Considering I am a 69 yr old woman with the expected limitations. Anthony took over with my training and is also wonderful!!! In a months time I have lost 8 lbs and 3% body fat!!! Not too shabby!!!! I cannot thank everyone at LA Fitness enough and look forward to our continuing Journey!!!!

This gym is like a bad first date. From the outside, it looks like it's got potential. Then you…read morewalk in and realize you've made a mistake. The equipment is there, sure, but half of it looks like it's been through a few natural disasters. Dumbbells scattered around like someone yelled "every man for himself," machines squeaking like haunted house props, and cardio equipment that should come with a prayer instead of a start button. The locker rooms? Imagine a middle school bathroom after dodgeball, except you're paying for the privilege. Showers that smell like regret, lockers that may or may not lock, and towels thinner than conspiracy theories. Staff is hit or miss. Some are friendly, most look like they're one membership complaint away from walking out. And don't even get me started on the "personal trainers" who seem more interested in texting than training. Two stars because it's still a gym. You can technically lift weights and sweat here. But if you're looking for inspiration, motivation, or even basic cleanliness, look elsewhere.

We are beyond grateful for this hitting academy and the incredible coaches. My son is 7 years old…read moreand had really only played T-ball before coming here, but the growth we've seen in such a short time has been amazing--not just in his skills, but in his confidence and love for baseball. He absolutely loves the summer camp and the one-on-one lessons. He gets excited every single time we're on the way, especially knowing he'll get to see Coach Pete. That excitement alone speaks volumes. Thanks to the coaches, he now has a better stance, a stronger and more confident swing, and--most importantly--a real motivation to play and improve. Coach Devin and Coach Billy have been phenomenal with him: patient, encouraging, and great at meeting him at his level while still pushing him to grow. This academy has truly helped spark a passion for the game in my son, and as a parent, that means everything. We are so thankful for the time, care, and dedication these coaches put into their kids. Highly recommend to any family looking to build both skills and confidence in young players.

He felt very out of place as everyone else was already a well established player. He didn't feel like the adults monitored things and felt pushed around by the more seasoned players. He did mention the owner was away the week he went. We paid for the after care - but he sat on bleachers not talking to anyone day after day. He asked me to share so other families can make sure their child has a good experience here and goes in with eyes open.

My minor son and his friends were approached while eating at Culver's by two Countryside Crunch…read moreFitness employees--Alex and Matthew--who solicited them to 'help out' a new salesman. Alex represented that their cards would be charged one cent and immediately canceled so he could receive credit for the sale. In reliance on that representation, the minors provided payment information. Contrary to those express representations, each has now been charged for a full membership and is being told they cannot cancel for three months. When my son sought resolution today at Countryside Crunch, management claimed the contracts were with Palm Harbor; Palm Harbor then sent him back to Countryside. This runaround is unacceptable and indicates deceptive, unfair, and predatory sales practices targeting minors. Be advised that I am documenting this incident and preserving all communications. I will be filing formal complaints with the Florida Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, the Better Business Bureau, and Crunch Fitness corporate, and I am consulting counsel regarding claims under Florida's Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA), as well as potential rescission based on minority and misrepresentation. I demand immediate cancellation of all memberships, a full refund of any charges, and written confirmation that no further charges will be processed. If this is not resolved within five business days, I will pursue all available legal and regulatory remedies. No one in my family will patronize Crunch Fitness, and I will encourage others to avoid it.

This was witness by several members as well as my training partner Ron. When Ron and I informed Carlos the manager, Carlos became defensive and then aggressive with me! Long story short, nothing was done. On Oct 28th of last week, this same member threated another older member with physical violence ("I'll beat your fucking ass") for TOUCHING one of three machines he was using. A Crunch Personal Trainer witnessed it as well as numerous members. When Ron and I left, the personal training had informed Carlos as well as Pete the assistant manager. We did as well. Again, nothing was done and this liability is still an active member in your club and free to threated another member (women, students, elderly) in the gym with no repercussions. So join Crunch Fitness and risk being assaulted by this aggressive and violent member becasue management AND owners are aware of this issue but choose to do nothing about it.
