We eat here frequently and are always happy with our food and service. The Vietnamese food is amazing and the rotating specials are a nice change of pace. Great place to watch the Vikings! Highly recommend.

Whats left of the sesame chicken, it was going fast at the table!

I don't leave 5 star reviews very often unless they are deserved. This place was legit! We started with egg rolls and wontons, both were delicious. Our table split lo mein and sesame chicken. Both were fresh and also delicious. The chicken was fresh, crisp and homemade versus typical frozen nuggets you find and so many places. We arrived just before the kitchen closed and staff was still polite and helpful. Even made an extra order of wontons after my son devoured most of them, very impressed. Will be back for sure!

Vietnamese dishes are excellent. Unfortunately they dont like to answer their phone, especially on Sunday evenings, for local takeout.

Food is great, people are great, kitchen is slow. Ordered at 5:30, it's now 7:07 and no food still. Needs more staff or faster kitchen.

Everything about our meal was perfect!…read more Background: we've been to almost every restaurant within 30 miles of Crosslake, most many times. We somehow missed this place. We would rank this meal as one of our best in the area. I had the crab cake sandwich, upgraded to include the dinner salad. The sandwich is one of the best things I've ever eaten. And, am pretty sure the amazing blu cheese dressing was house made. I tasted my husband's food, and can confirm... his cheeseburger upgraded to have the Cesar salad and the shrimp bisque was FANTASTIC!!! Will definitely be back!

So many things to tell you(long post), I was searching the area near our summer rental for a good…read morespot for my birthday dinner. As I read the menu for this restaurant, I was getting that excited feeling that I stumbled upon a place where they really know good food. The Italian nachos looked promising as well as the reuben egg rolls. Sandwiches, wraps, burgers, oooh! What's this is see? Omaha Hereford ribeye? IMHO black angus is highly overrated. I love a good heffer! So we seat ourselves, the place is popping busy, they're having an all you can eat crab leg special this Friday night. We start ordering off the menu. Beverages to start, nothing fancy, just a good local craft beer and a summer mocktail. Appetizers, my birthday, I get to choose. I decided on the reuben egg rolls. For the main course, my bride orders the sirloin and I order the ribeye, we both get salad. The egg rolls arrive first, looking very homemade. OMFG, they are soooo good. Watch out for the juicy squirt (fresh sauerkraut). Ok, house salad - you'd think nothing special needs to be said about a house salad, we'll let me tell you, house made croutons, house made dressings. It's these small little touches that make a big difference. The steaks were fantastic, the sides perfectly done. The service- on point. The only drawback was the little black flies bugging my legs throughout our visit. But hey, it's northern Minnesota, it comes with the territory and can be easily fixed with a couple of Vector or Lavex bug catchers. Overall, I shall finish pontificating. My suffencies have been sorrencified!

It didn't take long for me to crave some of the flavors of Tex Mex that was so abundant back in Texas where I lived. My friends suggested I give Zorbaz a chance and it is still a place I like to visit when I go back. What they are known for here is Mexican food and pizza. Weird combo, but it hits the spot. You can get the best of both worlds if you order the Mexican pizza which is basically a taco salad on a pizza. It is one of my go to items here. They do put alot of focus on the Mexican food side of the menu with items you would expect like quesadillas, burritos, tacos, etc. Is it authentic or close to what I get back home? Nah. It's still tasty food and gets the job done. They also have a very impressive tap beer selection with beers from all over. When in MN, I will always go with a Michelob Golden though! They have locations throughout MN but I've only been to the location on Cross Lake. I'll continue coming back if in the area.

Look, I really don't want to be harsh, but I have no idea how this restaurant has so many positive…read morereviews AND repeat customers. As an Asian American, there is absolutely NOTHING remotely authentic about this menu, in fact, it reeks a bit of cultural appropriation and borders on offensive. The fact that they use the term "oriental" to describe their cuisine speaks volumes. I ordered an array of items to try, and each one was more disappointing than the previous one. It seemed like the chef just put popular dish items on the menu and then whipped up whatever he/she had back there. At one point, I honestly thought I was being punked...that some of the dishes were a joke. See photos of my food items to judge for yourself. The "chow mein" is especially embarrassing. To add insult to injury, each dish is upwards of $11, and you could pan fry some top ramen noodles that tasted better than these dishes. The entire restaurant staff was Caucasian, including one of the chefs, who I saw come from the kitchen to hand deliver a take-out order. I have a hard time coming to terms with believing that this is what Midwest folks think is Asian cuisine, let alone GOOD Asian cuisine, especially when you have a decent Chinese buffet down the street. I have NO problem with restaurants serving "homemade" food, but don't try to pawn it off as anything remotely "oriental" when you haven't even made a basic attempt to recreate anything with any semblance of Asian flavor. I will say this - the staff was extremely warm and friendly, and the customer service was great. But sadly, that's not enough to get me to return.
