Our first lesson showed he was an impressive and fast observer, and based his coaching on my game, physique, and basic flaws, which he made most understandable. In 5 more lessons, he gave me simple drills, much encouragement, and the order to "remember the good ones, not the bad ones." My accuracy percentage has improved impressively. My former persistent tops have become (mostly) airborne shots with about +8 yards per iron, and 10-15 on woods. I now have a clear idea about how and why proper posture (a big focus) and sequence work together. My short game have improved greatly, with more up and downs. Came here for a wedding actually. As a rule I have a great distaste for country clubs because of…read morethe snoot factor. This place is no different. It has a well manicured 18 hole golf course, nine more holes (27 total) gym, two pools, tennis courts and all that. It also has a clubhouse which is the focus of my review. First off, this is the ugliest clubhouse I've ever entered. Think Little Rascals He Man Woman Hater's Club if you're that much into club houses. Ugly brown crown molding, ratty carpeting, ugly beige walls and exposed wood ceilings. The lobby looks like a mausoleum too. After the ceremony in a non cool room (idiots turned on the heat by mistake), we were sent into the reception area, which was the south room and adjoining spaces. At least they actually had on the AC in here. Open bar and passed canapés as one would expect. Some of these canapés including bacon wrapped scallops stand out because they were AWFUL!! I almost spit out the spinach pie; I should've known better when I saw them drizzled with heaven knows what. Scallops over cooked and lousy...at least there was an open bar. After two dark rum and colas, I even had enough of that; cheap lo-rent swill. Salad was simple mixed greens with a slice of cuke, some red onion and a couple of CHILLED cherry tomatoes. Well, there was the next sign that the kitchen doesn't know what it's doing. Tomatoes are supposed to be room temperature; period. Dressing stop said salad was nondescript. For entrees the Queen Bee had crab stuffed grouper and I had filet mignon. Filet was bland but had a halfway decent demiglaze with it. Queen Bee didn't care for her grouper. Everyone else at the table seemed more or less okay with it. To be fair, I didn't try the stuff. Both entrees were accompanied by overcooked asparagus and bland rice pilaf. Blech! I'm sure the wedding party paid good money for this stuff. If this is any sign of how their dining rooms are, then kindly include me OUT of this club. I'd rather graze on the grass from the 10th fairway. The desserts you see are provided by an outside bakery so nothing to say here. Not really much worthwhile or positive to say about having a function here, either. Have it at Chuck E. Cheese or a bowling alley instead! Eh!!

The bucket balls are comparable to just about any other Golf Range. You pay inside, the'll give you tokens in return to get your golf balls from the machine right outside. The range is spacious enough to where you shouldn't have a hard time picking a good spot to hit from. It is well lit, though I would like it if they'd stayed open a bit later, even an extra hour of so. They also offer private lessons, which are decent. You just set up a time that works for you and get pointers on your swing. There's no real agenda, meaning you only get pointers on how to properly hit the ball. Not a bad deal but I did have higher expectations. These lessons may be more beneficial for intermediate golfers. Amateur Golfers will benefit more from a six week Group course.

Eric presented some great options and was able to dial in the new driver so that I was getting more height and added 30 yards to my previous drivers distance, plus more accuracy on ball placement.

If this review below results in a different outcome, I will keep everyone posted. Read on for EXPLANATION. 1) My driver fitting says that I got fitted for a Cobra Driver that they didn't even have in stock. Not only this one, but they had NO Cobra drivers in their possession. 2) My Iron fitting shows NO DISCERNABLE difference between what I was hitting (Cobra 1 Length Steel Shafts) and the Ping (G435 Graphite). The "fitter" said I should get. When I say no discernable difference, I mean Launch Angle, Decent Angle, Ball Speed, and Off Line (9.7 yds) were THE SAME. The only STAT that was different was the backspin. The Pings were 340 RPMs Lower. Again, NO DISCERNABLE difference. After getting all the wrong answers from the Local Store and told there was no one other than he who could help me (Lie), I contacted the Corporate Office and was given the Name and Phone # for the Regional Manager. Even the Regional Manager told me that he would not have recommended making a change because there was NO DISCERNABLE DIFFERENCE in the clubs. I asked the Regional if the "fitters" were also paid commission on their sales and he hesitated at first and I asked him again, and he said YES. After several back and forth calls with the Regional, he informed me that the best Golftech Marketing would do for me was offer me $600 for my clubs on a trade in. That was less that 1/2 of what I paid them a year ago and my clubs have only been used about 20 rounds and no practicing. I told them I would give them my clubs and $300 toward a comparable club with proper fitting. SecondSwing is their preferred provider for offering to buy clubs that players may want to trade-in. SecondSwing offered me $554. WOW! Golftech offered me a WHOLE WHOOPING $6 more! Of course I turned them down. I know that not everyone will have the experience as I did, but you would think that Golftech Corporate would want to do what was right by the CUSTOMER if for no other reason the Customer was lied to by the fitter and also imputed totally false information about a Driver Fitting, possible, in hopes of earning... that would be the incorrect use of a word, collecting another commission. A. The "fitter imputed false information about the driver fitting and also should not have recommended any change to my iron set based on Golftech's own fitting equipment. B. The person at the store lied to me about not being able to speak to anyone else but him about my concerns. I am still going to try and pursue this by copying this review to upper management in Golftech. I will post a follow-up at a later date.

Only the PW had been hit and they had a nice discount on them so I tested them out in the simulator and ended up buying them. The young man who helped me out (Ben) was super helpful and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Golfers if you're in the area check out this store. Some great deals on preowned gear as well as all of the usual new equipment you find everywhere.

Every single person walks around like they are tiger woods and anything you ask them is a burden. I'm sitting in a bay trying a set of vokeys and trying to ask for assistance on the bounce level for my game, you would've thought I asked for a kidney. I've bought clubs here once, had a mediocre experience. This one im over it, I'll just drive 30 mins to the pga superstore over dealing with these yahoos. If someone from corporate went in and didn't say who they were, they would be floored how terrible the fitters treat customers. Every single time I've been here.
