I wanted Cherry / Vanilla Diet Coke, of course, Diet Coke was out too. I am sure I will be back, I really hope they improve. My parents recently had a similar experience too. read more

I don't see what the hype is all about. The chicken wasn't good and it had no flavor. It took way to long. If the line Cooks would have been paying attention to cooking instead of shadow boxing and then dancing I probably would have gotten my food faster and with so kind of flavor. Cost too much and the food is fair. The wings are just tossed into a box and they put what they call the zaxby sauce in with the wings...messy. Spent $39 on a three person order, by comparison the next day i went and bought four big ribeyes three baked potatoes and salad fixings at the Food Lion for $42.
