House special tofu ($11). Heavy, but fine.
Kedar D.

Four Seas is the only place in Park Rapids to get Chinese food (and one of the only places with tofu on the menu), so it definitely fills a niche. It's also an uber-efficient establishment and was the only place in town taking orders with ease; every other restaurant we stopped by had long waits or had stopped taking orders for the evening (as early as 6 p.m.!). Park Rapids is a tourist town but its businesses aren't great at handling mobs of visitors, especially during COVID times. We got a bunch of dishes and generally liked all of them in the way that a person likes oily, heavy Chinese takeout. The house special tofu ($11) was the best thing we had, while the vegetable lo mein ($10) hit the spot in a comfort-food type of way. Try Four Seas if you want Chinese. It's your only game in town.

Yup, the front door is around back.
Claire H.

If you can't find this place, or it looks closed, go around to the alley and you'll find the door. It's a surprising little gem in this little town. Everyone is pleased to have real Chinese food available and a local favorite.

Greeted as we entered. Seated promptly, and served efficiently. Food was excellent. We'll be back again.

Relatively cheap food that comes out quickly at the expensive of portion size and taste.

Good food, inexpensive. I was here a year and a half ago, so I don't remember it well, but it was good.

The only positive thing I have to say is I did not leave hungry . Nauseated, Contracting the back…read moredoor trots 15 MI down the road , and a horrible taste in my mouth until I could Swig a beer into my next stop , all accounted for . Everything dipped an oil tasted like weeks old oil . If you don't mind what you put down your gullet , 1350 is a pretty good bargain to walk away with a full stomach . But if you appreciate the wonderful flavors of most Chinese food , I would avoid this stop . After sampling 15 different foods or so the only thing I can look forward to was the end of the meal where I could go grab one tiny little cup of iced over orange sherbet of which when I finally dug into found out the bottom third was all ice water that froze and separated from the rest of the cup . Every dessert and cookie tasted like they each had 36 ingredients none of which were natural Foods. To go back to the positive , I did leave full it was consumable , and I actually don't regret spending $13.50 to not have to eat again for possibly 48 hours , because my desire for food has been driven below the depths of my soul . And I imagine that's not coming back for a day or two . But if you love chinese, do not possibly ruin your appreciation of the creative and succulent flavors of authentic oriental food . That was not Chinese food , it was Americanized versions with tons of sugar in every thing that was sweet and maybe even some things that weren't . I do not know if they use MSG . But in this particular circumstance if they did use it they should have used more even though I don't like to eat things with MSG I'm sure it actually would have improved the flavor . Sorry to be so harsh I know everybody works hard . But need a new Chef new recipes or something . This camper was not happy . Best part of my day when I was able to consume four Tums and drink a wineenkugel's honey Weiss beer

I bit into my broccoli, and I thought I broke a tooth at first when I heard the crunch, no, it was just a good sized stone!! My husband had coconut shrimp, and he was pulling gritty sand type stuff out of his mouth. Worst. Chinese. Ever. do NOT recommend.

Update: Still very very flavorful food for a Chinese buffet,…read moretypical items but tasty. Fried chicken wings are very good. Still not using as much ginger in them which is great for us. Just a hint. Fried fish, I can't ever get enough of it, absolutely one of my favorites. well worked and constantly cleaned and filled and best thing of all hot. Salads and deserts still fresh. Drinks are still included in buffet as well as a soft serve machine. Also white and the best chocolate milk available as well. We come here at least twice a month now for the last year and still consistently good food every time. Still our heavy to go place for Chinese if you're looking for an assortment. Bathrooms are always clean, as well as the buffet area. Plates are cleared quickly off the tables. They also offer a menu as well. Yessss we love this place still.

We had a big group of 12 and we weren't sure if we needed to get a table first and then pay, or how it worked. And the servers didn't understand what we were trying to ask. The buffet had limited selection of food, which some of was okay. My favorites were the egg drop soup, cream cheese ragoon and green beans. The desserts were also okay. It's definitely a place if you want to stuff up on a lot of food at an okay price.

When I went in to pick up my order it was 70.00! Holy Moly! That's a big difference. They said the price on the website is wrong and their excuse was they don't know how to change it. There are IT people that do know how to do it. That is no excuse! That is a big difference and a lot of money! So think twice before you go!

I love moo shu pork or chicken and have eaten it in many restaurants around the country. The moo…read moreshoo (stet) chicken at Chinese Dragon was the worst I have had. My preference is plum sauce, but hoison sauce was my only choice. It was heavy as was the base for the moo shu filling. Their version of Chinese pancakes was thick and heavy and tasted like flour, very similar to a flour tortilla. Very unappetizing when assembled. The egg rolls were heavily breaded and overcooked. On another occasion I ordered the cashew chicken. It was very good with quality ingredients but not very flavorful. The decor is beautiful and authentic, unlike many Chinese restaurants, which tend to be tacky. The dining area is clean and in excellent condition. Service is a bit slow, but that is because they are having trouble hiring staff, like many other businesses here and across the country, so we are always prepared to be patient. The staff members we interacted with were always efficient and considerate.
