I've dined in once but mainly use the location's take out service. Price: Not too expensive, especially when you use the coupons they send out in the mail. Food: It's okay. The food is made in the house. I know the breakfast items are freshly made, but I can't speak about the steaks, etc. The food flavor can be pretty hit or miss depending upon what your fancy is at that moment. It definitely is filling yet greasy so I can never finish my food in one sitting. Staff: Is also hit or miss. On this last occasion, the two people still in the restaurant closing were very courteous and happy. The man doing the cooking even took the time to interact with my toddler and they were good sports and let us place an order to go about 20 minutes to close. They had cleaned up and everything. (We mistakenly thought they were still 24/7.) Despite my having good things to say, I still have to give them 3 stars because I don't love the food. I ordered a Dr.Pepper in my first sip I sucked up a bit of food not sure what it was, but I'm sure the last person to have it in their mouth was just as dissatisfied as me. If I could give this place a zero I absolutely would. Terrible service, staff is rude. One employees nose was running & it was like she refused to wipe it. One employee said she would be take our order in a sec, she then proceeded to walk away, and help customers whom were already seated and eating. We waited for 10 mins to place a to-go order. This order was never placed, we ended up leaving. You can't place a online order and you can not call to place an ordered. I can understand being short staffed, HOWEVER, you should not be in food service if you can not communicate to the public that you are short and the wait time will be longer than expected. Food was great, the staff was pleasant and trying very hard to keep up with everything and they checked in with us at least five times during Saturday breakfast hours and we're very friendly. My husband and I were on a long drive and decided to stop at the Huddle House in Franklin Virginia. This is perhaps the worst place I've ever been in my entire life. They advertise delicious milkshakes and home style cooking. We walked in, sat down and my husband ordered a milkshake. The personalityless waitress said "we have no ice cream". No explanation, and with a very rude delivery. We should have walked out at that point because it only went downhill from there. This morning we visited huddle house for the first time. After placing our order we waited more than 30 minutes to receive our food. We got up and left with out receiving any food when we realized that they had just placed the French toast on the grill after already waiting a long period of time with no interaction from our waitress. Two tables came in and sat after we had placed our order and received their food immediately. Keep in mind this was before our food had even started to cook. We will not be returning to huddle house. When we left we offered to pay for our drinks, but when I told the waitress I didn't understand how two table that came in after us had gotten their food first she comped our drinks. We went to Huddle House for breakfast this afternoon. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. Our drinks were not allowed to be empty at all. I ordered French toast without powdered sugar, but it was made with it anyway. The waitress noticed immediately and the cook fixed another serving. The music soundtrack is 50's & 60's and is loud enough to be heard but not intrusive. You will often hear the staff and customers singing along! Huddle House also has free WiFi, but no power plugs.
