Key lime cake straight fire

10/10. They didn't have to go that hard. Everything was so good and full of flavor. We will definitely be back. Key lime cake was amazing and the staff was sweet and funny

The menu for Wednesday! You can't go wrong with the meatloaf, rice and gravy, and turnip greens. The tea or kool-aid are good

I was on my way back to the beach and I cut through this town and I noticed this place as I drove…read moreby on my way there the day before, so I made a mental note to stop on my way home which I did. And I'm glad I did It was really good what I would call Southern soul food.

I was in town around lunch time and decided to stop. Customer service was excellent even though…read morethey were busy. You can call ahead or stop to order. The food is made fresh and the wait time is not ridiculous. The atmosphere is nice and clean and very welcoming. I ordered the ranch wings basket with macaroni and cheese, and the philly cheesesteak eggroll since they're famous for their eggrolls. The macaroni and cheese was really good. I love that it was flavorful and cheesy, and the noodles were not overcooked. The cut wings were big and dusted with ranch seasoning. They were good, but I have a thing about big wings. The philly eggroll was so flavorful and really good. It's served hot so be careful. The portions are decent as well, especially for the eggrolls. I also ordered a lemonade because I think those are popular as well. They have a variety of flavors that you can add to the lemonade. I chose watermelon and it was absolutely delicious. If I'm back in the area, I may try something different. I overheard others ordering the oxtails so they are probably good and I would be interested in trying them.

We got the crab cake platter, blackened catfish platter, honey pecan chicken roll, crab cake…read moresandwich, and the white russian pecan pie. After having the crab cake sandwich we would recommend doing the platter because the bread overpowers the crab cake. Everything was incredible, the flavors, consistency, and quality. It is for sure comfort food but nothing sits heavy and feels super fresh. Not a fan of coleslaw but it was super yummy and great corn fritters for our first time having them. Service was great. Ambiance was super informal and adds to the vibe of what you're eating. Also unrelated but the cashier/server has a super calming energy/presence/voice which totally added to the vibe

Very relaxing atmosphere. They were playing Christian music, which I have to say is one of the first times I've experienced that in a restaurant. I enjoyed it. I had the double smash burger with grilled onions, American cheese and bacon jam. This came with fries. I found the jam a little bit too sweet, but I'm not keen on sweet being with savory. Other than this, the food was good. The fries were excellent. Hubby had the grilled chicken with fries and mac & cheese. That also came with a biscuit. He enjoyed the chicken breast & the fries. He found the mac & cheese a little dry because of all the breading. As for the biscuit, it was dense and he prefers biscuits to be flaky. Regardless, we both would not be opposed to eating there again, trying something else on the menu, the next time we are passing through.

Service & Ambiance Grits did not disappoint…read more Top notch Mimosa Flight : Gold Star Will definitely come back for lunch/dinner

Definitely a nice vibe with great decor and music. Food took a while to come out and wasn't bright…read moreto the table at the same time. My friends both got turkey wings and I got the lamb chops. One of them also got a to go meal. The to go meal arrived before everything. They were done eating by the time my lamb chops came out so I just boxed it to go. Our server was very attentive to some patrons, we were not them. When we asked about the crab cake appetizer, we were told it came with 3 cakes and the server even said that was great because there were 3 of us and everyone could try one. We ordered them. It came with 2. We asked the food runner about it and he said, nope, always with 2. We didn't say anything else about it, we'll share. The server comes to us and says she never said it came with 3. We had never been to this restaurant. We ordered 3 appetizers, food and drink. We're not trying to get over on you for a crab cake. Apologize for the misinformation instead of doubling down. Why would we make that up? It's not the establishment's fault, definitely the server. Good customer service would've been, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, I had them put another in for you. Or, just leave it alone. We had. My friends enjoyed their food. The appetizers were really all I could judge from a dine in experience. The Everything green dip was my favorite. I ended up giving my boxed up dinner to my son. It had just taken so long to receive it and I was over it by the time we left. They also said that mine took so long because I'd ordered my lamb chops well done. But, to that I say to bring all the meals out at the same time still!
