We had a great time stopping in for a couple of cocktails with some friends over the weekend! The staff were super friendly and in good spirits (no pun intended). The cocktails were delicious, and they offered many different seating options. Definitely will be a place we'll come back to next time we're in town!

Hard Water is a very cool bar in the middle of Crosby. I love the combination of a little bit dive bar, not too much but a little that that still fits with the well thought out cocktail list. The bartenders are well trained and do a nice job of whipping up anything that you like. This is a big ice cube place, which is somewhat hard to find up here.

Beer and Craft Cocktails. Stopped in after being at another store in Crosby and decided to check it out. I don't deviate much from Tito's and soda but my son is always up for a craft cocktail. I had the Blueberry Mayan Mule and it was delicious. My son had the Smoked Old Fashion. The smoke technique was pretty cool and he said the drink was smooth and tasty. Will certainly be back. Bar tender was great- super pleasant- great service!

I recommend Hard Water Taphouse. A hidden gem. Looking for a place to enjoy a afternoon drink. We sat with friends in a relaxing window area with a couch comfortable chairs and a Mario game play station. Our server was attentive and the brews was coming. The world was good and ended perfectly. Crosby is lucky to have a place like this. I can honestly say, this place, is a big city atmosphere and class with a small time welcome hello. We will be back again, and again, and again

This bar is fantastic! The bartender Sam, owner Mike, and new bar back Billy were making our experience a 100%, top tier. Thank you for a wonderful night at the best place in Crosby, MN.

Fun place! We walked by it several times and never really knew what it was. They do not serve food, but you can have food from neighboring restaurants delivered there. Great stay and the drinks they make are so fun and creative. Highly recommend stopping in here. I wish I could find a picture of the two drinks I had, they were so good! We miss stopping in a lot because they do not open until 3:30pm. They need to open Thur-Sun at like 1pm in the summer,.

Best place for a cocktail signature cocktail in the area. Smooth infusion of fruits into bourbons and hand made cocktails.

I was in Brainerd for a basketball game and stopped into 612 Station for a bite before the game…read more Someone at the next table said that it is under new ownership. 612 has a full bar and at least 12 beers on tap including a couple local offerings. The menu is pretty simple but includes burgers, appetizers, 2 salads, a couple of sandwiches and 3 or 4 full dinners. I tried the Walleye sandwich and it was really good! The fish was flavorful and flaky with a light tempura- like batter and the fillet was served on a fresh, grilled hoagie style roll. The sandwich came with lettuce and tomato but they weren't really necessary. A bland yellow tar tar sauce also came with the fish. (The tar tar sauce needed onion, pickle and fresh parsley to complement the Walleye). Sandwiches come with a choice of cole slaw, fries or tots. I had the fries which were excellent potato peel type shaped. Sometimes restaurants serve a Walleye sandwich that doesn't taste like or have the texture of Walleye but that wasn't the case here. This sandwich was really Walleye, not some mystery fillet that fell off the back of the Sysco truck. My companion ordered the California burger and pronounced it good. She ate everything except the fresh red onion so I think it was more than acceptable. Service was fine for a local bar which is basically what 612 Station is. If you find yourself downtown Brainerd, give it a go. In my opinion you can't really go wrong with a cold beer and a great Walleye sandwich.

Everything about our meal was perfect!…read more Background: we've been to almost every restaurant within 30 miles of Crosslake, most many times. We somehow missed this place. We would rank this meal as one of our best in the area. I had the crab cake sandwich, upgraded to include the dinner salad. The sandwich is one of the best things I've ever eaten. And, am pretty sure the amazing blu cheese dressing was house made. I tasted my husband's food, and can confirm... his cheeseburger upgraded to have the Cesar salad and the shrimp bisque was FANTASTIC!!! Will definitely be back!

So many things to tell you(long post), I was searching the area near our summer rental for a good…read morespot for my birthday dinner. As I read the menu for this restaurant, I was getting that excited feeling that I stumbled upon a place where they really know good food. The Italian nachos looked promising as well as the reuben egg rolls. Sandwiches, wraps, burgers, oooh! What's this is see? Omaha Hereford ribeye? IMHO black angus is highly overrated. I love a good heffer! So we seat ourselves, the place is popping busy, they're having an all you can eat crab leg special this Friday night. We start ordering off the menu. Beverages to start, nothing fancy, just a good local craft beer and a summer mocktail. Appetizers, my birthday, I get to choose. I decided on the reuben egg rolls. For the main course, my bride orders the sirloin and I order the ribeye, we both get salad. The egg rolls arrive first, looking very homemade. OMFG, they are soooo good. Watch out for the juicy squirt (fresh sauerkraut). Ok, house salad - you'd think nothing special needs to be said about a house salad, we'll let me tell you, house made croutons, house made dressings. It's these small little touches that make a big difference. The steaks were fantastic, the sides perfectly done. The service- on point. The only drawback was the little black flies bugging my legs throughout our visit. But hey, it's northern Minnesota, it comes with the territory and can be easily fixed with a couple of Vector or Lavex bug catchers. Overall, I shall finish pontificating. My suffencies have been sorrencified!

The Lake's area best Asian food hands down!…read more Our first visit was perfect. Service was outstanding, attentive, friendly and prompt. Three dining areas and each was setup such that table conversation was easy and clear. The two story, clean, appropriately lit spaces in this log building invite you to relax and enjoy yourself. Drink & food orders easy and menu explanations were concise and descriptive. Entrees of sesame chicken and sweet & sour chicken, with egg rolls, wontons and the out of this world bacon fried rice. While we were skeptical about the rice our server assured us it was delicious and she was absolutely correct! Portions were generous, egg rolls were the best we've had anywhere in America. The batter was light, crunchy and nary a trace of oil, cooked to perfection. Wontons were killer and all the sauces were spot on and truly complimented each dish. We had leftovers and added a takeout order (generous) of the bacon fried rice. And all the food was as good the next day. Our dessert was a vanilla flan that honestly was the first time either of us had one. And we were floored at how good it was and laughed as we took a photo of the empty plate, but included the first picture I forgot I had taken. Delicious, light and smooth, it's another new favorite. The Chef and staff have created a menu that's rare in our area in a friendly atmosphere, in a warm, inviting rustic setting. We're looking forward to many more trips and exploring the rest of this Chef's menu.
