About this particular McDonald's. I am a white woman. Racist is all I can say. I have a family of 6. Ordered on the app. walked in they had 4 5 dollar meals packed in one bag paper bag. Not a DoorDash bag or individual bags for the 5 dollar meals. Missing cups and a happy meal plus a large mocha frappe. So I asked for the cups and told them they were missing a large mocha frappe. They said they don't have mocha frappes. Didn't ask if I wanted anything different or anything. So the girl handed me the cups for the fountain drinks.. I walked around the corner to get the drinks. Number 1 my bag ripped before I got to the drinks. Number 2, they had no Dr Pepper which I ordered. I walked back around the corner and told them my bag ripped. The supervisor walked over and said, that's not our fault it's yours, idk why you were walking over here anyways. I said ummm first of all, I ordered drinks with the food. I was trying to get the drinks. So I asked her for a refund. She said to me I need the card you used. So I called my husband in who had the card. My husband is a black man. I walked outside and her whole mood changed when she was nice to him but gave me a whole attitude. All I'm saying is if you can go somewhere else I would say do it. They are very ignorant to white people but very nice to black people. So racism is everywhere and not just against black people. Racism can go in any and every direction. I just visited the McDonald's restaurant in the City of Franklin and was extremely disappointed with the drive‑thru service. I had a large order that I reviewed on the screen; however, when I received the order, several items were missing - which, in itself, is not an issue for me; mistakes happen. When I inquired, the cashier was not certain about the items that come with the meal and seemed quite confused. Her manager then came to the window and was quite rude as I tried to clarify the order. He asked for the bag back, and without gloves, went through it, touching the fries. Speaking to me without even a minuscule amount of customer service on his lips, he said, "You've got everything." I told him I had ordered a vanilla shake that was not on the ticket but was on the screen when I reviewed it. I asked if I could reorder it, and he told me I would need to go back through the drive‑thru line. When I arrived home, there were fries missing, one of the drinks was a Cherry Coke instead of the Coke I ordered, and there were no sauces for the nuggets. How disappointing it is when a business does not value your patronage. I hope this review is sent to Corporate, as customer service training, particularly for management, is a MUST. Since we have only one McDonald's in our city, I implore Corporate to provide it with the support it desperately needs. Horrible service, rude staff and no follow up when I emailed McDonalds about not getting food that I asked for and paid for. Wanted to order the Grimace birthday meal, was told that I had to leave drive thru and order that online and wait curbside. So I did and waited 25 minutes to get chicken nuggets, fries and a shake. Went in, huge line with no one helping anyone. Saw a girl with the grimace shake. Overheard the employee say my order number (now 30 minutes) and tell the person that takes it to the curb to tell me the "shake machine is down". I went up to the guy and said nicely that that's my order, thought you forgot about me and he just shoves the tray in my face and mumbles "here" . I asked what I should do since I ordered the meal specifically for the shake and that I see someone else with the shake. He mumbled, "guess you have to wait in line". No offer of a replacement, money refund, nothing. After waiting yet another 10 minutes in line with no one even looking at us, we left. Food was disgusting and cold, threw it out. Mind you, the drive thru was not busy so can't use that as an excuse. Since it was ordered through the app there is no receipt or way to cancel the order. And since there was no receipt you can't contact the store manager or take a survey so I went to the McDonald's website. Got a message saying that the store will reach out to me. Yeah, it's been over a week with nothing. It's not really about the money, it's more that you order something, don't get it and then get crappy, rude service on top of it. Went to pick up coffee from here (first mistake) because it was the only place open where I could get coffee at a later hour. The man who brought the coffee out was seemingly pushed out of the door - it looked like his coworkers pushed him out and they were all laughing as they did it. I thought nothing of it as I thought they were just joking around, but it was clear that the guy that came to my car to give me the coffee was feeling embarrassed and wouldn't even look at me. Anyways. I got coffee for myself and my girlfriend. We are both suffering from horrid stomach pains now, and honestly speculating if they put laxatives in our coffee. I honestly don't understand what's going on with this store. It's like the management has absolutely given up. I can not understand why making a mobile order can be so easy and complicated at the same time. Sold us two sodas, but the soda machine did not work correctly. It either gave us no carbonation or no syrup. We complained to 3 different employees to no avail. Then when we asked for the manager we were told the machine was not working. We asked why they were selling us sodas if they knew the machine did not work, but did not get a response to that. I've been inside physically a grand total of two times. Once in June/July 2013 and once last week. The first time, the dining room was filthy (by my standards) and the counter staff was disorganized and flustered due to the influx of people on that particular day. (So far, all typical for McDonald's.) The second time, I went inside around 9:40 am on a Thursday morning. Everything was still clean and calm. I do recall two staffers having a personal chat but that's typical for this town and most food establishments. We ordered two breakfast meals to go. It came out in no time and after checking the order for everything we needed, we were ready to go. I did order a milk that didn't taste quite right to me, but for all I know that's what all their individual milks taste like regularly. We spent a total of 10 minutes total at this location. No complaints but because it was better than the last time I frequented the establishment, I give it two stars. read more
