This is the best Hardees I have ever been to. The food is always good. I refused to eat at any other Hardee's whenever I'm headed down 58. The biscuit are hot and soft not hard and crumbly.

This particular Hardee's has lunch bingo every Wednesday. He place was packed with more "senior" people. It was a happening place. I had t eaten in this fast food establishment for several years. I was hungry and looking for a bigger. Was drawn to the $5 meal - spicy chicken sandwich for hubby and double burger for me. When we got the order I laughed on the inside. The darn sandwiches were micro-sized. Look at the photo below. The place was clean and friendly staff.two stars for false advertising. It looked like a toddler grabbed a fist full of fries and dumped it in the box. Needless to say we wolfed down our food pretty darn quickly.

This was my first trip to Hardee's in quite a while. Just needed something snacky, so I went with the jumbo chili dog of course. It was smoking hot which is good for fast food for a change. Employees were very nice and service was quick. The dog was big and sloppy with mustard and onions and chili of course. I know it is a sin to some, but I added a dab of ketchup also. Shhhhhhh Overall good drive thru experience. I would stop by again if in the area.

    We beat the rush.

Best Hardee's in the area. Will drive from Franklin for normal customer service, and food quality. Beware of the one in Franklin!

My wife had the Cobb salad and added a burger patty..she loved it! I had the mushroom swiss burger( double w/pink ) and goodness it was delish and I had the side salad which was very refreshing.. Genesee cream ale for desert and the wife absolutely loves the margarita on draft. Thank You Cook's staff for amazeball service and great food!

The staff were very nice and you could tell they all got along very well, we had a few different servers because they were all helping and being attentive. We appreciated that. If we ever did come back (visiting from NC), it would be for that. Negative: the food just wasn't good. It was alright. The gravy wasn't what I was expecting- like thin and watery, which is just a personal preference but it tasted vinegary? . My burger taste wise was good and filling. Cheese was melted and yummy, I did not like the bun, again personal preference and all that. Had the Brussels sprouts for app, partner didn't like it, I believe it was the sauce again vinegary but I didn't mind them. It was a nice surprise. Partner also had chili hot dog which looked amazing ; also just tasted alright. Overall nothing to rave about.

The burgers are absolutely amazing. My favorite was the Greg Brady: a smashed burger topped with house-made mac & cheese, American cheese, and BBQ potato chips. It sounds over the top, but somehow it all works perfectly. A friend enjoyed the Chiflet, topped with applewood-smoked bacon, a sunny-side-up egg, and American cheese. A couple others tried the special burgers of the day, and they were all a hit as well. We all upgraded to double patties, and it was hands-down the best decision. The sweet potato fries were also delicious and the perfect side. Customer service was also amazing! Everyone was super helpful and attentive both of the times we were there. If you're in Norfolk and craving a great burger, don't miss this place. We'll definitely be back!

Price point was about $16 for a burger and fries without a drink. We ordered the regular cheeseburger, the Cowboy (bacon, BBQ sauce, and American cheese), the Cobra Kai (cream cheese, pickled jalapeños, and jalapeño jelly), and the Classic Jack (caramelized onions, JB sauce, and dill pickles). Everything tasted solid and came out hot. The restaurant itself is very small and does not seem ideal for larger groups. Despite this, I loved the ambiance, it has a dive bar vibe with lots of notes on dollar bills on the walls that were fun to read. I will be coming back again when in the area! A special shoutout to the waitress with the bridge piercing. She was friendly, accommodating, and quick with service, which really stood out.

4.5 Stopped in for…read morelunch around 12:00 PM on a Friday. Street parking only. I didn't notice any meters, but I could imagine parking being tougher during a big event. Not local, so just something to be aware of. First impression is strong. Specials, awards, and a "Top 25 Burger in the U.S. (2021)" recognition are clearly displayed when you walk in. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality and ambition of the food. The interior is well thought out. Heavy gold-and-black design with light brown accent chairs gives it a polished, upscale feel without being flashy. Leather seating is in great shape, and the tall ceilings paired with black vertical boards make the space feel larger than it is. Lighting is excellent, especially considering there are very few windows. Music is smooth and casual, though to some it could be turned down just a notch. The kitchen is semi-open behind a half wall, which adds to the experience early on as cooking smells build anticipation. Toward the end of my visit, the space did get slightly smoky. I arrived to an empty restaurant, but by the time I left there were around 20-25 people dining. Service was a highlight. Randy showed exceptional hospitality and checked in consistently without hovering. Food hit the table in about six minutes, which is impressive, even considering I was the only guest at first. I ordered the Major Way burger with sautéed onions, bacon, and their house drip sauce. The patty came out piping hot with a great exterior sear, though the interior flavor relies heavily on the sauce. The onions were almost cold, which stood out against the hot patty. The sauce is excellent, creamy with a light spice, and it absolutely carries the burger. Without it, the burger would feel underwhelming by comparison. The bun could benefit from toasting, as the bun struggled to hold everything together. Lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp. If ordering to go, I'd recommend getting the buns on the side. Traditional wings were done right. Crispy outside, moist inside, and good-sized whole wings. They're essentially well-executed fried chicken wings. While very good, I feel like some seasoning may be burning off in the fryer. I'd love to compare these to their sticky or "everything" wings. Colossal shrimp was excellent. Great batter, excellent house sauce, and perfectly cooked with real texture. The seasoning shines here without tasting burnt. The fries were standout. Easily some of the best I've had in a while. Skinny, twice-fried, fresh-cut potatoes with a (I think) honey BBQ dusting. I intentionally ordered a smaller portion so the photo isn't portioned to size. House-made fruit punch was fantastic. Sweet, clean, and refreshing without that artificial coating you get from bottled drinks. I also appreciate their use of paper bowls and plates instead of styrofoam. The restaurant was clean top to bottom, including the bathrooms, which is always a strong indicator of good management. Overall, this place punches well above its weight. In a larger city, food at this level would easily cost 2.5-5x more. If you're spending lunch money at major fast-food chains nearby, redirect it here. You'll leave full and without that post-fast-food regret.
